Product Set-Up
Congratulations on your purchase
You are almost done. Follow these 3 simple steps to get the full functionality
from your BungeeAir™ Power
1. Search on the App Store™ for: BungeeAir and download the free
BungeeAir app.
2. Install your iPhone® 4 in to the case as detailed in the following pages.
3. Launch the BungeeAir app.
The following steps are recommended. These steps will allow the BungeeAir
app to trigger an immediate screen lock and require the entry of your unique
passcode to unlock the screen thus providing optimum protection for your
stored information.
1. On your iPhone 4 go to Settings -> General -> Passcode Lock.
2. Set the “Require Passcode” duration to: Immediately.
3. If not enabled press “Turn Passcode On” and input a passcode.
Do not forget your passcode as you will need this if the iPhone 4 screen
should lock.
The following pages will guide you through the set-up, charging, tether, and
“Find My”functionality of Kensington’s BungeeAir Power product.

3. Si le code n’est pas activé, appuyez sur « Activer le code » et entrez un mot
de passe.
N’oubliez pas votre mot de passe. Vous en aurez besoin pour déverrouiller
l’écran de votre iPhone 4.

auszulösen, die nur mit Ihrem eindeutigen Code entsperrt werden kann, was für
einen optimalen Schutz Ihrer gespeicherten Informationen sorgt.
1. Wählen Sie auf dem iPhone 4 „Einstellungen“ -> „Allgemein“ -> „Code-
Sperre“ aus.
2. Legen Sie unter „Code anfordern“ für die Dauer fest: Sofort.
3. Drücken Sie, sofern noch keine Aktivierung besteht, auf „Code aktivieren“
und geben Sie ein Kennwort ein.
Vergessen Sie Ihr Kennwort nicht. Sie benötigen es, um den Bildschirm Ihres
iPhone 4 zu entsperren.

1. Zoek op de App Store™ naar BungeeAir en download de gratis
BungeeAir-toepassing.

3. Start de BungeeAir-toepassing.
De volgende stappen worden aanbevolen. Door deze stappen uit te voeren kan
de BungeeAir-toepassing een onmiddellijke schermvergrendeling uitvoeren
en de invoer van een unieke wachtwoordcode afdwingen om het scherm te
ontgrendelen, waardoor uw opgeslagen informatie optimaal wordt beschermd.
1. Ga op uw iPhone 4 naar Instellingen -> Algemeen -> Codeslot.
2. Stel de duur van “Vraag om code” in op: Direct.
3. Druk bij niet-inschakeling op “Zet code aan” en geef uw wachtwoord op.
Zorg ervoor dat u uw wachtwoord niet vergeet, aangezien u dit nodig hebt als
het iPhone 4-scherm wordt vergrendeld.

Si consiglia di eseguire i seguenti passaggi, che consentono di attivare un blocco di

1. Nell’iPhone 4 passare a Impostazioni -> Generali -> Blocco con codice.

Wireless Security Tether & Battery for iPhone®
The following pages take you through the functionality of Kensington’s BungeeAir™
Power. Items in italics require the BungeeAir app to be installed on your iPhone 4.
Functionality
The following steps are recommended. These steps will allow the BungeeAir app to
trigger an immediate screen lock and require the entry of your unique passcode to
unlock the screen thus providing optimum protection for your stored information.
1. On your iPhone 4 go to Settings -> General -> Passcode Lock.
2. Set the “Require Passcode” duration to: Immediately.
3. If not enabled press “Turn Passcode On” and input a passcode.
Do not forget your passcode as you will need this if the iPhone 4 screen should lock.
When the iPhone 4 is installed in the BungeeAir case the Wireless Security Tether
system will arm. In the armed condition the Wireless Tether will provide the
following protection.

The fob alarm provides both audible and vibratory notifications.
Additional Functionality
Mute
Button On/Off
t Mute: The fob audible notification can be silenced by pressing the Mute button on
the fob. The mute will reset when the cause of the alarm has been rectified.
t On/Off: The fob radio can be turned off by sliding the switch to the “Off” position
as indicated by the Red label. In this position the alarms will not activate, and the
fob and case will not communicate with each other. Remember to turn off your
BungeeAir fob where radio devices are prohibited.
“Find My iPhone 4” Operation
When the iPhone 4 is installed in the BungeeAir case the system will arm and the
“Find My iPhone 4” function will be available.

Troubleshooting
The following pages take you through the potential troubleshooting options.
No LED indication on fob
Check batteries are good and installed correctly.
The fob alarms immediately, without the warning period
Ensure that the case is completely closed. The Wireless Security Tether requires the
case lid is completely closed for proper operation.
Pressing “Find My Fob / Find my iPhone 4” doesn’t produce a sound on the unit I
want to locate
The fob and case are outside BungeeAir’s operating range. Walk a short distance
and try again.
2 different alarm tones from the fob are heard when moving out of range
The first 10 seconds of the alarm is a simple reminder that the fob and case has
separated. After 10 seconds, the alarm pattern will change.
The iPhone 4 doesn’t lock right away when the fob and case are separated
The case will not lock the iPhone until after the first 10 seconds of the alarm have
elapsed and the fob and case remain out of range. This provides the opportunity to
get the case and fob back into range.
My phone call terminates when the iPhone 4 locks
This is the expected experience when the iPhone 4 locks. BungeeAir provides a 10
second reminder before locking the iPhone 4 so that the case and fob can be brought
back into range and not interrupt their iPhone experience.
The BungeeAir app says the BungeeAir is “initializing”
Check that the batteries on the fob are correctly installed, that the iPhone 4 is
securely in the case and the case is properly shut, the fob and case are in range of
each other, and the fob and case are in the “On” position.
BungeeAir is briefly going in and out of range
Being a radio product, the performance will be affected by different environments
(i.e. on a desk, in a pocket, near metal, etc.). Try using the “Long” range setting. If the
condition persists, consider relocating the fob and/or case to change the environment.
If the condition persists when BungeeAir is completely unobstructed, check the
batteries on the fob.

Vérifiez que le boîtier est bien fermé. Pour fonctionner correctement, la liaison sans
fil nécessite que le couvercle du boîtier soit complètement fermé.

Le porte-clés et le boîtier se trouvent hors du périmètre de portée. Rapprochez-vous
un peu et réessayez.
Lorsque je quitte le périmètre de portée, deux alarmes sonores différentes
retentissent sur le porte-clés
Les 10 premières secondes de l’alarme ne servent qu’à prévenir que le porte-clés et le
boîtier sont séparés. Après 10 secondes, le type de l’alarme change.
L’iPhone 4 ne se verrouille pas directement lorsque le boîtier et le porte-clés sont
séparés
Lorsque le porte-clés et le boîtier se trouvent au-delà du périmètre de portée, le
boîtier verrouille l’iPhone 10 secondes après que l’alarme ait commencé à retentir.
Ceci laisse le temps de remettre le porte-clés et le boîtier au sein du périmètre
de portée.
Mes communications téléphoniques sont interrompues lorsque mon iPhone 4 se
verrouille
Lorsque l’iPhone se verrouille, ceci est normal. Un avertissement de 10 secondes
retentit avant que l’iPhone ne se verrouille. Pendant ces 10 secondes, le boîtier et le
porte-clés peuvent être remis au sein du périmètre de portée, ainsi la communication
n’est pas interrompue.
L’app BungeeAir m’informe que BungeeAir est « En cours d’initialisation »
Vérifiez les points suivants : les piles du porte-clés sont bien insérées, votre iPhone 4
est correctement installé dans le boîtier, le boîtier est bien fermé, le porte-clés et le
boîtier se trouvent dans le périmètre de portée et sont tous les deux en marche.
BungeeAir bascule aléatoirement hors et à l’intérieur du périmètre de portée
Comme il s’agit d’un produit radio, les performances peuvent dépendre de
l’environnement dans lequel se trouve votre unité (par exemple sur un bureau, dans
une poche, près d’éléments en métal…)
Essayez d’utiliser le réglage « grand » périmètre de portée. Si le problème persiste,
essayer de déplacer le porte-clés et/ou le boîtier pour changer d’environnement. Si le
problème persiste alors que l’environnement ne présente pas d’obstacle particulier,
vérifiez les piles du porte-clés.

Funktionsweise
Es empfiehlt sich, die folgenden Schritte auszuführen. Mit diesen Schritten wird die
BungeeAir App in die Lage versetzt, eine sofortige Bildschirmsperre auszulösen, die
nur mit Ihrem eindeutigen Code entsperrt werden kann, was für einen optimalen
Schutz Ihrer gespeicherten Informationen sorgt.
1. Wählen Sie auf dem iPhone 4 „Einstellungen“ -> „Allgemein“ -> „Code-Sperre“ aus.
2. Legen Sie unter „Code anfordern“ für die Dauer fest: Sofort.
3. Drücken Sie, sofern noch keine Aktivierung besteht, auf „Code aktivieren“ und
geben Sie ein Kennwort ein.
Vergessen Sie Ihr Kennwort nicht. Sie benötigen es, um den Bildschirm Ihres iPhone 4

Stummschalten wird zurückgesetzt, sobald die Ursache des Alarms beseitigt ist.
t Ein/Aus: Das Funksignal des Anhängers kann ausgeschaltet werden, indem der
Ein-/Ausschalter in die rot markierte Position „Aus“ geschoben wird. In dieser
Position werden keine Alarme aktiviert und Anhänger und Etui kommunizieren
nicht miteinander. Vergessen Sie nicht, Ihren BungeeAir-Anhänger auszuschalten,
