INFORMACIÓN GENERAL
1) Manipular el paquete con cuidado. Desembalarlo y comprobar que
el contenido coincide con lo indicado en el apartado de la “Lista de
embalaje”. Si se observa algún componente dañado o la ausencia
de alguno, avisar rápidamente al distribuidor.
2) No instalar ni utilizar el equipo sin leer, previamente, este manual
de instrucciones.
3) Estas instrucciones forman parte inseparable del aparato y deben
estar disponibles a todos los usuarios del equipo.
4) Cualquier duda puede ser aclarada contactando con su distribuidor
o con el servicio técnico de J.P. SELECTA, s.a.u.
5) ¡ATENCIÓN! NO SE ADMITIRÁ NINGUNA MÁQUINA PARA
REPARAR QUE NO ESTÉ DEBIDAMENTE LIMPIA Y DESIN-
FECTADA.
6) Toda modicación, eliminación o falta de mantenimiento de cual-
quier dispositivo de la máquina, transgrede la directiva de utiliza-
ción 2009/104/CE y el fabricante no se hace responsable de los
daños que pudieran derivarse.
7) No utilizar el equipo con uidos que puedan desprender vapores
o formar mezclas explosivas o inamables.

Las estufas refrigeradas Hotcold F y J permiten la utilización de agi-
tadores sin calefacción en su interior que pueden conectarse a través
del oricio lateral.

DESCRIPCIÓN DEL EQUIPO
Las estufas refrigeradas Hotcold F y J están construidas en acero
inoxidable AISI 304.
Son equipos de circulación forzada de aire que permiten:
Estabilidad*: ±0,5ºC
Homogeneidad*: ±1,3ºC
Resolución: ±0,1ºC
Humedad: ±6%
*Nota: ensayos realizados en las condiciones ambientales 20ºC y
50%HR.
Estos equipos están diseñados para el trabajo bajo condiciones am-
bientales de laboratorio de:
Temperatura ambiente 18-27ºC
Humedad relativa 25-75%
Trabajar fuera de estos márgenes puede limitar sus prestaciones.
*Nota: la humedad es un valor jado por ajuste. No es posible que el
usuario lo modique.

No utilizar el aparato para el tratamiento de productos que puedan
desprender vapores o formar mezclas explosivas o inamables.
INSTALACIÓN
Colocar la estufa sobre una supercie plana, horizontal y nivelada,
procurando dejar un espacio libre de 10 cm. por la parte posterior y por
los laterales del equipo.
Para un mejor funcionamiento de la estufa, no situarla en lugares ex-
puestos directamente al sol ni a fuentes de calor.
Conectar la estufa a la red eléctrica. Asegúrese que el equipo se co-
necta a una tensión de red que coincide con la indicada en la placa de
características. No utilice el equipo sin estar conectada la toma de tierra.
Nota: antes de conectar a la red eléctrica es recomendable dejar el
equipo en reposo 24h para estabilizar el aceite y el gas del grupo de frío.
Si cambia la clavija de enchufe tenga en cuenta lo siguiente:
Cable azul: Neutro.
Cable marrón: Fase.
Cable Amarillo/Verde: Tierra.
Vericar que el interruptor magnetotérmico del cuadro eléctrico (4) esté
accionado. Ver apartado «Cuadro eléctrico» del capítulo «Operación».
Estas estufas se utilizan habitualmente para la conservación de productos
en unas condiciones jas. El equipo no genera humedad. Los ambientes
muy secos pueden afectar el funcionamiento del equipo.
Aviso a los clientes:
El producto se compone de varios componentes y diversos materiales que
deben reciclarse o, en su defecto, depositarse en los sitios correspondientes
de eliminación de escombros cuando la vida del producto se ha completado o
cuando, de lo contrario, es necesario desecharlo. Para ello, el usuario nal que
adquiere el producto debe conocer la normativa vigente de cada municipio y /
o localidad en función de los residuos eléctricos y electrónicos. El usuario que
adquiere este producto debe conocer y ser responsable de los posibles efectos
de los componentes sobre el medio ambiente y la salud humana como resultado
de la presencia de sustancias peligrosas. Nunca coloque el producto en un con-
tenedor convencional de alcance ciudadano sin un desmantelamiento previo y
conocimiento de los componentes que incorpora. Si no conoce el procedimiento a
seguir, consulte con el ayuntamiento de la ciudad para obtener más información.

FUNCIONAMIENTO
Todas las funciones de equipo se establecen mediante la pantalla táctil.
Presionar suavemente con el dedo en el centro de cada icono.
1 – PANEL DE CONTROL
El panel de control se gestiona mediante teclas virtuales. Pulse sobre el
botón que aparece en el pantalla de forma suave y lo más al centro posi-
ble del botón.
Para modicar el valor de temperatura de consigna, pulse sobre el valor
de consigna. Cambiará de color. Pulse sobre las teclas de aumentar/dis-
minuir para ajustar el valor de temperatura.
Una vez ajustado el valor el sistema automáticamente cambiará el valor
de consigna.
2 – MENÚ SERVICIO TÉCNICO
Pulse la tecla de entrada y el sistema pedirá una contraseña para entrar
en la pantalla de conguración. USO EXCLUSIVO SERVICIO TÉCNICO.
Para entrar en este menú el sistema pedirá un código PIN (0284)
Pulse sobre cada X y modique su valor con las teclas echa. (introduzca
el pin correcto).
Pulse la tecla de retorno para salir de esta pantalla. Pulse la tecla OK para
acceder a la siguiente pantalla.
Si el pin es correcto aparecerá la siguiente pantalla:

MANTENIMIENTO
Antes de quitar la tapa de la estufa para manipular en su interior,
desconecte la toma de red.
La manipulación de los circuitos electrónicos internos de la es-
tufa por personal no autorizado puede provocar daños de difícil
reparación. Asegúrese de llevar el equipo a uno de los servicios
técnicos autorizados por J.P. SELECTA, s.a.u.
LIMPIEZA:
Para la limpieza de las diferentes piezas de los equipos, recomenda-
mos los siguientes productos:
Limpieza del acero inoxidable: Alcohol.
Limpieza de carátulas y plásticos: Alcohol con algodón o con un paño
no abrasivo.

GARANTÍA
Este producto tiene una garantía de un año. La garantía no cubre
los daños causados por un uso indebido o por causas ajenas a J.P.
SELECTA, s.a.u.
Cualquier manipulación del equipo por personal no autorizado por J.P.
SELECTA, s.a.u. anula automáticamente los benecios de la garantía.
PUESTA EN MARCHA:
1. Vericar que se ha seguido correctamente el protocolo de insta-
lación.
2. Accionar el interruptor general (ver foto) que se encuentra en la
parte posterior del equipo. Se iluminará la pantalla gráca del
controlador de temperatura

TERMOSTATO DE SEGURIDAD
8. Tornillo de regulación del termostato de seguridad (gris).
9. Pulsador de rearme manual del termostato (blanco).
Rearme del termostato de seguridad
El termostato de seguridad es un elemento para prevenir que la temperatura
exceda un valor. Si por un caso fortuito el termostato se dispara, o sea, abre el
circuito de potencia, el elemento calefactor dejará de funcionar. Habitualmente
existe un indicador luminoso, o un mensaje de error, que indica que el termo-
stato se encuentra en esta posición.
Si el termostato se dispara, revise que el equipo tenga un buen aspecto y que
no presente algún tipo de recalentamiento en algún punto.
Para cambiar su estado, simplemente debe pulsar el botón blanco (9), oirá un
“clic” que indica que el termostato se ha rearmado. Si el equipo no se ha en-
friado sucientemente el termostato no podrá rearmarse, deberá esperar que
la temperatura baje para que puede rearmarse.
Ajuste del termostato de seguridad
En algunos equipos como estufas o baños y con procesos determinados puede
ser útil ajustar el valor de disparo del termostato, pero para el resto de equipos
esta operación NO deber realizarse nunca.
De fábrica, el termostato viene ajustado a la temperatura de disparo.
Para ajustar la temperatura de disparo del termostato de seguridad, seguir los
siguientes pasos:
1. Con el equipo conectado a la red, girar el eje del termostato de seguridad
(8) en sentido horario hasta el nal de escala, con la ayuda de un destornillador
plano.
2. Seleccionar la temperatura de disparo mediante las teclas de control. Esta
temperatura debe ser como mínimo 3°C superior a la temperatura de trabajo.
3. Poner en marcha el equipo mediante la tecla Start.
4. Cuando el equipo esté estabilizado a la temperatura anteriormente selec-
cionada, girar lentamente el eje del termostato de seguridad (8) en sentido
antihorario hasta que éste se dispare (se escucha un «clic» característico y se
enciende el piloto de alarma).
5. Parar el equipo y dejarlo enfriar con la tapa abierta durante 15 minutos como
mínimo.
6. Seleccionar mediante las teclas de selección de temperatura, la temperatura
de trabajo (como mínimo 3°C inferior a la que se había seleccionado anterior-
mente).
7. Poner en marcha nuevamente mediante la tecla Start. Una vez estabilizada
la temperatura, el equipo estará listo para trabajar.

Do not use the cabinet for thermal treatment of products which
can give off vapours capable of making an explosive mixture.
INSTALLATION
Place the cabinet on a at horizontal, level surface, leaving a space
of about 10 cm at the back and sides of the equipment.
For a maximum efciency, do not place the machine in direct sunlight
or other sources of heat.
Connect the equipment to the mains. Be sure that the voltage supply
is the same as the one indicated on the characteristics plate. Do not
use the equipment if it is NOT earthed.
Note: Before connecting it to the mains, it is advisable to leave the
machine at rest for 24h to stabilize oil and gas cooling unit.
If you have to change the plug cap, bear in mind the following:
Blue cable: Neutral.
Brown cable: Phase.
Yellow/green cable: Earth.
Check that the circuit breaker on the electrical panel (4) is powered.
See “Electrical panel” section on the “Operation” chapter.
These cabinets are commonly used to preserve products under xed con-
ditions. The equipments do not generate humidity. Very dry environments
can affect the operation of these equipments.
Notice to customers:
The product is made up of various components and various materials that must
be recycled or, failing that, deposited in the corresponding debris removal sites
when the product’s life has been completed or when otherwise it is necessary
to dispose of it. To do this, the end user who acquires the product must know
the current regulations of each municipality and / or locality based on the waste
electrical and electronic equipment. The user who acquires this product must be
aware of and responsible for the potential effects of the components on the envi-
ronment and human health as a result of the presence of hazardous substances.

OPERATION
All equipment functions are set using the touch screen. Gently press your
nger in the center of each icon.
1 – CONTROL PANEL
The control panel is managed by using virtual keys. Press gently on the key
that appears on the screen, as closed as possible to its center.
Setpoint temperature
Inside chamber temperature
Relative humidity value indicator
Technical service menu key
To modify the setpoint temperature value, click on the setpoint value. It will
change color. Press on the increase/decrease keys to adjust the temperature
value.
Once the value is adjusted, the system will automatically change the setpoint
value.
2 – TECHNICAL SERVICE MENU
Press the enter key and the system will ask for a password to enter the setup
screen. EXCLUSIVE USE FOR TECHNICAL SERVICE.
To enter this menu, the system will ask for a PIN code (0284)
Click on each X and modify its value with the arrow keys, to enter the correct
pin.
Press the return key to exit this screen. Press the OK key to access the next
screen.
If the pin is correct, the following screen will appear:
1. Time between defrosts. Factory value: 8 hours.
2. Defrost time. Factory value: 5 minutes.
3. Fan start timeout. After a defrost cycle, to prevent heating from
moving inside the chamber, the fan waits this time. Factory value: 1min
4. Temperature offset correction. Adjust this value by comparing with a
standard thermometer.
5. Maximum defrost temperature. The internal temperature probe mea-
sures the temperature of the defrost resistance, if this value is excee-
ded, it cuts off the power supply to this resistance. Factory value: 80ºC.
6. Relative Humidity offset correction. Adjust this value by comparing
with a standard hygrometer.
OK key to accept the values.
RETURN key to exit without saving the values.

MAINTENANCE
Before removing the case, disconnect the equipment from the
mains.
The manipulation of the internal electronic circuits of the cabinet
by unauthorized personnel can cause irreparable damages. Take
it to one of J.P.SELECTA’s authorized technical services.
CLEANING:
For cleaning different parts, we recommend to use the following
products:
Stainless steel cleaning: Alcohol
Plastic cleaning: Alcohol with cotton duster or with a non-abrasive cloth.

This product is guaranteed for one year. The guarantee does not cover
damages caused by an incorrect use or causes beyond the control
of J.P. SELECTA, s.a.u.
Any manipulation of the equipment by unathorized personnel by J.P.
SELECTA, s.a.u. cancels the guarantee automatically.
STARTING UP:
1. Check that the installation protocol has been correctly followed.
2. Switch on the main switch (see picture) located on the back side of
the equipment. The graphical display of the temperature controller
will light up.

Rearming the safety thermostat
Safety thermostat is an element to prevent the temperature from exceeding
a value. If by a fortuitous event the thermostat is triggered, that is, it opens
the power circuit, the heating element will stop working. Usually there is an
indicator light, or an error message, that indicates that the thermostat is in
this position.
If the thermostat is triggered, check that the equipment looks good and it
is not overheating at any point.
To change its status, simply press the white button (9), and you will hear a
“click” that indicates that the thermostat has been reset. If the equipment
has not cooled down sufciently, the thermostat cannot be reset, and you
must wait for the temperature to drop before it can be reset.
Adjusting the safety thermostat
From factory, the thermostat is adjusted to its maximum temperature. To
adjust the safety thermostat temperature, do as follows:
1. With the equipment connected to the mains, turn the safety thermostat
screw (8) clockwise to the end of the scale, with the help of a at screw-
driver.
2. Select the desired safety temperature using the control keys. This tem-
perature has to be minimum at 3ºC above the working temperature.
3. Turn on the equipment with the Start key.
4. When the equipment is stabilized at the above selected temperature, turn
the safety thermostat screw (8) slowly to the left until it clicks, and the red
indicator lamp lights up.
5. Stop the equipment and leave it to cool with the lid open for 15 minutes.
6. Select the working temperature by using the temperature selection keys
(minimum at 3ºC below the desired safety temperature).
7. Turn the equipment on again with the Start key. Once the temperature is
stabilized, the machine is ready to work.
