R205 Series Wireless heating Thermostat

1.General
R205 is a Radio Controlled Room Thermostat which requires no wiring and can be fitted in any
normal operating enviroment within a typical 30 meter range of the TR205 RF Transceiver. It is
available for Non-programmable and Programmable.
TR205 RF Transceiver should be mounted on a vertical flat surface near the boiler or centrial
heating wiring centre. Do not place it too close to objects which might interfere with the radio
signal. It is preferable to mount the transceiver such that an imaginary straight line between it
and the transmitter thermostat is not obscured by the boiler or any other large metal objects.

5. Installation Instruction
5-1. Use a small size screwdriver (approx. 3.5 mm
width) insert to the notch of LCD Display unit
about 4 mm.
5-2.Turn up the screwdriver with a little
pressure, and open the LCD unit
5-3. Please use two screws (provided) to fasten
the back cover of LCD Display unit on wall or box.
5-4.Put two AA Batteries into the the side hole
and close the cover.
5-5. The cover of LCD Display unit is connected on
the wall or box at the angle of 30º.
5-6. Turn up the screwdriver with a little
pressure, and open the LCD unit

Press and hold “Mode” for 3 seconds into week programable mode. Adjusting order: Monday ~

9. Room Temperature Measurement & IP Address Setting
As the installation position and the air convention, we need to adjust and measure the room
temperature (show in thermostat), so that room temperature (show in thermostat) could be the
same with the actual room temperature as much as possible.
During Turn-off, Press the “P” button for 3 sec, enter into debug mode.
Switch to temperature measurement mode by pressing “P” button.

10. Communication
Step 1: Press the reset key (black button) in the left side of the RF receiver for 3 seconds.
Step 2: Press the P key (programmable) in the LCD panel for 3 seconds and then enter into the
debug mode.
Step 3: During debug mode, by pressing the Manual Key circularly the temperature measurement
mode and IP address setting mode will appear circularly. Switch to IP address setting mode, press
Downwards and Upwards Key to adjust the IP you need, and then press the Confirm Key to
confirm. The RF receiver will make a beep sound, and the setting is finished.
During IP setting mode, switch to high byte IP by pressing manual button.
11. Warranty
We offer the warranty of 12 months, from the sales day. If it is not the quality problems, or
beyond the warranty period, we will charge for the after-sale service.
