2. Pair EF02 or NS02 with FBP1
Using EF02 or NS02 to scan the MAC address posted on BFP1, the EF02 or NS02 will make
buzzer tones and start to pair with BFP1. After paired, the blue LED light of FBP1 is always on
and the blue light of EF02 or NS02 is off.
3. Go to device manager in the PC to check the list. As shown in Fig.2 or 3, the BFP1 can work
either in virtual serial port mode (Fig.2), or in HID Keyboard mode (Fig.3). The HID keyboard
mode is a default. The selection of the mode is made by scanning the barcodes in Fig.4 and
Fig.5 by using EF02 or NS02.

a. In HID Keyboard mode. In a text field where a cursor is highlighted, when a barcode is
scanned, the data is printed, a sound of buzzer is heard and the DATA LED indicator on BFP1
will flash once.
b. In virtual serial port mode. To do the test it is recommended to install the serial port
assistant software, set these serial port parameters, Baud Rate: 115299; Data Bits: 8; Parity:
None; Stop Bits: 1. If the data output is successful, the buzzer will sound once and the DATA
LED will flash on once
