RADIO SETTING MANUAL

☆ Transmitter Setup For The JR DSX12
JR-CCPM plays a critical role in coordinating the simultaneous activating of multiple servos to contorl
the swashplate. Activation of just a single servo would not lead to control of the swashplate - the three
swashplate servos must be controlled in a coordinated fashion. The setup of these servos diers from that for
other control functions which control just one servo (for example, the throttle).
The initial settings given here must be conrmed on the bench, and then ne tuned after test ying the
helicopter. Prior to commencing this process, conrm all the trim levers and trim knowbs on the transmitter
are in their neutral (zero) positions. Also shift all switches to position”0” (switches moved away from the
operator).
Please also be familiar with the instructions for the transmitter. The initial settings can be entered into the
transmitter without turning power on to the receiver. Please note that ne adjustment will be needed after test
ying the helicopter.
1、Initializing the Radio
① Press (and hold) the 【ENT】key located on the
lower left of the Transmitter,then turn on the power
switch.
([System Mode List], List screen displayed)
② Turn the dial on the right side of the Transmitter to
select [84.Model SEL] and press.
③ Turn the dial to select [Model]and press.
④ Turn the dial to select the model number you want
to reset and press the dial again to settle it.
⑤ Use the 【LIST】key to return to”System Mode List”
⑥ Turn the dial to select[28.MDL Reset]and press.
⑦ Press the【CLR】key and press “YES” in the YES/
NO conrmation screen.
⑧ Press the【LIST】key to return to [Syetem Mode
List]
To switch[Select]and[Copy]press the dial alternately
Select[Model SEL]

Turn the dial to select
Select the model to be reset.

2、Selecting the Swash Type
① Turn the dial to select [34.Swash TYPE] and press.
② Turn the dial to select [ 1 s e r v o N O R M ]
a n d p r e s s .
③ Turn the dial to select [3servos 120。]and press.
④ Press the【LIST】key to return to[SYSTEM Mode
List]
⑤ Press the【ENT】key twice to return to the regular
screen.
3、Setting the Swash Mix
① Press the【LIST】key on the regular screen.
(”Function List”is displayed)
② Turn the dial to select[65.Swash MIX]and press.
③ Conrm that「3servos 120。」is displayed. Now use
the dial to move to the item you want to alter.
④ Use the “+” and “-” keys to input the values shown
in the table below for AILE, ELEV and PIT.
(for the GSR260Z , select [+] in [PIT.] and press to
swith to [-]
⑤ After completing these settings press the【LIST】
key to return to[Function List]

4、Setting the Servo Directions (Reverse Switches)
① Turn the dial to selct[11.REV. SW]and press.
② Select the reverse switch for each channel and
press the dial to set NORM or REV.
( Each time the dial is pressed, NORM and REV. are
alternately selected.)
③ After setting is completed for each channel, ues
the【LIST】 key to return to the [Function List].
※ Note the servo directions given are for JR servos.
Please confirm the directions carefully for your
chosen servos.
5、Setting the Travel Adjust Values
① Turn the dial to select[12.TRVL ADJ.]and
press.
② Turn the dial to select each item and press.
(Select L/R or U/D position by moving the
appropriate control in that direction)
③ Turn the dial and enter the values shown in the
table below and press.
④ Press the【LIST】key twice to return to regular
screen.
Setting for other kind of Radio set
※1 If you use a transmitter other than the JR DSX12 or PCM9X II, please refer to the manufactures
instruction manual.
※2 If using a Futaba transmitter, set the pitch value for Swash Mix about 10% lower than the
value in the table.
※3 Please refer to your tail gyro instruction manual for advise on tail rotor setup and initial transmitter
settings.

④【Press the【LIST】key to return to [SYSTEM M.].
⑤ Turn the dial to select [MDL Reset] and press.
⑥ Press the【CLR】key and press “YES” in the YES
/ NO conrmation screen.
2、Selecting the Swash Type
① Press the【LIST】key to return to「SYSTEM M.」
again.
② Turn the dial to select「SWASH TYP」and press.
③ Turn the dial again to select [3s120° ] and press.
④ Press the【LIST】key to return to「SYSTEM M.」
⑤ Press the【ENT】key twice to return to the regular
screen.

3、Setting the Swash Mix
① Press the【LIST】key to display “Function mode”.
② Turn the dial to select「Swash Mix」and press.
③ Conrm that「3servos 120。」is displayed. Use the
dial to move to the item you want to alter.
④ Use the「+」 or「-」key to input the values shown
in the
table below for AILE、ELEV、and PIT.
⑤ After setting press the【LIST】key to return to
“Function mode”.
4、Setting Servo Direction
① Turn the dial to select「REV.SW」and press.
② Select the reverse switch of each channel and
press the dial to set NORM/REV.
( Every time the dial is pressed,NORM and REV are
alternately selected.)
③ After setting is completed for each channel,press
the【LIST】key to return to the function mode.

5、Setting Travel Adjust Values
① Turn the dial to select「TRVL ADJ.」and press.
② Use the dial to select each item and press. Set each
to the value in the table below and press.
③ Press the【ENT】key to return to the regular
screen.
Setting for other kind of Radio set
※1 If you use a transmitter other than the JR X2610 or PCM9X II, please refer to the manufactures
instruction manual.
※2 If using a Futaba transmitter, set the pitch value for Swash Mix about 10% lower than the value
in the table.
※3 Please refer to your tail gyro instruction manual for advise on tail rotor setup and initial trasmitter
settings.

turning power on to the receiver. Also read the instruction manual for your transmitter. Please note that ne
adjustment will be needed after test ying the helicopter.
1、Selecting the Swash Type
See the instruction manual for your transmitter to select the swash type. Go to the TYPE setting screen in the
PARA setting screen to select “HELI SR-3” Note that is not HELI SN-3”.
2、Setting the Swash Plate Mix
Input the values in the table below for each item.
3、Setting Servo Reverse
Initilally, set the same values as for a JR made Radio set, then conrm.
4、Setting the Travel Adjust Values
Initially set the same values as for a JR made Radio set.
For the throttle and the rudder, values will depend on the engine and the gyro used.
Set values so that each servo will have the optimum travel.
5、Wiring
Make connections between the servos and the receiver as shown in the gure below.

☆ Wiring Diagram for JR Radios
Conrm connections between the servos and the receiver as per the gure below.
The lead harnesses of the servos shown in the diagram are color coded simply for easy distinction.
When using other makes of Radio set refer to the instruction manual to conrm correct wiring.
