Safety Precautions
Usage Precautions
Before using the product, read the “Safety Precautions / Usage
Precautions”carefully to use it correctly. In the text, precautions to
prevent personal injury and equipment damage due to mishandling are
indicated by symbols. The meaning of each symbol is as follows.
Power supply
When using a battery
Use a commercially available battery specied in "Specications".
Carefully read the precautions stated on the battery before using.
Be sure to close the battery cover when using.
When using an AC adapter
Use an AC adapter specied in "Specications". Use an AC adapter that is
certied in your region.
Modication
Do not open the case or modify the product.
Handling the product
Do not drop, hit, or apply excessive force to the product.
Be careful not to let foreign matter or liquid enter.
Usage environment
Do not use the product in places where the temperature is extremely high or
low.
Do not use near heat sources such as heaters and stoves.
Do not use in places where the humidity is extremely high or where water
drops on the product.
Do not use in shaky places.
Do not use in sandy or dusty places.
Handling the AC adapter
Unplug the AC adapter when it will not be used for a long time or when it is
thundering.
Handling the battery
Install a battery with the correct polarity (+/-).
Use the specied battery.
Remove the battery when the product will not be used for a long time.
Connecting cables and devices
Be sure to turn o the power switch of each device before connecting cables
and devices.
Volume
Do not use at a loud volume for a long time.
Impact on other electronic devices
This product minimizes radio emission from its unit and radio frequency interference from the
outside for safety. However, it may cause an inuence if the product is set near a device very
sensitive to radio frequency interference or emitting extremely strong radio waves. In such a case,
set this product at a sucient distance from the devices of concern. Electronic devices, including
this product, may undergo unexpected accidents like malfunction as well as data corruption and
loss due to radio interference. Be careful.
Temperature
The product may get warm when it is used continuously for a long time, but if you can touch it, it
is not abnormal.
If the main body malfunctions while being used in accordance with this User's guide and in a
proper manner, we will repair or replace it free of charge within one year after the purchase.
To receive this warranty, present this written guarantee together with a certicate of purchase
date (receipt, invoice, etc.). Receiving the warranty may be dicult if you do not present such
evidence. Even within the warranty period, you will be charged for the following cases.
●Damage and malfunction due to impact or drop ●Damage and malfunction due to
incorrect handling by the user ●Damage or malfunction due to improper disassembly or
repair of the main body ●Discoloration, damage, or malfunction due to improper storage of

Maintenance
If the case gets dirty, wipe it with a dry soft cloth. If stains still remain, wipe the case with a tightly
wrung damp cloth. If a rubber or silicone part gets dirty, wipe it with a soft, lint-free, damp cloth.
Never use cleansers, waxes, or solvents such as alcohol, benzine, thinner, etc.
About malfunctions
If any malfunction or abnormality occurs, immediately turn o the power, remove the AC adapter,
battery, and all the connected cables or devices. Please contact the store where you purchased
the product or us with the following information: product model number, serial number, specic
symptoms of the malfunction or abnormality, as well as your name and telephone number.

Keep this User's Guide (warranty certicate) even after reading it.

●Insert a plug into the INPUT jack to turn on the power.
●When connecting to other devices, turn o the power and turn down the volume of all devices to prevent malfunction and damage to speakers, etc.
●Use a cable that does not have a built-in resistor for connection.
●After connecting correctly, turn on the power according to the following procedure. Otherwise, it may cause malfunction or damage to the speaker, etc.
・When turning ON this unit, turn on the amplier LAST.
・When turning OFF this unit, turn o the amplier FIRST.
Changing the Battery
●The included battery is for checking the operation only. Its life may be short.
●When turning on/o the power, turn down the volume of the amplier. Even if the volume is turned down, popping sound may occur when turning the
power on/o. However, this is not a malfunction.
●When operating the unit by only battery power, illumination at Footswitch declines counterclockwise as the battery runs out. Replace the battery as
soon as possible.
●Incorrect use of battery may cause explosion or leak. Please follow the precautions stated on the battery to use it correctly.
●To replace the battery, open the battery holder cover on the bottom and replace the battery with a new one. Pay attention to the polarity.

To restore to factory default settings,
Turn the eect ON, then press and hold SAVE button for at least 10 seconds until
all the illumination starts blinking orange.
Then, press each of SAVE, M1, M2 and M3 buttons in order within another 10
seconds before the blinking stops.

Footswitch
Turns the eect on or o.
The illuminated color indicates the
selection as shown below.
The illumination will also serve as a
battery level gauge. As the battery runs
out, the illuminated lights will blink and
turn o in a counterclockwise direction.
TONE knob / 3-band Equalizer
Turn this knob clockwise to get high frequency tone and
counterclockwise to cut Highs, enhancing the Mids.
Long-Press this knob when the eect is ON to enter the 3-band
Equalizer mode (Illumination lights up white). Adjust Treble (by
LEVEL knob), Mid (by TONE knob), and BASS (by GAIN knob). To
save the settings and exit from the equalizer mode, press any of
the 4 knobs or Footswitch.
Long-Press when the eect is OFF in Buered Bypass mode to
adjust Bypass TONE (3-band Equalizer) and ACCENT. Adjust
TONE by the same procedure as above. Adjust ACCENT by
ACCENT knob illuminated blue.
LEVEL knob / Instrument Select (Guitar or Bass)
Turn this knob to adjust the output level.
Long-Press to select the instrument (Guitar/Bass) to use.
Chose Guitar mode if too much low frequency is disturbing in a
band ensemble.
Illumination at Footswitch lights red in Guitar mode, and blue
in Bass mode.
MEMORY buttons
3 patterns of favorite sound settings can be memorized.
Adjust sound by each knobs then press the SAVE button, then
press any of the M1 to M3 buttons to memorize. To recall the
memorized sound, press the button assigned, or press the
button on Memory Footswitch A1-F (sold separately).
*Do not Long-Press (10 sec.) SAVE button. It will reset the
system and delete your memory setup.
INPUT jack
Connect to the instrument or the output of other eect pedals.
The power turns on when the plug is inserted (even if the eect
is turned o) and turns o when removed.
To prevent battery consumption, unplug when not in use.
Bypass switch
Select True Bypass or Buered Bypass when the eect is turned
o. Buered bypass outputs rich and clear sound at default
settings or adjusted favorable sound.
GAIN knob / DRIVE SHIFT
Turn this knobclockwise to increase inputgainforharder
distortion. The sound ge ts close to cle an bypass tone at
minimum gain in Crunch mode.
Long-Press (1 sec.) this knobto shiftdrive modes in the orderof
Crunch ⇒OverDrive ⇒Distortion ⇒Fuzz (⇒re turn to Crunch).
Illumination colorchanges as noted below.
OUTPUT jack
Connect to an amplier or the input of other eect pedal.
CONTROL jack
Connect to an external Memory Footswitch A1-F (sold
separately) to recall memorized sound setup. Use stereo phone
plug.
Tuning Meter
Tuning Meter functions when the eect is turned o in Buered Bypass
mode. Illumination rotates clockwise when the pitch is high and
counterclockwise if its low. Tune the strings until the rotation stops. The
tuner is set for Guitar at default. Long-Press the LEVEL knob to switch to
Bass tuner. Guitar mode or Bass mode can be determined by whether
the Footswitch illumination is lit in “white & red” or “white & blue” .

ACCENT knob / ILLUMINANCE
This knob adjusts the Expansion/Compression of input Dynamic
Range.
Turn this knob clockwise to get more expansion eect on drive
control by players picking strength, or by volume control on
guitar. Turn counterclockwise to get more compression eect
for percussive note at low gain, or longer sustain at high gain.
Long-Press (1 sec.) then rotate this knob to adjust illumination
brightness.
