1. Product Overview
The N9 Small law enforcement recorder is a
professional mini-type body camera with new
released by our company. This product can
restore the video of the law enforcement,
photos,audio, etc,.This product has stable
performance, excellent quality, small size,
more ergonomic design, easy operation, and
easy to carry.
It is widely used in the areas of law
enforcement such as public security, police
officer; urban management etc., and can also be
used for forensics in pro-curatorial industrial
and commercial, taxation, customs, maritime,
health, environmental protection,outdoor etc.

3. Basic Operation
3.1 Power/Screen On/Off Button
1Long press "Power" Button to turn on/off camera;
2Short press " Power" Button to turn on/off LCD
screen when camera is on.
3.2 Video Record Button
(1) ln Power off statue, Long Press 10.”Recording"
to start the record directly at Emergency situations. The
red indicator light will flash slowly. Press the
"Record" button once again to save the currently
recorded file and return to standby.
(2) In Standby Mode: Press the "Record" button to start
recording, and then press the record button to save the
recording.
3.3 Photo Button / Night Vision Button
①.Short press "Photo " Button to take a photo when in
standby mode; Short press to take a single snapshot
image while in video recording status.Please note there
is no any sign to remind photo is taken successfully. As
long as you press the "Photo " Button, then the images is
saved.
(2). Short press "Down " Button to turn on/off IR night
vision light

3.4 Audio Recording Button
①In standby mode: Short press "Audio " Button to
start recording audio,short press again to stop recording
and save the audio file.
(2) In power off status : long press "Audio " Button for 3
seconds to boot the camera and it will automatically
record a piece of audio, short press again to stop
recording and save the audio file.
3.5 Motion Detection
In the menu, there is a (motion detection) option, this
function means that someone or some object moves in
front of the camera, it will automatically record, if the
people or object disappears, it will automatically stop
recording, this Function can save memory and power;
and it needs to be used within 1 meters from objects.
3.6 Car Record
In vehicle mode, there is a (vehicle mode) option in the
menu, which means that the video can be recorded as
soon as the camera is power on. This function can be
turned on when the driving. Please note do not to turn
on this function while charging! Or the camera can' t
charge fully.

3.7 Video Fragment
As camera has an automatic saving function, the
recorded video is saved in segments, can set to 3
minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 20 minutes,
30 minutes, we advise to set max 15min, the longer you
set, the danger of losing the video you have.
3.8 Sound Record
In the menu, there is a sound record option. If it is
turned on, the recorded video will be synchronized with
the recording. If it is off it will not record audio when
record videos.
3.9 Stealth Mode
In the menu,there is a (stealth mode) option in the menu,
which means that the indicator does not flash when
recording, and no any button sound. This mode is used
for hidden recording.
3.10 Machine ID and Police ID
In the menu,there is a (Machine ID and Police ID)
option : You can edit the machine number and police
officer number in the camera. The bottom left comer of
the screen is the data number; the front 5 numbers are
the machine number; and the back 6numbers are the
police number; which can be edited by yourself.

3.11 Change the Password
In the menu setting, you can set the password to protect
your files, the videos can still be transferred to a PC or
Laptop with need password. In case it gets stolen by law
enforcement.The default password is "000000"
3.12 Playback Mode
In the camera standby mode, press the OK button to
enter the playback menu,selecting video, picture, audio,
you can press the up and down button to select different
options for playback.
3.13 Reset Function
When the camera stops responding due to accidental
improper operation or other special reasons, you can use
a sharp object (such as a curved needle, etc.) to press the
reset button slightly (a small hole on the side of the USB)
to restart and reset;
3.14 Delete the files
In the playback menu interface, long press the menu key,
you can delete selectively.
3.15 Red-Blue Light Flashing Warning
In standby mode, long press" Up" button to turn on/off
this function

4. File Management
(1) With the power on, connect the device to the
computer with a USB cable;
(2) This camera is drive-free and compatible with
Windows98 / 2000/XP/Vista/W7/W8/W10
1The photo and video files are located in the DCIM
folder
2The recording file is located in the WAV folder
5. Indicator Introduction
(1) Red light flashes: Recording.
(2) Green light flashes: Audio.
(3) Steady green light: Standby mode.
(4)Steady red light: Charging, the red light is off when it
is fully charged.
6. Format SD Card
In standby mode:Long press the "Photo" button ALL
THE TIME, and then press "power" button, the camera
screen will show" SD CARD FORMAT IS
PRECESSING" and it will show" Format sd card
complete" is successfully.
