Calibration Mode. For factory use only.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING! DO NOT use the digital torque adaptor if damaged or thought to be faulty.
1. DO NOT apply force to the digital torque adaptor when the power is off. Always turn it on before using it,
otherwise it will be damaged.
2. DO NOT turn off the digital torque adaptor while torque is being applied to it.
3. DO NOT exceed the permitted maximum torque value. To do so will cause it to break.
4. DO NOT subject the 1/2” connectors to any force other than a rotational one.
5. Ensure that all components, including all adaptors, extensions, drivers and sockets are rated to match or
exceed the torque being applied.
6. Observe all equipment, system and manufacturer’s warnings, cautions and procedures when using this digital
torque adaptor.
7. Use the correct size socket for the fixing.
8. DO NOT use sockets that are worn or cracked.
9. Check the digital torque adaptor matches or exceeds each torque application before proceeding.
10. Ensure all workshop safety rules, regulations, and conditions are complied with when using this digital torque
adaptor.
11. Maintain correct balance and footing. Ensure the floor is not slippery and wear non-slip shoes.
12. Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the working area.
13. DO NOT press, pressure or damage the LCD display.
14. DO NOT use near strong magnetic fields.
15. DO NOT subject to excessive force or shocks.
16. DO NOT drop or throw the digital torque adaptor.
17. DO NOT leave the digital torque adaptor in any place exposed to excessive heat, humidity or direct sunlight.
18. DO NOT use organic solvents such as alcohol or thinners for cleaning.
19. DO NOT submerge in water or any other liquid.
20. DO NOT dissassemble the digital torque adaptor.
21. To ensure accurate measurement, periodic re-calibration is necessary. Take Digital Torque Adaptor to a
Specialist.
22. After use, clean with a soft dry cloth and store it in a safe, childproof location away from any heat sources.
Avoid dusty, damp or humid conditions.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
No Assembly is required for the K8035 Digital Torque Adaptor.
WARNING!
1. Your Kincrome Digital Torque Adaptor is a precision instrument and should be treated as such.
2. Always store the Kincrome Digital Torque Adaptor in the protective blow mould case when not in use.
3. If your Kincrome Digital Torque Adaptor is dropped, knocked, even in the protective blow mould case,
or any parts have been replaced, the Kincrome Digital Torque Adaptor must be immediately
re-calibrated prior to next use.
4. To avoid damage to the Kincrome Digital Torque Adaptor, never use it with the power OFF.

OPERATION OF THE DIGITAL TORQUE ADAPTOR
GETTING STARTED
1. Before you get started, you MUST remove the clear plastic strip located on the rear of the product, to activate
the included batteries.
QUICK START GUIDE
NOTE: Select the appropriate tool required for the task at hand.
For small Torque Applications, use a Ratchet (do not exceed the capabilities of the ratchet).
For large Torque Applications use a Flexi Bar/Breaker Bar
1. Fit the Kincrome Digital Torque Adaptor to your ½” Drive Ratchet or Breaker Bar, via the Drive Adaptor (10).
2. Once secure, fit the appropriate socket you for your task at hand on the ½” Square Drive (3) of the Digital
Torque Adaptor.
POWER ON
1. Press and Release the ON/OFF Button (4) to turn on the LCD Display (2) (Fig 01).
The LCD Display will show “Trace” or “PtoP”.
2. After 2 seconds the LCD Display will show 0.0.
3. The unit is now ready to measure Torque Ratings.
NOTE: If you do not use the Kincrome Digital Torque Adaptor for 80 seconds, the
unit will turn off automatically.
HOW TO SELECT UNITS
1. Press the Memory Button (6) and Peak & Trace Button (7) together to select
different Torque Units (Fig 02).
2. When you change units the target setting will also be changed to the new units value.
3. The digital torque Adaptor contains 5 units of measure - kg/cm, kg/m, in/lb, ft/lb, Nm
HOW TO SELECT “TARGET TORQUE VALUE”
To Increase
1. Press and hold the Increase Button (+) (9) to increase the current target value (Fig 03).
2. The target value will show on the LCD Display (2) for 10 seconds
3. After 10 seconds the LCD Display (2) will show 0.0.
To Decrease
1. Press and hold the Decrease Button (-) (8) to lower the target torque value (Fig 03).
2. The target will show for 10 seconds
After 10 seconds, the LCD Display (2) is 0.0.
Using The Target Torque Value
1. When you start measuring, you will see the green light on. When you have reached 80% of target, you will see
the yellow light on and hear an intermittent buzzer to warn you that you are approaching the target value.
2. When you reach your target value, you will see the red light on and hear the buzzer alarm.
3. Stop applying torque.

HOW TO SET “PEAK OR TRACE”
Peak
The Torque Adaptor will display the highest measured reading applied.
1. Press and release the “Peak – Trace” Button (7) when the digital torque adaptor is ON (Fig 04).
2. The LCD Display (2) shows “PtoP”.
3. The LCD Display (2) shows 0.0 after 2 seconds.
Trace
The Digital Torque Adaptor will display the torque reading in real-time.
1. Press and release the “Peak – Trace” button (7) when the digital torque adaptor is ON (Fig 05).
2. The LCD Display (2) shows “trACE”.
3. The LCD Display (2) shows 0.0 after 2 seconds
HOW TO SET MEMORY
The Kincrome Digital Torque Adaptor will record up to 50 torque value readings at one time.
1. The Digital Torque Adaptor will only record torque value readings if set to “Ptop” mode.
2. Press the Memory Button (6) for at least 1 second and release (Fig 06).
3. The display shows the memory number is “PO1” than “Torque Value”.
4. Press the Memory Button (6) for at least one second one more time.
5. The display shows the torque memory number is “PO2” than “Torque Value”.
6. “Po1” is the latest reading “P50” would be the oldest.
