INTRODUCTION
Electric catering coffee urns are manufactured in durable stainless steel
and polished to give a long lasting finish. With proper care and
management your new purchase will give you years of trouble free service.
Constant hot coffee is to be prepared quickly in places like hotels, cafes,
schools, offices, lounges, restaurants and all kinds of party gatherings.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance.
Important: People (including children) who are not able to use the appliance in a
safe way, due to their physical, sensorial or mental capacity or their lack of
experience or knowledge, must never use the appliance except if they are
supervised by a person responsible for their safety or if they previously received
instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance.
Close supervision is necessary to prevent children from using the appliance as a toy.
qCheck that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the
appliance.
qNever leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.
qFrom time to time check the appliance and its cord for damages.
Never use the appliance if cord or appliance shows any signs of
damage. All repairs should be made by a competent qualified electrician
(*). Should the cord be damaged, it must be replaced by a competent
qualified electrician (*).
qNever immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid for any reason
whatsoever. Never place it into the dishwasher.

qNever use the appliance near hot surfaces.
qBefore cleaning or storing the appliance, always unplug the appliance
from the power supply and let it cool down.
qNever use the appliance outside and always place it in a dry
environment.
qNever use accessories that are not recommended by the producer.
They could constitute a danger to the user and risk to damage the
appliance.
qNever move the appliance by pulling the cord. Stand the appliance on a
table or flat surface. Make sure the cord cannot get caught in any way.
Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
qMake sure the cord never comes into contact with the hot parts of the
appliance.
qNever touch the hot parts of the appliance.
qMake sure the appliance never comes into contact with inflammable
materials such as curtains, textiles... when it is in use as they might
catch fire.
qWhen removing lime scale, only use special products for the removal of
lime scale. Never use ammonia or any other substance that might
damage your health.
qOnly put ground coffee in the filter.
qNever use your coffee maker without water in it.
qAlways fill the water tank under the maximum mark. Do not overfill the
water tank as boiling water might overflow.
qAlways switch off before removing the plug from the outlet.
qAlways switch off before trying to move the coffee urn.
qBeware of hot steam when removing the lid.
qAlways ensure the lid is securely fitted whenever the urn contains
water.
qDo not attempt to disassemble the water urn.
(*) Competent qualified electrician: after-sales department of the producer or
importer or any person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this
kind of repairs in order to avoid all danger. In case of need you should return the
appliance to this electrician.

PRIOR TO FIRST USE
1.Remove all packaging from the inside and outside of the coffee urn.
2.Fill the coffee urn, boil and discard the water before the first use. This
is to simply clean the urn before using for drinking coffee.
HOW TO USE
1. Always use the water urn on a flat level surface.
2. Turn the lid anti clockwise to open.
3. Replace the lid and turn clockwise to lock into place.
4. Open the lid and pour in water. Make sure the water is below the
«MAX «water level indicator.
5. Connect the plug and the socket.
• If you want to brew coffee, place the percolator tube and the filter basket
in the tank and put the desired amount of coffee on the basket. Make sure
that the percolator tube is fitted inside the Coffee Urn. Otherwise, it will not
work properly.
• If you only want to boil water, don’t put the percolator filter and
the filter basket.
6. Switch ON. The "BOIL" pilot lamp will light up and the water starts to
heat up, the water will spout from the tube ,fall down to the coffee
powder .It works in this way again and again until the "BOIL" pilot
lamp goes out and the "KEEPWARM" pilot lamp lights up, showing
that the proper amount of water has been sprayed well and the
appliance is in the state of preserving heat.
7. Use the faucet to dispense water/coffee.
8. When about three cups of water are remaining in the tank, turn
the appliance off and unplug it from the electric outlet.
9. Always make sure at least three cups of water are remaining in the
tank to prevent a boil-dry accident.
10. The urns can be very heavy when filled with water or coffee.
Urns should not be carried or moved when full of water as the weight
and unsteady load can cause injury or strain. Urns should be placed
in their position of use and filled through the use of a portable hose
or several trips with a smaller, manageable container (e.g. a jug).
To ensure operator safety in lifting the machines, Urns should never
be moved when filled with more than 5L (5L =5Kg approximately).
BOIL DRY PROTECTION
The appliance is protected by a thermal limiter with AUTOMATIC reset function to
prevent accidental dry-boil. .If the water in the tank is boiled dry, this is activated, the

appliance will turn itself off, although the lamp with remain on. The appliance must
be unplugged before it can be reset. To reset the appliance, wait until the
appliance has cooled down. The automatic reset is in close position when is cooled.
Power ON the appliance again, check if the heating pilot light is on. If the pilot light is
on, it indicates the unit has recovered to normal working condition; if the light is still
off, put the appliance in power OFF and unplug the cord and wait some minutes.
Repeat this operation several times until the appliance is under normal working
condition.
This facility is for the protection of the user as well as the components.
In case of such repeated incidents the bi-metal may malfunction causing damage of
thermal limiter as well as the heating element beyond repair. Please note that the
manufacturer will not guarantee for such negligent use of appliance.
If resetting this thermal cut-out does not switch the appliance back on, please call for
service or professional maintenance agent to have further check.
THERMAL CUT-OUT
The appliance is fitted with a thermal cut-out to have double safety protection .When
the water is boiled dry and the boil dry protections fails to work ,the thermal cut-out
will work ,then the appliance stops working.
This thermal cut-out is a disposable part. When this part comes into effect, it will be
broken and cannot be used again. The appliance should be brought to authorized
agent to replace the thermal cut-out.
The reset button is located on the underside of the appliance. Press this button then
power on the appliance again, check if the heating pilot light is on. If the pilot light is
on, it indicates the unit is recover to normal working condition; if the light is still off,
unplug the cord and try to press the reset button again. Make this operation for
several times until the appliance is under normal working condition.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. CLEANING THE URN
a. Always rinse the Coffee Urn immediately after each use.
b. Be sure to unplug the unit, pour out any remaining water or coffee, and
allow to cool off before cleaning.
c. Add small quantity of hot water, brush sides, and rinse with hot water until
it runs clean.
d. Clean the filter unit and the lid with a non-abrasive detergent and dry them
with a soft dry cloth.
e. The inside and the tube are of stainless steel and can therefore be

cleaned with a product and a scouring pad.
f. For the tap to operate normally, the hole at the bottom of the tank must
not be furred up. If necessary, use a descaling agent.
g. To clean the tap unit using a bottle brush, moving it back and forth. Insert it
in the tap opening inside the tan to clean the intermediate part linking the
tap to the appliance. Wash the tap handle with hot soapy water and rinse.
h. Use a soft cloth to wipe the urn body dry. Do not use benzene, thinners or
harsh abrasive cleaning products, as these will damage the finish of the
unit.
i. Always remember to empty and rinse the urn with hot water before using
again.
2. DE-SCALING THE URN
a. It is important to de-scale the water urn at regular intervals.
b. Limescale build up can affect the workings of the water urn element.
c. Please note most supermarket de-scaling products are based on
treating a 2 litre kettle.
Always rinse thoroughly after de-scaling.
3. DISCOLORING OF THE TANK
This is caused by oxidizing of iron in tap water. It can be removed by the following
steps:
a. Cut a lemon into four, wrap the lemon in cloth and place in the
water tank.
b. Pour water up to the "MAX" water level indicator.
c. Boil the water and make sure the mixture remains inside the unit
for about 1 hour.
d. Pour out the water and use a nylon brush to scrub the water
tank.
e. To remove the smell of the lemon, boil water again, and dispose the water.

INTRODUCTION

hôtels, des cafés, des écoles, des bureaux, des salons, des restaurants et toutes
sortes de rassemblements.

Important: Votre appareil n’est pas prévu pour être utilisé par des personnes (y

qAvant d'utiliser l'appareil, vérifiez que la tension du réseau correspond

qNe plongez jamais l'appareil dans l'eau ou dans tout autre liquide ni
pour son nettoyage ni pour toute autre raison. Ne le mettez jamais dans
le lave-vaisselle.
qN'utilisez pas l'appareil près de sources de chaleur.
qL’appareil doit obligatoirement être débranché et refroidi avant de le
nettoyer ou de le ranger.
qVeillez à ne pas utiliser l'appareil à l'extérieur et entreposez-le dans un
endroit sec.
qNe pas utiliser des accessoires non recommandés par le fabricant, cela
peut présenter un danger pour l’utilisateur et risque d’endommager
l’appareil.
qNe déplacez jamais l’appareil en tirant sur le câble. Posez cet appareil
sur une table ou un support suffisamment stable et veillez à ce que le
cordon d’alimentation ne puisse être accidentellement accroché afin
d’éviter toute chute de l’appareil. Evitez d’enrouler le cordon autour de
l’appareil et ne le tordez pas.
qAssurez-vous que le cordon d’alimentation ne soit pas en contact avec
les parties chaudes de l’appareil.
qNe pas toucher les surfaces chaudes de l’appareil.
qVeillez à ce que l’appareil n’entre pas en contact avec des matériaux
facilement inflammables comme les rideaux, les tissus,... lorsqu’il est en
fonctionnement car le feu pourrait se déclarer.
qLors d’un éventuel détartrage, ne faites usage que de produits
spécialement étudiés pour le détartrage de cafetières. Ne faites pas
usage d’ammoniac ou de toute autre substance qui pourrait nuire à
votre santé.
qNe mettez rien d’autre que du café moulu dans le filtre à café.
qNe faites pas fonctionner votre cafetière sans eau.
qLors du remplissage, veillez à vous situer au-dessous du repère de
graduation MAX. Ne dépassez jamais le niveau MAX car si le réservoir
d’eau est trop rempli, de l’eau bouillante peut être éjectée.
qEteignez toujours l’appareil avant de débrancher la fiche de la prise de
courant.
qEteignez toujours l’appareil avant de déplacer la cafetière.
qAttention! De la vapeur chaude peut s’échapper quand vous enlevez le
couvercle.
qAssurez-vous que le couvercle soit bien monté quand le réservoir est
rempli d’eau.
qN’essayez jamais de démonter le réservoir d’eau.

une personne qualifiée, reconnue et habilitée à faire ce genre de réparation afin

AVANT LA PREMIERE UTILISATION
1. Retirez tous les emballages de l'intérieur et à l'extérieur du percolateur.
2. Remplissez le percolateur, faites bouillir et jetez l'eau avant la première
utilisation.
3. Il s'agit simplement de nettoyer le percolateur avant de l'utiliser pour boire du
café.
COMMENT UTILISER LE PERCOLATEUR
1. Utilisez toujours le percolateur sur une surface plane.
2. Tournez le couvercle dans le sens horaire pour ouvrir.
3. Remettez le couvercle et le tournez pour le verrouiller en place.
4. Ouvrez le couvercle et versez de l'eau. Assurez-vous que le niveau
d’eau est inférieur à l'indicateur «MAX ».
5. Branchez la fiche dans la prise de courant. (230V ~)
• Si vous voulez préparer le café, placez le tube percolateur et le
panier-filtre dans le réservoir et mettez la quantité désirée de café
sur le panier. Assurez-vous que le tube percolateur est bien placé à
l'intérieur du percolateur. Sinon, il ne fonctionnera pas correctement.
• Si vous voulez seulement faire bouillir l'eau, ne mettez pas le tube
percolateur et le panier-filtre.
6. Placez l’interrupteur sur ON. La lampe «PERCOLATION» témoin rouge
s'allume et l'eau commence à chauffer, l'eau va jaillir du tube et tomber sur la
poudre de café. Il fonctionne de cette façon, encore et encore jusqu'à ce que la
lampe rouge «PERCOLATION» s'éteigne et le voyant lumineux orange
«MAINTIENT CHAUD» s'allume, indiquant que la quantité adéquate d'eau a été
pulvérisée sur le café et que l'appareil est en état de préserver la chaleur du
café.
7. Utilisez le robinet pour distribuer du café ou de l'eau.
8. Lorsque environ trois tasses d'eau sont restantes dans le réservoir, mettez
l'appareil hors tension et débranchez la prise électrique.
9. Assurez-vous toujours qu’au moins trois tasses d'eau sont restantes dans le
réservoir pour éviter un accident ébullition-séchage.
Le percolateur peut être très lourd lorsqu'il est rempli d'eau ou de
café. Le percolateur ne doit pas être transporté ou déplacé quand il
est plein d’eau car le poids de la charge instable peut causer des
blessures ou douleurs.
Le percolateur doit être placé dans sa position d'utilisation et rempli
en utilisant un tuyau ou à l’aide d’un récipient. (par exemple une
cruche) Afin d'assurer la sécurité des opérateurs dans le levage des
machines, le percolateur ne doit jamais être déplacé quand il est
rempli avec plus de 5L d’eau. (5L = 5 Kg environ)

PROTECTION THERMIQUE
L'appareil est protégé par un limiteur thermique avec une réinitialisation
AUTOMATIQUE pour empêcher toute utilisation accidentelle par manque d’eau. Si
l'eau dans le réservoir atteint un niveau trop bas ou venait à manquer, cette option
est activée, l'appareil s'éteint automatiquement, même si la lampe reste allumée.
L'appareil doit être débranché avant de pouvoir être remis à zéro. Pour réinitialiser
l'appareil, attendre que l'appareil soit refroidi. La remise à zéro automatique est en
position fermée quand l’appareil est refroidi. Mettez l'appareil sous tension, vérifiez
si le témoin lumineux de chauffage est en marche. Si le voyant est allumé, il indique
que l'unité a récupéré son état de fonctionnement normal, si la lumière est éteinte,
mettre l’interrupteur de l'appareil sur OFF, débranchez le cordon et attendre
quelques minutes. Répétez cette opération plusieurs fois jusqu'à ce que l'appareil
soit en condition de travail normale. Cette installation est pour la protection de
l'utilisateur ainsi que les composants. En cas de tels incidents répétés le bilame peut
présenter des dysfonctionnements causant des dommages au limiteur thermique
ainsi qu’à l'élément chauffant.
S'il vous plaît noter que le fabricant ne garantit pas pour un usage négligent ces
appareils. Si la réinitialisation de ce coupe-circuit thermique ne remet pas l'appareil
en marche, s'il vous plaît contactez le service ou l'agent d'entretien professionnel
pour des examens complémentaires.
FUSIBLE THERMIQUE
L'appareil est équipé d'une double protection thermique de sécurité avec le fusible
thermique. Lorsque l'eau vient à manquer et que la protection par thermostat de
sécurité ne fonctionne pas, le fusible thermique fonctionne, puis l'appareil cesse de
fonctionner.
Ce fusible thermique est une partie jetable. Lorsque cette partie a fonctionné, il sera
brisé et ne peut être utilisé à nouveau. L'appareil doit être apporté à l'agent autorisé
à remplacer le fusible thermique.
NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN
1. NETTOYAGE DU PERCOLATEUR
a.Rincez toujours le percolateur immédiatement après chaque utilisation.
b.Veillez à débrancher l'appareil, videz l’eau restante ou café, et le laissez refroidir
avant de le nettoyer.
c. Ajoutez une petite quantité d'eau chaude, nettoyez les côtés avec une brosse et
rincez à l’eau chaude jusqu’à ce qu’il soit propre.
d.Nettoyez le filtre et le couvercle avec un détergent non-abrasif et séchez les avec
un chiffon doux et sec.

e.L'intérieur et le tube sont en acier inoxydable et peuvent donc être nettoyés avec
un produit et un tampon à récurer.
f. Pour le fonctionnement normal du robinet, le trou au fond du réservoir ne doit pas
être entartré. Si nécessaire, utilisez un produit détartrant.
g.Pour nettoyer le robinet à l'aide d'un écouvillon, il va et vient.
Insérez-le dans l'ouverture du robinet à l'intérieur de la cuve pour nettoyer la
partie intermédiaire reliant le robinet de l'appareil.
Lavez la poignée du robinet avec de l'eau chaude savonneuse et rincez.
h.Utilisez un chiffon doux pour essuyer le corps du percolateur.
N'utilisez pas de benzène, de diluants ou de produits détergents abrasif car ils
Peuvent endommager le fini de l’unité.
i. N'oubliez pas de vider et rincer le percolateur avec de l'eau chaude avant de
l’utiliser à nouveau.
2. DETARTRER LE PERCOLATEUR
a.Il est important de détartrer Le percolateur à intervalles réguliers.
b.L’accumulation de calcaire peut affecter le fonctionnement du percolateur et de
ses éléments.
c. S'il vous plaît noter que la plupart des produits détartrants des supermarchés sont
basés sur le traitement d’une bouilloire électrique de 2 litres, toujours bien rincer
après le détartrage de l’appareil.
3. DECOLORATION DE LA CUVE
Ceci est causé par l'oxydation du fer dans l'eau du robinet. Il peut être éliminé par
les étapes suivantes:
a). Coupez un citron en quatre, enveloppez-le citron dans du tissu et le placer
dans le réservoir d’eau.
b). Versez de l'eau jusqu'à l’indicateur de niveau d'eau "MAX".
c). Faites bouillir l'eau et assurez-vous que le mélange reste l'intérieur de la cuve
pendant environ 1 heure.
d). Versez l'eau et utilisez une brosse en nylon pour frotter l'intérieur du réservoir.
e). Pour enlever l'odeur de citron, faites bouillir de l’eau à nouveau et ensuite
videz l’eau puis rincez la cuve.
PROTECTION DE L’ENVIRONNEMENT – DIRECTIVE 2002/96/CE
Afin de préserver notre environnement et notre santé, l’élimination en fin
de vie des appareils électriques et électroniques doit se faire selon des règles bien
précises et nécessite l’implication de chacun, qu’il soit fournisseur ou utilisateur.
C’est pour cette raison que votre appareil, tel que le signal, le symbole apposé
sur sa plaque signalétique ou sur l’emballage, ne doit en aucun cas être jeté dans

une poubelle publique ou privée destinée aux ordures ménagères. L'utilisateur a le
droit de déposer l'appareil dans des lieux publics de collecte procédant à un tri
sélectif des déchets pour être soit recyclé, soit réutilisé pour d’autres applications
conformément à la directive.

INLEIDING
Elektrische koffiezetapparaten voor catering zijn gemaakt van duurzaam roestvrij
staal en geborsteld om ze een lang meegaande afwerking te geven. Met gepaste
zorg en behandeling zal uw nieuwe aankoop u jaren zorgeloos dienst bewijzen.
Constante hete koffie kan snel bereid worden op plaatsen zoals hotels, cafés,
scholen, kantoren, salons, restaurants en alle soorten feesten.
BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN
Lees de gebruiksaanwijzing aandachtig alvorens u uw toestel gebruikt.
Belangrijk: Personen (kinderen inbegrepen) die wegens hun fysieke,
sensoriële of mentale capaciteiten, of wegens hun gebrek aan ervaring of
kennis, het toestel niet veilig kunnen gebruiken, mogen dit toestel niet
zonder toezicht of instructies van een verantwoordelijke persoon gebruiken.
Houd kinderen goed in het oog om te vermijden dat ze met het toestel
spelen.
qControleer of de netspanning overeenkomt met deze van het toestel vooraleer
u het gebruikt.
qLaat uw toestel tijdens het gebruik nooit zonder toezicht.
qControleer regelmatig of het snoer niet beschadigd is. Gebruik het toestel niet
indien het snoer en/of het toestel zelf enige beschadiging zouden vertonen.
Laat het in dat geval nakijken en herstellen door een bekwarme gekwalificeerde
dienst(*). Een beschadigd snoer dient te worden vervangen door een bekwame
gekwalificeerde dienst(*).
qDompel het toestel nooit onder in water of in enige andere vloeistof, noch om het
te reinigen, noch om welke andere reden ook. Steek het nooit in een

afwasmachine.
qGebruik het toestel niet in de nabijheid van warmtebronnen.
qHaal de stekker uit het stopcontact en laat het toestel afkoelen
vooraleer u het reinigt of opbergt.
qGebruik het toestel niet buiten en berg het op in een droge plaats.
qGebruik geen accessoires die niet door de fabrikant aanbevolen
werden.
Dit kan het toestel beschadigen en gevaarlijk zijn voor de gebruiker.
qTrek nooit aan het snoer om het toestel te verplaatsen. Plaats het toestel op een
tafel of op een voldoende stabiel oppervlak zodat het niet valt en zorg ervoor dat
het elektriciteitssnoer nergens kan achterhaken en daardoor de val van het
toestel veroorzaken. Draai het snoer niet rond het toestel en plooi het niet.
qZorg dat het snoer niet in aanraking komt met de warme onderdelen
van het toestel.
qLet erop dat u de warme onderdelen van het toestel niet aanraakt.
qZorg ervoor dat het toestel nooit in contact komt met ontvlambare stoffen zoals
gordijnen en dergelijke wanneer het in gebruik is om brand te vermijden.
qGebruik voor het ontkalken enkel speciaal hiertoe bestemde producten.
Gebruik geen ammoniak of andere stof die uw gezondheid zou kunnen schaden.
qSchep enkel gemalen koffie in de filter.
Laat uw koffiezetapparaat niet werken zonder water.
qZorg ervoor dat het waterreservoir gevuld wordt onder het maximumpeil.
Overschrijd nooit het maximumpeil want als het waterreservoir te vol
gevuld is, bestaat er gevaar voor overkoken (brandwonden).
qSchakel altijd het toestel uit vooraleer u de stekker uit het stopcontact trekt.
qSchakel altijd het toestel uit vooraleer u het koffiezetapparaat verplaatst.
qOpgepast: hete stoom kan ontsnappen wanneer u het deksel wegneemt.
qZorg er altijd voor dat het deksel goed is aangebracht wanneer het reservoir water
bevat.
qProbeer nooit het waterreservoir te demonteren.
(*) Bekwame gekwalificeerde dienst: klantendienst van de fabrikant of de invoerder,
die erkend en bevoegd is om dergelijke herstellingen te doen zodat elk gevaar
vermeden wordt. Gelieve het toestel bij problemen naar deze dienst terug te
brengen.

VOOR HET EERSTE GEBRUIK
1.Verwijder al het verpakkingsmateriaal van de binnenkant en van de
buitenkant van het koffiezetapparaat.
2.Vul het koffiezetapparaat met water, kook het water en giet het weg
voor het eerste gebruik. Dit dient simpelweg om het apparaat te reinigen
alvorens het te gebruiken om koffie te drinken.
GEBRUIK
1. Gebruik het waterreservoir altijd op een vlak, effen oppervlak.
2. Draai het deksel in tegenwijzerzin om het te openen.
3. Giet water in het waterreservoir. Zorg ervoor dat het water onder
waterpeilaanduiding "MAX" blijft.
4. Zet het deksel terug op het toestel en draai het in wijzerzin om het op
zijn plaats te bevestigen.
5. Steek de stekker in een stopcontact.
•Als u koffie wilt zetten, steek dan de percolatorbuis en de filtermand
in het reservoir en doe de gewenste hoeveelheid koffie in de mand.
Zorg ervoor dat de percolatorbuis in het koffiezetapparaat bevestigd
is. Anders zal het niet correct functioneren.
•Als u enkel water wilt koken, zet dan de percolatorfilter en de
filtermand niet in het toestel.
6. Schakel het toestel aan. Het kookcontrolelampje "BOIL" licht op en
het water begint op te warmen, het water spuit uit de buis, en valt
neer op het koffiepoeder. Zo gebeurt het opnieuw en opnieuw tot het
kookcontrolelampje "BOIL" uitdooft en het warmhoudcontrolelampje
"KEEP WARM" oplicht, en daarmee aanduidt dat de juiste
hoeveelheid water goed gesproeid is en dat het toestel in de
warmhoudtoestand is.
7. Gebruik de kraan om water/koffie te verdelen.
8. Wanneer ongeveer drie kopjes water overblijven in het reservoir,
schakel dan het toestel uit en trek de stekker uit het stopcontact.
9. Zorg er altijd voor dat minstens drie kopjes water overblijven in het
reservoir om een droogkookongeluk te vermijden.
10. Het apparaat kan zeer zwaar zijn wanneer het met water of koffie
gevuld is. Koffiezetapparaten mogen niet gedragen of verplaatst
worden wanneer ze vol water zijn, want het gewicht en de onstabiele
lading kunnen verwondingen of spierverrekkingen veroorzaken. Grote
koffiezetapparaten als deze moeten geplaatst worden op de plaats
waar ze gebruikt zullen worden en moeten gevuld worden met behulp
van een draagbare tuinslang of in meerdere keren met een kleinere,
hanteerbare recipiënt (bv. een kan). Om de veiligheid van de gebruiker
