Assembly and Operating Instructions
Snow Comfort

Thank you for choosing our Snow Comfort sled from the Classics
series.
The Snow Comfort is a special sled designed for children, teen-
agers and adults. The functional, sporty design incorporates a tu-
bular railing and push handle system with solid side protec-
tion. Raised back support with adjustable headrest and sliding
tting ensure a comfortable seating. Moreover, the seat itself is
spring-loaded. Three adjustable straps are distributed over the
entire sled in the foot, waist and thigh areas.
Two independently functioning metal brakes with steering and
braking eect for ideal navigation Comfortable non-slip seat and
integrated footrests provide excellent support. May also be ope-
rated and guided by another person on the separate, foldable rear
platform.
Double wall plastic undercarriage with internal stainless steel
runners for outstanding gliding. Made of high-quality plastic re-
sistant to cold and light.
Assembly instructions provided below. All you need is a screwdri-
ver.

Seat: 1 person from 6 years of age, max. 80 kg (in sitting posi-
tion)
Trailer: 1 person from 15 years of age, max. 80 kg (in standing
position)

Assembly
• Remove both self-tapping screws on the end of the sup-
port tubes of the rear seat.
• Guide the push handle (pre-assembled with the headrest)
through the holes provided in the rear seat into the ends
of the support tube and lock it with self-tapping screws.
• Loosen the star grip nut from the holding rail of the push
handle.
• Swivel the arm brackets up into the holding rail and fasten
them with the screw and the star grip nut.
• Attach the rear platform with the supplied spring clip.

Warning notices
Read the instructions carefully before use and keep them in a
safe place. Failure to follow the instructions may aect the safety
of your child.
• Only use the sled for the purpose specied by the manufac-
turer.
• Assembly may only be carried out by an adult.
• Before use, make sure that the steering and brakes are opera-
tional, and that all screws have been carefully tightened.
• Straps must be used when doing toboggan runs. During des-
cents, straps must be secured to the seat part.
• Before riding the sled, your riding companion must check the
braking system so that the seating rider is aware of its handling
and operation.
• Do not modify the product in any way.
• Self-locking nuts must be replaced with new ones after disas-
sembly.
• Folding sleds may only to be assembled or brought into the
position of use by responsible adults.
• Do not use the product if damage has been detected.
• Only use original spare parts from the manufacturer. Available
spare parts can be found at www.khw-ersatzteile.de.
• Clean the sled with environmentally friendly agents without any
aggressive or corrosive properties.
• Store the sled in an airy and dry place.
Warranty against defects in materials or workmanship:
24 months from date of purchase

Safety regulations for parents and children
Your children should have a great and absolutely safe time in
the snow with KHW sleds. This requires proper use of the sled.
• Please observe the minimum riding age, maximum load-be-
aring capacity and the number of seats.
• Attention. To be used only under adult supervision.
• The Snow Comfort is not suitable for use by children alone, as
they are unable to control, steer and brake the sled.
• Attention. Children may only get on the sled under adult super-
vision. Risk of strangulation through the cord.
• Proactively teach children how to steer, brake and coordinate.
• Check the steering and brakes before using the sled.
• The Snow Comfort can only be used as a whole unit – dismant-
ling it put all users at risk.
• Wear suitable protective clothing including helmet, sturdy sho-
es, gloves, and protectors if necessary. Do not drive with loose-
ly hanging garments, as there is a risk of strangulation.
• Ride only on snow; avoid jumping over ramps or driving through
ice gullies.
• Be considerate of others.
• The toboggan run should not be too steep and remain free of
obstacles including stones, trees, etc.
• The toboggan run should never cross or end on a busy path
or road.
• It should be noted that high speeds, as well as hard and icy
surfaces, severely aect the steering and braking system.

• Do not allow the sled to be pulled by powered vehicles.
• Use the side rails as side handles.
• When sledding, do not place your feet in or on the sled, but
spread them forward sideways so that you can brake and steer
with your feet. Exception: sleds with steering and brakes.
• With sleds featuring steering and brakes, do not spread your
feet sideways forward, but place them in or on the bob/sled
so that you can brake and steer the vehicle safely with the side
brakes or the steering unit.
• After using the sled, remove snow and ice residue before put-
ting it away.
• Assembly instructions should be kept for future reference in
the usage and safety regulations.
Use the Snow Comfort sled at your own risk and under the re-
sponsibility of your riding companion.
