R50 Operating Instructions
①R50 Power on/off
To Power on : Press the Power button ( ) on the back of R50 speaker and hold for 2sec.
Release power button after R50 speaker emits a tone and the blue LED has come on.
To Power off : Press the power button ( ) on the back of R50 speaker and hold for 3sec.
The R50 speaker power will turn off after a beep has sounded.
②Bluetooth Pairing
R50 speaker must be turned off before pairing commences.
To continue, press the power button ( ) and hold for 6sec. The R50 speaker power will turn
on and it will enter Bluetooth pairing mode. The blue LED light will blink quickly to show the
speaker is discoverable.
On your device, turn Bluetooth on, locate the Bluetooth device list, and select the device
named "JSD R50".
When pairing is complete and your device is connected to the speaker, the Bluetooth pairing
indicator on the speaker changes from blinking blue to continuous blue and R50 speaker will
emit a beep.
Reconnecting a device automatically
When a previously paired device is next turned on, the R50 will attempt to reconnect to the
last connected device (the R50 speaker can remember up to eight paired devices).
It automatically starts with the most recently used and continues until connection is achieved.

Bluetooth range of paired devices
R50 normally has a Bluetooth wireless range of about 10 meters. It will be disconnected if
the connected device is not within the range. The wireless Bluetooth range of 10 meters can
be shortened by obstacles. A disconnected device will be reconnected automatically within 5
minutes when it is back within the transmission range.
③Volume Button function / Music play function
Volume Down : Press ( -) button and hold to decrease the volume.
Volume Up : Press ( +) and hold to increase the volume.
Previous Track : Press ( -) once to go to previous track.
Next Track : Press ( +) once to go to next track.
Play/Pause : Press Power button( ) once to control Play/Pause function .
④Call function / Speakerphone
R50 offers an integrated Microphone which can be used as speakerphone.
You can simply press call button( ) once on back of R50 to transfer the phone call when the
smartphone is connected with the R50.

Call function
Redial : Press call button( ) twice quickly to redial.
Receiving call : Press Call button ( ) once quickly to receive.
To end the call : Press call button( ) once quickly to end.
⑤To use the AUX IN connector
Plug the 3.5mm audio cable from your audio device into the AUX IN connector on the back
of the R50 speaker.
⑥Reset button
Press and hold Reset button for 3 sec to erase all memories of previously connected devices.

⑦Charging the battery
The Red LED light will turn on when the battery needs charging. Please recharge
immediately. To charge the R50 battery, connect R50 to Micro-USB cable. Connect to the
back of the R50 USB port the AC power adapter with the Micro-USB cable that comes with
the R50 product. Recommended charging time is three (3) hours to fully charge the battery.
The Red LED on the front of the R50 (battery status indicator) indicates charging is in
progress. The Red LED will turn off when the R50 is fully charged.

Operating time on battery power : In typical usage, battery lasts about seven (7) hours.
(Battery performance varies with the content played and the volume setting).

(dashboard or inside of vehicle), radiators, electric blanket or other apparatus that
produce heat.
•Do not place/expose this product in very high or too low room temperatures.
•Do not place/use this product on dusty or dirty places.
•Do not expose/use this product near water, wet places or by wet hands.
•Please keep this product out of the reach of children and pets.
•This product may cause unwanted interference near antennas or transmitters, such as
WiFi routers, Microwaves.
•Please do not make unauthorized modifications or, alterations to the system or
accessories on your own.
•Changes or modifications to this product, not expressly approved by Jimmy Studio
Design, could void warranty. To avoid the risk of fire or electrical shock, please do not
make any holes in the battery pack or Speaker by drills or pins.
•The Speaker stand is made of heavy metal to reduce the vibration of the speaker when it
is in use. Please be careful not to drop or throw the speaker stand, as it could cause an
injury or damage to the floor.
