Before you start
WARNING - Be aware of the risk of open fire and other sources of strong heat, such as
electric bar fires, gas fires, etc. in the near vicinity of the cot.
WARNING - Do not use this child’s cot if any part is broken, torn or missing and use
only spare parts approved by Kinder Valley.
WARNING - Do not leave anything in the cot or place the cot close to another product,
which could provide a foothold or present a danger of suffocation or strangulation,
eg. strings, blind/curtain cords etc.

This Kinder Valley cot conforms to BS EN 716-1:2017.
This Kinder Valley cot is suitable from birth to approximately 3 years.
To be prevent injury, the cot should not be used as soon as the child is able to climb out
of the cot unaided.
The lowest mattress base position is the safest, the base should always be used in that
position as soon as the baby is old enough to sit up.
This cot is intended to be used by one child at a time.
Thickness of the mattress shall be such that the internal height (surface of the mattress to
the upper edge of the cot frame) is at least 500mm in the lowest position of the cot base
and at least 200mm in the highest position of the cot base.
We recommend you use any Kinder Valley mattress size 120cm x 60cm x 10cm. The
length and width shall be such that the gap between the mattress and sides and ends
does not exceed 30mm.
Use only on firm ground which is on a horizontal level and dry.
All assembly fittings should be tightened properly and fittings should be checked regularly
and retightened as necessary.
This cot is designed to be dismantled and packed flat for storage or transportation.
In order to clean, use only a mild detergent and warm water. Do not bleach
or use any abrasive substances.
