Getting Started
Thank you for choosing the Jarv Active Fit +HR
Fitness Tracker Activity Band.
Please take the time to read this manual carefully,
even if you are already familiar with a similar product.
This product is compatible with
• iOS devices 7.1 & above
• Android devices 4.4 & above
What’s in this document
This manual gets you started on getting your tracker
on your wrist then setting it up. Setup ensures that
your tracker can synchronize its data with the VeryFit
app where you can get detailed information on your
stats, view historical data, and much more.

Putting on your Jarv Active Fit +HR
Activity Band
Your Jarv Active Fit +HR Activity Band has an
adjustable wristband. Attach your Jarv Active Fit +HR
Band to your wrist with the screen facing up and the
band wrapped around your wrist. Adjust the size to
find the best and most optimal fit.
Powering on your Jarv Active Fit +HR
Activity Band
Short press the side button of the band to power on
the watch.
Charging your Jarv Active Fit +HR
Activity Band
Your Jarv Active Fit +HR Activity Band comes with a
built-in rechargeable battery and a charging cable.
Charge fully before use. Plug the USB connector to
either a PC or power adaptor and take the other end
of the charging cable and clamp it to the back 3 point
position of the fitness band as shown on page 5.
*Please make sure that the charging contacts are
properly aligned and that the battery meter appears
on the display to confirm that your band is charging.
If the battery meter does not appear, please make

sure the contacts are properly aligned and short
press the side button of the band to make sure it is
powered on.
To save power, the battery meter will disappear from
the screen after a few seconds – just press the side
button to confirm that it is still charging. The battery
meter will be displayed as full once charging is
complete.

1-Download and Install the “VeryFit for Heart Rate”
App
Setting up your Jarv Active Fit +HR
Activity Band
The Jarv Active Fit +HR Activity
Band needs to pair with your device
through the app. Make sure your
Jarv Active Fit +HR Activity Band is
compatible with your mobile device
BEFORE installing the App.
Supported Devices are Android 4.4 or above and iOS
7.1 or above devices
Steps to download the App:
Scan the QR code on page 7 and download the app
OR search the App “VeryFit for heart rate” from the
Google Play or Apple App Store and download it on
your smartphone.

2-Set-Up your Jarv Active Fit +HR Activity Band
Once the app is installed, open it to get started. You
will be guided through the process of connecting
(pairing) your Active Fit +HR Activity Band to your
mobile device and creating a personalized account.
Pairing makes sure the tracker and mobile device
can communicate with one another (sync their
data).The personal information you are asked during
setup is used to calculate your basal metabolic rate
(BMR), which helps determine your estimated calorie
expenditure.
After setup you’re ready to get moving.

Pairing your device
Once you open the installed App, you will be
prompted to pair your device. Please make sure your
Bluetooth function on your device is ON and that your
Jarv Active Fit +HR Activity Band is Powered ON
(Short Press the side button to power on) and fully
charged (Refer to Charging your device instruction).
Select “Active Fit HR” from the list of available
devices to complete the connection.

Creating an account
Proceed to enter all the requested personal
information to create an account.

App interfaces
MAIN PAGE
Once the App is connected successfully to your
device, it will record and analyze your activities and
sleep status.

Main Page Features:
1-Select the Activity Interface to view data on your
daily activities such as Calorie expenditure, Distance
traveled, Steps taken and Activity duration.
2-Select the Sleep Interface to view data on your
sleep duration and quality. Your activity band
automatically recognizes your status and monitors
your sleep progress and analyzes the deep sleep and
light sleep hours.
3-Select the Heart Rate Interface to view data on
your average and resting heart rate and peak
activities and duration.
For all interfaces you can share your data with others
via text and social media. The Sharing link is located
on the top left of the interface page. To display your
up-to-date data, pull down on the interface page to
refresh/sync the data. When pressing on the
interface page, you will be able to switch between
data and view a chart of your progress.
DETAILS PAGE:
The Details page is a snapshot of your daily activities,
sleep pattern and heart rate data. The data can be
displayed in weeks, months and year by clicking on
the calendar icon on the top left of the App page.

DEVICE PAGE:
On the Device page, you will able to set-up your
notifications such as call, sedentary, alarm, and
text/social media messaging alerts. You will also be
able to customize your heart rate zone, take pictures
remotely from the App by either wrist gesture or by
pressing on the side button of the band.
There is also an Anti-Lost alert which notifies you
using a gentle vibration if your phone is out of the
Bluetooth range. The Find Phone alert allows you to
sound an alarm to detect your phones location, this
function is used directly from your activity band.
The Device page also provides firmware and battery
information on your Jarv Active Fit +HR Activity Band,
and allows you to update the device firmware if
necessary.
USERS PAGE:
On this page you will be able to set-up or modify your
target settings such as steps and sleep goals, modify
your personal information, update the system
settings such as your metric preferences, restart
your device, connect to Apple Health and more.

Note: “Alarm Mode” and “Find phone Mode” will only
be displayed on the device screen after this function
is turned ON in the App
Standby Mode: Long press the side button of the
band for 8-10 seconds to enter Standby mode and
preserve battery life.
Sports Mode Data
Under Normal Mode, long press the side button for
2-3 seconds to enter Sport Mode data which displays
the latest sports data then switch between the
different modes as listed below by short pressing the
side button

Sports Mode
Under Sports Mode data, double press the side
button of the band to start a workout/ new activity and
display information including duration, steps taken,
calories burned and distance traveled during the
workout. Short press the side button on the band to
display the different modes as listed below

FAQ
Pairing issues?
1. Please make sure that your Bluetooth function on
your device is turned ON and that your device is a
supported model - OS Android 4.3 & above and iOS
7.1 & above.
2. Please make sure the distance between your
phone and device is no more than 1ft. while pairing.
3. Please make sure the device is fully charged.
If the problem still persists, please contact us for
further troubleshooting.
Can’t connect the device with the app?
• Please turn off and ON your Bluetooth function
and/or Power Cycle (Restart) your device.
• Delete the app and reinstall it.
How to restore band to Factory Settings
Make sure the device is connected to the App, Go in
the app, Click on User Interface, and select System
Setting -> Restart Device, you will be prompted to
Confirm Reboot of the device.
How to update the device
Make sure the device is connected to the App, Go in
the app and Select Device Interface and scroll down
to Device Upgrade. You will be prompted to Pair your
device if it is not already paired. Please wait a few
minutes for the update to be complete.

1. To prevent fire or shock hazard, do not expose this
unit to excessive moisture or water.
2. Do not place this unit directly onto furniture
surfaces with any type of soft, porous, or sensitive
finish.
3. Lithium batteries, like all rechargeable batteries
are recyclable and should be recycled or disposed of
in normal household waste. Contact your local
government for disposal or recycling practices in
your area. They should be incinerated since they
might explode.
4. This device is rated IP57 which means it is
water-resistant and is able to protect against water
jets/water splashing but cannot withstand
immersion in water or long exposure to water such
as a shower or swimming.
Care and Maintenance
Please do not use any corrosive chemical to clean the
device, use a soft cleaning cloth for the tracker and
some mild soap and water for the band. If your Jarv
Active Fit +HR Activity Band does get wet please dry
it thoroughly before putting it back on.
NOTE: This device uses an internal rechargeable
lithium-ion battery that should last the lifetime of the
device. If you suspect your battery may be dead after
several attempts to charge, please visit
www.jarvmobile.com for support.
Never disassemble the unit as that could cause
leakage of an electrolyte substance
