★If the unit is left unused for a long period, please turn off the POWER switch.
★Do not use the unit in places that are extremely hot, cold, dusty, or humid.

User instruction
1. Basic operation
1. 1Power supply
It is powered by built-in lithium-battery. When the remaining capacity of battery
indication shows , please charge in time. Charge methods:
1) Connect the charger with power source, and then connect the USB interface of the
charger with the USB jack of this unit.
2) Connect the unit with PC (should be in open state) via USB cable.
After using one of above-mentioned charge method, the unit will be in charge state. The
battery indication icon will move from empty to full state circularly. Usually speaking,
the charge time for the unit is around 3 to 4 hours.
NOTE: 1) Make sure the switch button in “off” position while charging.
2) While the battery indicator becomes full, it’s suggested charge 1 or 2 more
hours during charging.
1.2. Power on/off
1) When switch button is in “off”, the unit then power off can not be powered on.
2) When switch button is in “on” state, the unit will power on automatically, display
“JWD…”/ “Wait…” in turn, then enter main menu, namely working mode interface.

Then the “on”/ “off” state is controlled by “ ”, details as below:
Power off: Under “on” state, press and hold “ ” till it displays “BYEBYE” to power
off.
Power on: Under “off” state, press and hold button to power on, then it displays
“JWD”/ “Wait…” in turn, and then enter the previous working mode when power off last
time.
Note: under the state of pause or stop, if the unit is set up the time of automatic power off
under the power-saving mode, it will power off automatically when no any operation in
the time of automatic power off set up.
1.3 Working State and “One button REC/DV”
1.3.1 Working mode
It includes two working states, can be selected by dial “Video/Audio”; Under DVR mode,
there are 3 working modes: DVR/Music/Setting.
1.3.2 “One button REC/DV”
A) Under power-on state, dial “Video/Audio” to “Video”, then dial “STOP/DV&REC”
to “DV&REC”, the unit will enter video recording directly.
B) Under power-on state, dial “Video/Audio” to “Audio”, then dial “STOP/DV&REC”
to “DV&REC”, the unit will enter audio recording directly.

1) To start video or audio recording, if the unit is not in the state of stop, it will stop the
current job and then start recording automatically; if the unit is in the stop state, it will
start recording immediately.
2) Under non-recording state, it can carry out the shift between DVR and Video/Audio
by dial “Video/Audio”
3) Under non-recording state, if the button “Video/Audio” in “Audio” position, the unit
will work in DVR mode. Press and hold “M” to enter DVR selection modes:
DVR/Music/Setting, press or to select, press “M” to enter the mode chosen.
NOTE: 1) After switching “One button REC/DV”, it will display “A moment,
please….” don’t switch the “switch” button or other buttons, operate it later.
2) Don’t dial power supply button to OFF position directly, or it will cause the current
video/audio recording file cannot be save.
2. Video Recording
2.1 Start video-recording
Dial the button “Video/Audio” to “Video”, the unit will enter video recording state, dial
shortcut key “STOP/DV&REC” to “DV/REC”, it will enter video recording mode and
start video recording.
NOTE: 1) Don’t let the unit face strong sunlight, or it will damage the lens or freeze the

unit.
2) If the display shows “Disk full”, it indicates no enough space, please delete part of
files to release room.
3) If the display shows “Directory full”, it indicates too many files, please delete parts of
files in the directory to start video recording.
2.2 Blank screen protection during DV
Under Video mode, the screen shows the current Video file: press and hold “M” for 2s to
blank the screen; press and hold “M” for 2s again to open the screen show.
2.3 Save the video recording file
Dial “STOP/DV&REC” to “STOP”, the unit will save the current video recording file; it
will shift to the listing of the current video file after saved.
NOTE: The unit will save the video recording file by section; it will save the file
automatically after recoding 1.9GB file (around 1h); the video contents will generate
new file (like DV001-1) and the unit will continue working. There exist about 4s gap
between the previous and next file, please kindly note it.
2.4 .1 Playback video recording file
Press to playback the video recording file after saving it, press “STOP” to return the
main menu gradually.

2.4 .2 Playback video recording file via PC
Connect the unit with the open PC, open “My computer”, find and open the “Mobile
disk” then check the VIDEO folder, the content in this folder is the one you recorded,
double click one of the files to playback.
NOTE: The video recording file cannot be played if no video-seeing software installed.
2.5 Delete video recording files
In the listing interface of video recording files, press “M” to pop up delete menu
including “delete the current file”, “delete all the files”, press or to select, press
“M” to confirm. If select “YES” and press “M” to delete, if select “NO” and press “M”
to cancel the delete operation, press “STOP” to return the main menu gradually.
3. DVR
3.1 Start recording
Dial the button “Video/Audio” to “Audio”, the unit will enter DVR states: dial the button
“STOP/DV&REC” to “DV/REC”, the unit will enter DVR mode and start recording.
3.2 Pause recording
Under the recording state, press “ ” to pause recording; under the pause state, press
“ ” again to resume recording
