INSTALLER INFORMATION
Please read all instructions before you begin.
Shut off the main water supply.
Observe all local plumbing and building codes.
Complete the finished deck material before installing the bath faucet trim.
Before installation, unpack the new bath faucet trim and inspect it for damage. Return it to the carton until
installation.
Kallista reserves the right to make revisions in the design of faucets without notice, as specified in the Price
Book.

1. REMOVE PIPE PLUG

Remove the plaster guard from the spout supply tube.
Cut off the spout supply tube 1-1/4” above the rim, finished
deck, or tile.
Remove all burrs from the spout supply tube to prevent
damage to the O-ring seal on the spout sleeve assembly.
WARNING: Risk of personal injury. Lines will be
pressurized. Do not lean over pipe plug when turning or
removing the plug.
Ensure that the valves are closed (cold - fully
counterclockwise, hot - fully clockwise).
Turn off the main water supply.
Wrap a towel around the pipe plug to prevent water spray.
Important! Water will purge from the supply tube when you
remove the plug.
Carefully remove the pipe plug.

CAUTION: Risk of product damage. Use care when
installing the spout assembly to prevent damage to the
O-ring seal.
IMPORTANT! Keep the spout supply tube clean above the finished
deck to avoid damage to the O-ring seal.
Unscrew the spout escutcheon from the mounting flange and
slide it up along the spout as shown, being careful not to
scratch the spout.
Place the mounting flange and spout over the spout supply
tube and align the spout as desired.
Mark the location of the slots in the mounting flange and the
outside diameter of the flange.
Carefullly remove the spout and mounting flange from the
spout supply tube and set aside.
Using an appropriate drill bit, drill four holes in the marked
locations to allow for the mounting screws. Be carefull not to
damage the mounting surface outside the outer diameter of the
mounting flange.
Replace the mounting flange and spout over the spout supply
tube and align the spout as desired. Use the mounting screws
to fasten the spout to the mounting surface.
Carefully slide the spout escutcheon down over the mounting
flange and tighten it down.

Insert a spline adapter into the female end of the stem
extension. Install another spline adapter onto the male end of
the stem extension.
Install the female end of the stem extension over the spline of
the hot valve. Secure with the machine screw.
Repeat for the cold valve.

Place a gasket in the bottom of the escutcheon of the handle
assembly.
Place the handle assembly over the stem extension orienting
the handle as desired.
Hold the handle with one hand and turn the escutcheon with
the other hand until it contacts the mounting surface.
Repeat for the other handle assembly.

4. COMPLETE THE INSTALLATION

Ensure that both faucet handles are turned off (hot -
clockwise close, cold - counterclockwise close).
Turn on the main water supply, and check for leaks.
Repair as required.
Remove the aerator assembly with the tool provided. Turn
on both hot and cold valves, and run water through the
spout for about a minute to remove any debris. Check for
leaks.
Turn off both hot and cold valves. Reinstall the aerator
assembly.
