FEATURES & CONTROLS:
To assemble the unit onto the wall, do the following steps:-
1. If the main unit stand is attached, pull in the buckle at the bottom (Fig.A), and according to the
direction of the arrow illustrated above, to remove the base bracket.
2. Fix two screws (not included) into the wall horizontally. The distance between the two screws
should be spaced at 160mm.
3. Do not place the nails fully in, leave a gap of about 5mm to slide the unit on.
4. Open the wall spaces on the back of the main unit (Fig.B).

ASSEMBLY DRAWING OF THE UNIT:

AC operation
When the radio is connected to AC power for the first time it will be in standby mode, once you turn
the switch on the left side of the unit to “ON”. The display backlight and red light standby light be
displayed.
Clock setting
The clock will be automatically synchronized to the DAB clock if you can receive DAB signals in your
location . If you can only receive FM, then you have to set the clock manually. The manual clock
setting must be done in standby mode.
Manual clock setting
1. When the unit is first connected to the AC mains outlet, it will be in standby mode, and the
display will show “- - : - -” and flash.
2. During standby, press and hold the ID3/MEM/C-ADJ. button on the unit (or remote control) for
at least 2 seconds, once you release the button, the hour digits flash in the display, press the
SKIP/TUNE SEARCH (UP or DOWN) button on the unit main or the remote control to set to the
correct hour, then press the ID3/MEM/C-ADJ. button on the remote control again to confirm.
3. Once the hours are confirmed, the minutes will flash, press the SKIP/TUNE SEARCH (UP or
DOWN) button (or remote control) to set to the correct minute.
4. When the display shows the correct time, press the ID3/MEM/C-ADJ. button on the remote
control again to confirm, the manual clock setting is now completed.
Synchronize the clock to DAB local time
1. Press the STANDBY/ON button on the unit (or remote control) once to switch the unit on.
2. Touch the FM/DAB/AUX touch plate on the unit (or remote control) to select DAB mode.
3. Tune to a DAB station and the clock will be automatically synchronized to the DAB local time.
Press the STANDBY/ON button on the unit (or remote control) to turn the radio on, the display will
show “Welcome to Digital Radio”, then it will automatically enter into the DAB/DAB+ mode and
perform a full scan function.
During the scan the display will show “Searching..” together with a slide bar that indicates the
progress of the scan and the amount of stations that have been found so far. (F.1)(F.2)(F.3)
Note: When the main unit power is off in DAB/FM/iPod /CD/USB/CARD/AUX mode, it will switch to
corresponding mode after restart again.
Once the scan has finished the radio will select the first alphanumerically found station. Press the
SKIP/TUNE SEARCH(UP or DOWN) button to explore the found stations.

Timer setting (on the remote control)
This function allows you to switch on and off the system at your desired time and mode:
1. Press the Timer button on the remote control to toggle the timer function between on and off,
the display show “timer on” or Timer off”. The display show “ “ to indicate timer function.
2. To set the on timer clock, press and hold the Timer button on the remote control until the
display shows “on Timer” and the “ “ hour digit of the timer clock will flash.
3. Press the SKIP.TUNE SEARCH (UP or DOWN) button on the remote control to set to the desired
hour, then press the TIMER button n the remote control to confirm, first set the hour and finally
the minute, the on timer clock is set.
4. Once the On timer is set, you will enter the “timer Off” clock setting with the hour digits
flashing. Apply same steps as above to set the timer off.
5. Once the timer off has been set you will be entered into the timer on mode, you can select
which mode your timer on will come onto, press SKIP.TUNE SEARCH (UP or DOWN) to select one
of the following modes:- FM, CD, iPod, USB, CARD or DAB. Press the TIMER button to confirm.
6. Once this stage is completed you will be entered into the volume choice. Adjust the timer
volume high or low by pressing the SKIP.TUNE SEARCH (UP or DOWN) button. Press the timer
button to confirm.
7. To check the timer settings, repeatedly press the ID3/MEM/C-ADJ. button in standby mode on
the remote control or the main unit.
Sleep function
This function allows you to program the system to switch off itself after a set period of time. You can
set your sleep time in power on mode:
1. To activate the sleep function, press the SLEEP button on the remote, the display will show
“SLEEP-90” and flash.
2. Repeatedly press the SLEEP button to select the sleep time, it will change in sequence on every
press in intervals of 10:
3. When the display shows your desired sleep time, release the button, the sleep timer will all flash
when it is activated.
4. The display will show “ S#” in the top right corner display (replacing the seconds on the clock).
“S1” is to indicate “10minutes” sleep time and so on. Then the sleep time counts to zero, the
unit will go off.
5. To cancel sleep, press the SLEEP button once again, the display will show “SLEEP-OFF” and the
“S#” will disappear.

DAB auto scan
Full scan will search for all DAB/DAB+ Band III channels. After the scan has finished, the first
alphanumerically found station will be automatically selected, to activate the auto scan do the
following:
1. To activate the full scan, touch the “PLAY/PAUSE/SCAN” on the
unit (or the remote control), to enter the “full scan” mode.
2. Press the SELECT/MO./ST. on the remote to confirm, the display
will show “autotune Fullscan” (F4)
3. Once this is selected a progressing slide bar and “Searching…” will
be displayed.
4. All the stations that have been found, will be stored
automatically, to explore the stations that have been found, press
the SKIP.TUNE SEARCH (UP or DOWN) buttons for selection.
DAB manual tune
1. To select manual tune, press and hold the SELECT/MO./ST. button on the remote to enter into
the “Manual tune” mode.
2. Press the SKIP/TUNE SEARCH (UP or DOWN) Buttons to move through the DAB/DAB+ channels,
the display will show “5A to 13F” and their associated frequencies.
3. When your desired frequency appears in the display. Press the SELECT /MONO.ST. button to
confirm, it will now start searching the chosen multiplex.
4. Press the SKIP.TUNE SEARCH (UP or DOWN) buttons to see what stations are present on the
found ensemble/multiplex, when you have located your desired station, press the select button,
and at the same time, you will also exit from manual tuning mode.
DAB SETUP:
DAB secondary services
On some occasions you will see a “>” symbol directly after the name of the station, this indicates
that there may be secondary services available to that station. The secondary services contain extra
services that relate to the primary station E.g. a sports station may want to add extra commentaries.
The secondary services are inserted directly after primary station,. To select the secondary station,
press the SELECT/MONO/ST. button on the remote control when the “>” appears in the display.
Note: Even if the “>” symbol is shown , secondary services may not always be transmitted.

FM Radio
1. To select FM, touch the DAB/FM/AUX touch plate on the unit (or the remote control), the
display will show FM and the frequency.
2. To activate auto search, press & hold the SKIP/TUNE SEARCH (UP or DOWN) on the unit (or the
remote) or touch the PLAY/PAUSE/SCAN touch plate on the unit (or remote control) until it
starts to scan down or up the frequency band: It will stop automatically once station has been
found.
3. You can also manually search for a frequency, press the SKIP/TUNE SEARCH (UP or DOWN)
buttons to select your desired frequency.
4. Press the SELECT/MONO.ST. button on the unit (or remote control) to toggle select between
5. FM “STEREO” or “MONO” reception.
Note: the radio will automatically switch between stereo & mono mode, but you can override this &
switch this function manually which is helpful for poor signal reception
Storing and recalling stored stations
In either DAB/DAB+ or FM mode, you can store up to 30 stations on preset, this will enable you to
direct access to favourite stations.
1. To store a preset, first tune to desired station, then press and the ID3/MEM/C-ADJ. button on
the unit (or remote control) , the display will show “preset empty #” and the “#” will flash.
2. Press the SKIP/TUNE SEARCH(UP or DOWN) button to select your desired preset number and
then press ID3/MEM/C-ADJ. button to confirm your selection. The display will show “Preset#
Stored”. (F.5)
3. To recall a preset station, press the ID3/MEM/C-ADJ. button once, then press the SKIP/TUNE
SEARCH(UP or DOWN) button to select the stations that you have stored, then press the
ID3/MEM/C-ADJ. button on the unit (or remote control) to confirm your selection.
Note: the stored stations will be saved into its memory and power off will not erase it. Storing a
new station into a preset location will erase the previously stored station in that location.
During the standby mode, touch and hold the stop/MENU/INFO touch plate to erase all preset
memory.

Auto(Mono)
FM Stereo and FM Mono
Time and Date
The time and date is automatically updated by
the broadcasted information. In an unlikely
event no clock information is received. The
display will show “<TIME/DATE>”.
Frequency
The frequency of the present station will be
displayed
Audio bit rate
The display will show the digital audio bit rate
being received.
Signal strength
The display will show a slide bar to indicate the
signal strength.
DLS
DLS stands for Dynamic label Segment which is a
scrolling message that the broadcaster may
include in there transmissions. The message
usually includes info. Such as programme
details… etc.
Programme type
This describes the style of the programme that is
being broadcast. If the information is not
available, the display will show “<Programme
type>”
Ensemble/Multiplex (group name)
The ensemble/multiplex is a collection of radio
stations that are bundled and transmitted
together in a single frequency. There are
national and local multiplexes.

CD/MP3/WMA setup
1. Touch the CD/iPod/USB/CARD touch plate on the unit (or remote control) to select CD/MP3
mode. The unit will then read the CD/MP3 WMA disc.
2. The disc can also be read automatically by pressing the CD DOOR OPEN/CLOSE button on the
unit (or remote control).
3. Once either method has been taken, place the Disc in the unit when you have opened the CD
door via the OPEN/CLOSE button. (F6)
4. Press the CD OPEN/CLOSE button to close the CD door.
Playing the CD/MP3/WMA
1. Insert the CD disc into the CD compartment, the main unit will automatically read the total
number of the folders and track at the same time. The unit will play the first track of the
CD/MP3/WMA disc automatically. (F7)
2. Touch the PLAY/PAUSE/SCAN touch plate once again, the time elapsed indicator will flash. (F8
3. Press the SKIP/TUNE SEARCH (UP or DOWN) button once to change Track No., press and hold
the SKIP/TUNE SEARCH (UP or DOWN) button to skip fast forward or backward of each song.
4. Touch PLAY/PAUSE SCAN (or remote control) touch plate once more to resume playback. To
stop the track touch the STOP/MENU/INFO touch plate.
Playing MP3/WMA
1. To change the ALBUM No., press the FOLDER/ARROW (UP or DOWN) button on the remote
control once.
2. To stop playback, Touch the STOP/MENU/INFO touch plate once on the unit (or remote control).
Note:
1. this unit can play CD, CD-R, CD-RW, MP3 and WMA discs. It can also play the “8cm” and “multi
Section” of MP3 DISC>
2. The playback Transfer Bit rate in MP3 is 32-320kbps and WAM is 64-320kbps.
3. The “Max Readable 99 folders and 999tracks. If no disc or can not read the TCO. “NO DISC” will be
display.
4. If the main unit is not working properly, disconnect the power source and then reconnect it again.
CD/MP3/WMA OPERATION:

Repeat function
1. Press the REPEAT button once, REP-1 is displayed. It will play the current track repeatedly.
2. Press the REPEAT button twice, REP-ALL is displayed, It will play all tracks repeatedly on the CD
or current folder.
3. Press the REPEAT button three times and the REP-FOLDER is displayed for MP3/WMA USB/SD
CARD, it will play all tracks in the current folder repeatedly. REPEAT function will be off for the
CD.
4. Press the REPEAT once more again, the REPEAT function will be off for MP3/MA/USB/SD CARD.
Program function
You can program up to 32 tracks in CD mode or 64 tracks in MP3/WMA/USB/SD card mode in any
desired order. Program mode is activated while in stop mode.
Setting program function:
-CD
1. Press the ID3/MEM/C-ADJ. button on the remote control, shift to MEMORY mode.
2. Press the SKIP/TUNE SEARCH (UP or DOWN) button on the unit (or remote control), the track
number will be changed.
3. Press the ID3/MEM/C-ADJ. button on the remote control to confirm the track number.
-MP3/WMA
1. Press the ID3/MEM/C-ADJ. button on the remote control, shift to MEMORY mode. The album
number is flashing.
2. Press the FOLDER/ARROW (UP or DOWN) button on the remote control, the album number will
be changed.
3. Press the ID3/MEM/C-ADJ. button on the remote control. The first track number will be
displayed.
4. Press the SKIP/TUNE SEARCH (UP or DOWN) button on the unit (or remote control), the track
number will be changed.
5. Press the ID3/MEM/C-ADJ. button on the remote control to confirm the track number.
Play/Cancel program
•To play the program, touch the PLAY/PAUSE/SCAN touch plate on the unit (or remote control).
Once all tracks have played the unit display will show number of tracks and playing time of the
CD/MP3/WMA songs.
•Touch the STOP/MENU/INFO touch plate on the unit (or remote control) twice, or open the CD
tray door and close it again to erase the program. Setting a new program will also erase and
overwrite existing program.

iPhone/iPod setup:
1. Press the iPod/iPhone door on the unit to open, then push it downward until it clicks in place..
2. Insert the iPhone/iPod into the dock housing.
3. Touch the CD/iPod/USB Card touch plate on the unit (or remote control) to the iPod mode, the
iPod indicator will appear on the main unit display once the correct source is selected.
4. Touch the PLAY/PAUSE/SCAN touch player on the unit (or remote control) once to play the
current track.
5. Adjust the volume control by pressing the VOLUME (+ or -) button on the unit.
6. Touch the PLAY/PAUSE/SCAN touch plate on the unit once to pause the current track.
7. To skip forwards or backwards, press the SKIP/TUNE SEARCH(UP or DOWN) button the unit to
select desired track.
Note: when the iPod/iPhone screen has been locked, above operations are still available. Normal
functions via the iPhone/iPod can still operate and play through the unit.
To avoid damage the iPhone/iPod, please make sure the unit is in standby mode when you insert
and take out.
iPod/iPhone Menu mode:
Note:iPod touch/iPhone series will need to be manually put into the music menu first before
proceeding into the next set of operations.
1. During the unit in iPod mode, touch the STOP/MENU/INFO touch plate on the unit (or remote
control) once, the unit will enter into the iPod/iPhone MENU mode.
2. Press the FOLDER/ARROW (UP or DOWN) button on the remote control to search through the
menus/folders.
3. Press the SELECT/MONO/ST. button on the unit (or remote control) to enter into the desired
folders.
4. IG you want to return the iPod/iPhone menu, touch the STOP/MENU/INFO touch plate on the
unit (or remote control) again.
Charging the iPod/iPhone player through the unit:
You can charge the iPod/iPhone player through the main unit automatically under STANDBY or
POWER ON mode.
Notes:
•The iPod/iPhone player battery will charge about 80 percent in about an hour, if you charge
whilst playing music, it may take longer.
•iPod/iPhone player must be fixed or removed in the STANDBY mode to avoid damage to the unit
or iPod/iPhone player.
•If the video function is not working correctly, update the latest version of the iPod/iPhone
function from the apple web-site.

USB/SD card setup
1. Insert the USB DEVICE or SD/MMC CARD, and the press the STANDBY/ON button the unit (or
remote control) to power “ON” the unit.
2. Touch the CD/iPod/USB CARD touch plate on the unit (or remote control) to select the USB or
SD CARD mode. The main unit will automatically read the total number of folders and tracks at
the same time. (F#,F#)
3. If the USB memory device has more than one folder:
•Press the FOLDER/ARROW (UP or DOWN) button on the remote control to search through the
Folders.
•Press the SKIP/TUNE SEARCH (UP or DOWN) button on the unit (or remote control) to select
current track in the desired folder.
Note:
•This unit can support most USB DEVICE AND SD/MMC/SDHC cards (up to 32GB memory capacity
for SDHC). It cannot access (or, need longer time to access)those devices with big memory
capacities.
•The main unit does not support WMA files which are protected by “DRM FILE”. It supports USB
versions 1.1 and 2.0.vDoes not support “dual voltage-MMC” or “MMC-PLUS” cards.
Playing flash disc
1. Playback will start by touching the PLAY.PAUSE/SCAN touch plate on the unit (or remote control)
once. Playback starts with the first track. The display shows the current track number and its
elapsed time.
2. To interrupt playback, touch the PLAY/PAUSE/SCAN touch plate again. The time elapsed
indicator will flash.
3. To resume playback touch the PLAY/PAUSE/SCAN touch plate once more. To stop the playback
touch the STOP/MENU/INFO touch plate.
Note: USB DEVICE or SD CARD must be fixed or removed in the STANDBY mode to avoid damage to
the unit or DEVICE/CARD.

AUX IN play
The AUX input is located at the !"# of the unit. Use a 3.5mm stereo jack cable to connect the audio
device/equipment thourgh the LINE IN jack.
1. To select the AUX input fun$%on, repeatedly touch the DAB/FM/AUX touch playe on the unit (or
remote control) un%lthe AUX is indicated on the the display.
2. Touch the VOLUME (+ or -) touch plate on the unit (or remote control) to adjust the sound
output level.

EQ control (on the remote control)
When you press the EQ bu&on, the sound tone changes as below:

Press the MUTE bu&on on the remote control to stop the sound from the speakers temporarily,
when the sound stops the display will show “MUTE”. To cancel mute, press the MUTE bu&on again
or touch the VOLUME(+/-) touch plate, “MUTE” will disappear from the display and the sound will
be restored.

HEADPHONE jack
A stereo headphone jack is provided for private listening. To listen to the unit with headphones (not
included) insert the 3.5mm mini-stereo plug from the headphones into the PHONES jack o the front
panel. The external speakers are automa%cally disconnect when headphones are plugged in.

To release the compartment cover, loosen the screw(Fig.1), compress the latch (Fig.2) and slide
the cover out of the remote in the d'("$%on given (Fig.3).
Remove and/or place the CR2032 b)&ery in the remote control
according to the polarity markings (“+” and “-”) inside the
compartment and on the b)&ery.
Place the cover into the compartment, press down lightly, and push
it inside un%! it snaps on.
;,-': if the remote control is not in use for long periods, the b)&ery
may become weak and the remote control will not fun$%on, please
replace with a new one if the above happens.

FACTORY RESET:
FACTORY RESET
When you move the radio to another part of the country, your pre-tuned and stored DAB stations
may no longer be available. If this is the case then you will need to reset your radio back to its
original factory settings, to perform a factory reset, please do the following.
1. Ensure the unit is connected to AC mains.
2. Plug the radio to mains and press the STANDBY/ON button once to turn the radio on.
3. Depress and hold the FUNCTION button unit the display shows “Press Enter Key to Reset”
4. Press the SELECT button once, the display will show “System reset OK” and then finally perform
full auto scan function.
5. After the scan has finished, the radio will select and display the first alphanumerically found
station.
Note: All of your stored DAB & FM pre-sets will be lost once the reset has taken place, the radio will
automatically switch between stereo & mono mode, but you can override this & switch this function
manually which is helpful for poor signal reception
