into stunning compositions but does so eortlessly, automatically
recognizing the scene then cropping accordingly. And thanks to
Sony’s By Pixel Super Resolution Technology and high-resolution
Exmor sensor, images can be radically cropped without marked loss
of image quality.

more natural movement while aspiring moviemakers
can select 24p* to re-create the look of traditional
cinema. 3000’s responsive autofocus keeps subjects
in sharp focus, allowing you to record even moving
subjects and still be assured of excellent results. The
built-in microphone delivers superior audio quality, and
Digital Zoom can be used to extend the lens’ maximum
magnification while recording.

If you can’t seem to get close enough to the subject, activate Clear
Image Zoom. This extends the reach of your lens up to 2x without
markedly degrading image quality. Clear Image Zoom employs
Sony’s By Pixel Super Resolution Technology to achieve amazingly
sharp zoom shots without a telephoto lens. And by combining it
with 3000’s Digital Zoom and Smart Zoom*, you can increase
magnification up to 8x over the lens’ maximum focal length. What’s
more, Clear Image Zoom supports both photos and movies so you’ll
always have plenty of reach for distant subjects.

your artistic repertoire. The ability to view eects in real-time on the LCD screen or viewfinder* before taking the
shot lets you experiment with dierent looks until you are satisfied with the result.
