temperaturegaugemustbewithinthe
normalrange.Ifthepointerturnsto
theredzone,stopthecarimmediately,
stoptheengine,andopenthehoodto
checkthecoolantlevelandthewater
pumpdrivebelt.
Ifthecoolingsystemfailstowork
normally,contactthenearestJAC
authorizedafter-servicecentersprom
-ptlyforchecking.
Iftheenginegetsoverheated,do
notopenthewaterboxcover.Or,
thecoolantmaybepressuredout
andresultinscalds.Thewaterbox
covershallnotbeopenuntilthe
engineisfullycooleddown.

PleaseuseNo.93oraboveunlea

Thefuelgaugepointerindicatesthe
approximatefuelquantityinthefuel
tank.
Thisfuelgaugefunctionswhenthe
ignitionswitchison.Ifthefuelgauge
pointerpointstotheredzoneandits
alarmlampcomeson,refillthefuelat
gasstationsnearbyassoonas
possibletoensureanormaldrive.
Geardisplay
VehiclemodelsequippedwithAT
(automatictransmission)possessthe
geardisplayfunctionwhichseparately
displaysthefollowingcontent
accordingtoautomatic/manualmode:
inthecaseofautomaticmode:it
displays"P,R,NandD"gears
accordingtothepositionofshift
handle;inthecaseofmanualmode:it
displays"1,2,3and4"gearsaccording
tothetargetgearpositionforthe
gearbox.

Timesetting:(a)Switchtothe
accumulatedmileagedisplaymode;(b)
insuchamode,pressandholdthe
resetbuttonuntilthe"hourdigit"and
"minutedigit"flash.Atthistime,the
timesettingcanbegin;(c)Whenthe
"hourdigit"and"minutedigit"flash,
pressthebuttontosetthetime;(d)
Whenthetimesettingiscompleted,
thesystemwillautomaticallyquitthe
setmode.

WhentheignitionswitchisattheON

airbag(SRS)systemisready.
Whentheignitionswitchisatthe"ON"
positionorwhentheengineisstarted,
iftheairbag(SRS)indicatorlamp
remainsoff,orfailstogooffafter
flashingfor6secondsorcomeson
duringdriving,itmeansthattheairbag
(SRS)systemfunctionsabnormally.
ContactthenearestJACauthorized
after-servicecenterforchecking.
ABSalarmlamp
Whentheignitionswitchturnstothe"
ON"position,andiftheABSalarmlamp
remainsonafewsecondsandthen
goesout,itmeansthattheABS

Alarmlampandindicatorlamp
1.Odometer
Accumulatedmileage:Itmeansthe
accumulatedmileageofthedrived
distance.
Tripmileage:Itmeansashortmileage
withinatrip.
Thetwomileagedisplaymodescanbe
switchedbypressingtheresetbutton.
Whenintheaccumulatedmileage
mode,presstheresetbuttontoswitch
tothetripmileagedisplaymode.Press
andholdtheresetbuttontoresetthe
displayedvaluetozero.Pressthereset
buttonwillreturntotheaccumulated
mileagedisplaymode.
2.resetbutton
Theresetbuttonisusedtoswitch
odometermodes,adjustclocksetting
andreset.

IftheABSalarmlampremainson
orcomesonduringdriving,it
meansthattheABSsystemmay
failtowork.Avoidtheemergency
braking.ContactthenearestJAC
authorizedafter-servicecenterfor
checking.
Left/rightturnindicatorlamp
TheL/Rturnindicatorlampisusedto
determinewhethertheturnlightswork
normally.
Thegreenflasharrowonthe
instrumentboardisusedtodisplaythe
turningsignal.Ifthearrowremains
displayedanddoesnotflashorifits
flashfrequencyishighoritremains
off,itmeansthattheturningsignal
system goeswrong.Contactthe
nearestJACauthorizedafter-service
centerforrepair.
Highbeamindicatorlamp
Whentheheadlampswitchswitches
totheHighBeamposition,thehigh
beamlampwillcomeon.
Frontfoglamp
Whenthefrontfoglampison,the
indicatorlampgoeson.
Engineoilpressurealarmlamp
Whentheengineoilpressuredropsor
thesystemmalfunctionoccurs,the
engineoilpressurealarmlampwill
comeon.Normally,theengineoil
pressurealarmlampwillcomeon
whentheignitionswitchturnstothe
"ON"positionandgooutafterthe
engineisstarted.
Ifthealarmlampremainsonafterthe
engineisstartedorcomesonduring
driving,itmeansthattheengineoil
quantityisinsufficientorothermalfun
-ctionsoccur.Insuchcase,stopthe
carimmediatelyforoil quantity
checkingtoensurethedrivingsafety.
Iftheoillevelislow,addoiland
re-starttheengine.Ifthealarmlamp
remainsonafterenoughoilisadded,

indicatorlampgoeson.

andisundernormalworkingcondition.
WhentheABSalarmlampremainson
orcomesonduringdrivingorgoesout

systemgoeswrong.Atthistime,the
brakesystemworksnormally,butthe
ABSsystemfails.Contactthenearest

forchecking.

Whentheoilpressureisfartoo
low,stopthecartoavoidthe
enginebeingseverelydamaged.

Ifyoudeemthatthereisamalf
-unctioninthebrakesystem,
promptlycontacttheJACauthorized
after-servicecentersforchecking.
Itmaybehazardousandresultin
injuriestodriveyourcarifthebrake

Cruiseindicatorlamp(ifequipped)
Aconstantspeedcruisecontrol
systemwillbeactivatedandthecruise
indicatorlampontheinstrumentboard
willcomeonafterpressingthe
CRUISEcontrolswitch.Thecruise
systemwillbeswitchedoffwhenthe
cruisecontrolswitchisreset.Atthe
sametime,theconstantspeedcruise
controlfunctionwillbereleasedand
deactivated.Thecruiseindicatorlamp
ontheinstrumentboardwillgoout.
Chargingindicatorlamp
Thechargingindicatorlampwillcome
onwhentheignitionswitchturnsto
the"ON"positionandgooutwhenthe
engineisstarted.Theindicatorlamp
remainsonwhentheengineisrunning,
itmeansthatthechargingsystemfails.
Promptlycontact thenearestJAC
authorizedafter-servicecenterfor
checking.Insuchcase,drivingwith

occurringafter addingaproper
quantityofbrakeoilmeetingDOT4
specifications,promptlystartyourcar
anddrivecarefullytothenearestJAC
authorized after-service centerfor
checking.Ifthealarmlampremainson
butthereareothermalfunctions,do
notstartyourcar.Useaspecialtrailer
orothersafetymethodstotowyour
cartothenearestJACauthorized

Brakesystemmalfunction
alarmlamp
Whentheignitionswitchturnstothe
ONorSTARTposition,thealarmlamp
willcomeon.Itwillgooutwhenthe
engineisstaredandtheparkingbrake
isreleased.
Ifthealarmlampcomesonatother
moment,slowdownthecaranddrive
yourcartoasafeplaceandstopit.
Iftheoillevelinthebrakemaster
cylinderislow,thealarmlampwill
comeon.Ifthealarmlampgoesout
andtherearenoothermalfunctions

Doorajarindicatorlamp
Theindicatorlampfunctionsasa
remainderdeviceshowingwhethercar
doorsareclosed.Ifthedoorsareopen
ornotfullyclosed,theindicatorlamp
willcomeon.
Safetybeltindicatorlamp
WhentheignitionkeyturnsfromOFF
toONortoSTARTposition,thesafety
beltindicatorlampwillcomeon.Itwill
gooutaftertheengineisstartedandit
issufficientlybuckled.
Fuelalarmlamp
Whentheleveloffueltankislow,the
fuelalarmlampwillcomeon.Insuch
case,addfuelassoonaspossible.
Drivingyourcarwillleadtoanengine
flameoutanddamageof catalytic
converterwhenthefuelalarmlampis
onorthefuellevelislowerthanthe"E"
position.
Enginemalfunctionindicatorlamp
Theenginemalfunctionindicatorlamp
isanintegralpartoftheon-board
diagnosissystemandusedtomonitor
enginemalfunctions.The indicator
lampwillcomeonwhentheignition
switchturnsto"ON"andgooutwhen
theengineisoff.
Iftheindicatorlampcomesonduring
drivingorremainsoffwhenturningto
ON,promptlycontactthenearestJAC
authorizedafter-servicecenterfor
checking.
Emissionmalfunctionalarm
lamp
Theemissionmalfunctionindicatorlamp
isanintegralpartoftheon-board
diagnosissystemandusedtomonitor
theemissionsystem.Thealarmlamp
willcomewhenthemalfunctionsof
theemissionsystemoritscompon
-entsleadtoundesirableresults.
Thealarmlampwillcomeonwhenthe
ignitionswitchturnsto"ON"andgoout
whentheengineisstarted.Ifthealarm
lampremainsonwhen drivingor
remainsoffwhentheignitionswitch
turnstoON,promptlycontactthe
nearestJACauthorizedafter-service
centerforchecking.
