10. Tips
Your camera is shock-resistant, waterproof and robust. To ensure the best picture
quality and longevity, follow these simple tips:
Store Dry – Though your camera is waterproof, storing it while moist is not a good
practice as it may encourage mildew.
Batteries – Have backup batteries on hand so you don’t miss anything!
Status Icons – The status icons are very helpful; learn them so you can assess your
camera’s status at a glance.
Shocks – Yes, your camera is very sturdy, but using it as a football or having a game of
catch with it in the water is not a good idea.
Temperature – Sure, take your camera to the beach, but protect it from prolonged
exposure to direct sunlight and rinse off any saltwater as soon as you can.
Battery Case – Properly closing the battery case forms a watertight seal, however, do
not expose the interior of the battery case to water; it will damage your camera.
Lens – Keep the lens clean using a soft, dry cloth to remove any dust or particles that
could adversely affect photographic results.
