Shock
Mounts
The Silver Bullet + Vacuum Pump is shipped
in a single carton which includes the follow-
ing:
1. Vacuum Pump Unit
2. 6-Foot Pressure Hose
3. Accessory kit:
a. Shock mounts with nuts
b. optional pressure fitting
c. Silencer
Important:
There are four pump models. Check the serial plate
for proper operating voltage before connecting the
power.
Refer to Figure 2 and setup the Silver Bullet as follows:
1. Shock Mounts Installation. Install each shock mount by holding the supplied nut at the
corresponding foot mounting screw hole. Screw the mount into the nut.
2. Silencer Installation. Install the silencer into the threaded EX port of the vacuum
pump. Tighten snugly by hand.
3. Hose Connection. Connect the threaded hose fitting into the threaded IN port of the
vacuum pump. Tighten snugly with a 9/16-inch wrench.
Note: The pressure fitting is only used if required for equipment connection.
4. Pressure Fitting Installation. If necessary, install pressure fitting to the hose by perform-
ing the following steps.
a. Slide the hose clamp onto the hose assembly.
b. Assemble the fitting by sliding the threaded connector coupler onto the barbed fitting with the
internal thread facing toward the outer (ball) end of the fitting.
c. Press the barbed fitting into the hose and tighten hose clamp.
