
Second step is to mark and cut the the coolant bleeder and TB
coolant barb to clear the cylinder head. Please take your time to mark
the clearance needed and cut cleanly.
STEP 3
After the manifold is cleaned up, remove the JSP adapter flan e
from the cylinder head and usin a few of the provided M8 flan ed hex
head bolts attach the flan e to the intake manifold. You will notice the
left side top and bottom bolt holes do not line up with the holes in the
intake manifold. There are two options here for fixin this. Option 1 is
to scribe the hole location of the adapter onto the backside of the
intake manifold, remove the flan e and use a carbide burr to port the
hole location needed. Option 2 (recommended) is to mount the
manifold onto a mill or drill press upside down and usin a 3/8” drill,
use the flan e hole as a pilot to drill throu h the intake manifold from
the back side. These pictures show the result of the second option.
