INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Using a torx bit, remove both the small (A)
and large (B) grills that are attached to the
bumper.
2. Using a torx bit, remove the six torx
screws (G) that hold the side plastic
radiator shrouds to the bumper.
3. Using a flat screwdriver, remove the two
plastic fasteners from the bumper tabs (E).
4. Remove the three lower bumper bolts (D).
5. Remove the two top bumper bolts (C).
6. Install the winch mounting plate into
location as shown in “Figure 3” using the
supplied 5/16” hardware. Note: If looking at
the front of the bumper the slots will need to be
towards the back and flanges down.
7. Assemble your fairlead to the fairlead
bracket and then assemble your winch and
the fairlead bracket assembly into location
as shown in “Figure 4” to the Mounting
plate using the hardware supplied with
your winch. Note: If you are installing a Warn
4.0 you will need to use the fairlead bracket that
comes with that winch kit and discard the one
included.

8. Connect your Motor Wires to the winch
and reassemble the bumper to the frame by
re-fastening the hardware that was
removed in step 3, 4, and 5.
9. Using the instructions provided with your
winch, wire accordingly.
10. Once all wiring is complete re-assemble
items from steps 1 and 2. Note: Large grill
(B) will not be replaced, but can be replaced with
optional replacement grill sold separately.
EXTRA HELPFUL INFORMATION
Note: Some machines may vary from pictures shown due to
changes in the different series of Rangers. Pictures that are
shown are of a 2006 Ranger 700 EFI
1. For optional contactor location please see “Figure 5”
2. Mini-Rocker Switch Hardware kit. This allows you to
mount your usual handle bar mounted switch to almost
any desired location.
a. Remove handlebar mount hardware from the
switch.
b. Locate desired mounting location
c. Mark and drill two switch holes through dash
using switch housing as a template
d. Drill a 3rd hole for the switch wiring.
e. Assemble per Figure 7
3. If your kit has a corded switch “Figure 6” shows the location
for mounting the plug-in receptacle. It is pre-marked in the
plastic.
4. Ignition Wire
a. Connect the red wire from the remote or switch to
the red/white wire from the back of the ignition
switch using an in-line wire clip (not included)
