EN Manual Jupio ProLine V-Mount Hotswap Adapter Plate
Thank you for purchasing this Jupio ProLine V-Mount Hotswap Adapter
Plate. To ensure your safety, please read this manual carefully before
using and keep it for future reference.
For use as a battery charger
Install 1 or 2 batteries onto the V-mount Hotswap Adapter Plate. Both
the V-mount Terminal and the bidirectional D-tap can charge the batteries.
When charging, the LED indicator for the remaining capacity of the
respective battery lights up with one LED light for 25% capacity, two LED
lights for 50% capacity, three LED lights for 75% capacity and four LED
lights for 100% capacity or in other words a fully charged battery.
This V-mount Hotswap Adapter Plate alternately charges two installed
batteries. After the two batteries are fully charged, the corresponding LED
lights will remain on for a long time.
For use as a power supply
V-mount Hotswap Adapter Plate can be installed on a V-mount device for
use as a power supply. During the discharge process, the LED indicator
light of the adapter plate shows the power in real time. When the battery
power is too low or if a battery is removed during the discharge process,
the V-mount Hotswap Adapter Plate will automatically switch to another
battery for power supply. During the switching process, the electrical
device or instrument will not switch off and can therefore be used normally.
Install two fully charged batteries in the V-mount Hotswap Adapter Plate
and then connect it to the V-Mount device.
If one battery is fully charged and one battery is not fully charged, the
lower capacity battery will be discharged first.
Using this V-mount Hotswap Adapter Plate on a V-mount camera is the
same as using a BP-V series battery (BP-V47 / BP-V95 / BP-V142 /
BP-V190 / BP-V200 ). The battery power information can be viewed on the
camera itself.
Press the power test button to check the realtime capacity of the
respective battery. If the battery power is too low, the LED indicator will not
light up.
Caution
1. If the V-mount Battery Swap Adapter Plate is not to be used for an
extended period of time, unplug the power cord and remove the battery.
2. Keep the V-mount Battery Swap Adapter Plate in a dry and well-
ventilated evironment.
3. After installing a battery on the V-mount Battery Swap Adapter Plate,
please check if the battery lock lever is fully rebounced and that the
battery is secure, to prevent it from falling off.
