1. Vorwort
Bevor Sie das Produkt verwenden, lesen Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig durch. Die in diesem Handbuch
gezeigten Bilder dienen nur als Referenz und können sich vom realen Produkt unterscheiden. Wenden Sie sich an den
örtlichen Händler, um Unterstützung bei der Wartung zu erhalten.
Im ständigen Bemühen, das Produkt zu verbessern, behalten wir uns das Recht vor, Funktionen oder
Parameter ohne vorherige Ankündigung oder Verpflichtung zu ändern. Die neuesten Informationen
erhalten Sie von Ihrem Kindermann Fachhändler.
2. Sicherheitshinweise und Vorsichtsmaßnahmen
• Lesen Sie die Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig durch und bewahren Sie diese auf.
• Packen Sie die Lautsprecher vorsichtig aus und heben Sie die Originalverpackung und das
Verpackungsmaterial für einen eventuellen späteren Versand auf.
• Befolgen Sie die grundlegenden Sicherheitsvorkehrungen, um die Gefahr von Bränden,
Stromschlägen und Verletzungen von Personen zu verringern.
• Sorgen Sie dafür, dass niemand auf das Netzkabel tritt und dass es nicht gequetscht wird,
insbesondere an Steckern und Steckerbuchsen.
• Önen oder modifizieren Sie die Lautsprecher niemals. Dies kann zu Stromschlägen oder
Verbrennungen führen.
• Verwenden Sie nur die vom Hersteller angegebenen Zusatzgeräte/Zubehörteile.
• Die Verwendung von Verbrauchsmaterialien oder Teilen, die nicht den Produktspezifikationen
entsprechen, kann zu Beschädigung oder Fehlfunktion führen.
• Reinigen Sie die Lautsprecher nur mit einem trockenem Tuch.
• Wenden Sie sich bei allen Wartungsarbeiten an qualifiziertes Servicepersonal.
• Durch Ausschalten des POWER-Schalters werden alle Funktionen gestoppt und die Anzeigen
des Verstärkers erlöschen. Das Gerät wird aber nur durch Ziehen des Netzsteckers vollständig vom
Stromnetz getrennt. Deshalb müssen Netzstecker und Steckdose leicht zugänglich sein.
• Das System darf nur in trockener Umgebung gelagert und eingesetzt werden.
• Stellen Sie das Gerät an einem gut belüfteten Ort auf, um Schäden durch Überhitzung zu vermeiden.
• Hinweise zur Entsorgung von Altgeräten: Das Gerät darf nicht mit dem Hausmüll entsorgt werden,
sondern ist über den Handelsweg zurückzugeben.
• Vergewissern Sie sich vor der Installation, dass alle Komponenten und Zubehörteile enthalten sind.
• Alle Netzschalter, Stecker, Steckdosen und Netzkabel müssen isoliert, geerdet und sicher sein.
• Alle Kabel sollten vor dem Einschalten angeschlossen werden.

3. Produktbeschreibung
Die Modelle Kindermann Aktivbox Set50 W/Kindermann Aktivbox Set50+ WBT sind 5 Zoll-Lautsprecher-Sets,
bestehend aus einer aktiven und einer passiven Lautsprecherbox. Das Set Kindermann Aktivbox Set50+ WBT ist
zusätzlich noch mit einem drahtlosen BT-Empfänger, einer Fernbedienung und einem Eingang zur Lautstärkeeinstellung
per Fernbedienung (0-10VDC) ausgestattet. Es handelt sich um ein kompaktes Stereo-Profi-Set, sehr leicht zu bedienen
und zu einem attraktiven Preis.
Dank seiner fantastischen Leistung und seines einzigartigen Designs ist es zur Integration in eine Vielzahl von
Multimedia-Anwendungen bestens geeignet: Unterrichtsräume, Besprechungsräume, Geschäftslokale, usw.

6. Montage
In der Verpackung der Modelle Kindermann Aktivbox Set50 W/Kindermann Aktivbox Set50+ WBT finden Sie alles
Notwendige für die Installation der beiden Einheiten.
Es sind folgende Grundregeln zu beachten:
• Stellen Sie die Einheit immer auf festen Untergrund.
• Für eine zufriedenstellende Tonwiedergabe dürfen zwischen den Lautsprechern und dem Publikum keine
Hindernisse stehen.
• Passen Sie die Schalldruckpegel an die Wiedergabebedürfnisse an. Trotz ihrer geringen Abmessungen haben die
Modelle Kindermann Aktivbox Set50 W/Kindermann Aktivbox Set50+ WBT eine weitaus bessere Leistung als
Heimlautsprecher.
6.1. Vorgehensweise zur Wandmontage
1. Bohren Sie entsprechend den Bohrungen in der Halterung drei Löcher mit je 6 mm in die Wand.
2. Setzen Sie drei Dübel (6 mm) in die Bohrlöcher ein.
3. Befestigen Sie das Sicherungskabel an der Halterungsrückseite.
4. Setzen Sie die Halterung an den Einbauort und führen Sie vorher das Sicherungs- und das Lautsprecherkabel
durch die quadratische Önung der Halterung. Befestigen Sie die Wandhalterung an der Wand.
5. Schließen Sie das Netzkabel, das Signaleingangskabel und das Verbindungskabel zwischen den beiden Einheiten
an die Stecker der Gehäuserückseite an. Achten Sie auf die richtige Polarität der Euroblock-Steckverbinder.
6. Bringen Sie den Lautsprecher in seine Endstellung. Setzen Sie ihn über die Führung an der Rückseite in die Führung
der Halterung und schieben Sie ihn nach unten.
7. Befestigen Sie das Sicherungskabel an der Rückseite des Lautsprechers, damit dieser nicht herabfallen und somit
Schäden oder Verletzungen verursachen kann.
8. Richten Sie den Lautsprecher vertikal und horizontal wie gewünscht aus. Drehen Sie die Innensechskantschrauben
der Halterung fest, um die Stellung zu fixieren.

5. Fit the bracket in place, after threading the line and loudspeaker wire through the
square hole in the bracket. Secure the bracket to the wall:
6. Connect the power supply cables, signal input and link between the two units to
the connectors on the rear part of the housing. Ensure correct polarity in the
Euroblock terminals.
7. Place the acoustic box in its final position, sliding it vertically downwards so that
the rear side of the rail slots into the bracket rail.
8. Secure the safety wire on the rear part of the acoustic box to ensure that it does
not accidentally fall and cause any material and/or personal damage.
9. Orientate the box to achieve the required position on the vertical and horizontal
axes. Tighten up the Allen screws on the bracket to fasten this position on both
axes.

7. Inbetriebnahme
7.1. Kindermann Aktivbox Set50 W
Schalten Sie zur Inbetriebnahme die MASTER-Einheit (L) über den Schalter an der Rückseite ein und stellen Sie die
Lautstärke und den Equalizer auf die gewünschten Werte ein.
Sie können die gewünschte Audioquelle (symmetrischer oder asymmetrischer Eingang) durch Drücken des Drehreglers
für die Lautstärkeeinstellung wählen.
7.2. Kindermann Aktivbox Set50+ WBT
Schalten Sie zur Inbetriebnahme die MASTER-Einheit (L) über den Schalter an der Rückseite ein und stellen Sie die
Lautstärke und den Equalizer auf die gewünschten Werte ein. Durch Drücken des Drehreglers für die Lautstärke-
einstellung schalten Sie das Gerät stumm.
Sie können die gewünschte Audioquelle (symmetrischer oder asymmetrischer Eingang oder drahtlose Verbindung)
durch Drücken des entsprechenden Bedienknopfes an der Fernbedienung (BAL, UNBAL oder BT) wählen.
7.2.1. Drahtloser Anschluss
Drücken Sie die Taste BT, um die Betriebsart drahtlose Verbindung zu wählen. Zur BT-Ankopplung zeigt sich das Modell
Kindermann Aktivbox Set50+ WBT auf anderen Geräten als Kindermann Aktivbox Set50 W+ (Passwort: "0000").
Sobald die Ankopplung an das Sendegerät erfolgt ist, arbeitet das Modell Kindermann Aktivbox Set50+ WBT als
Empfänger/Wiedergabegerät der vom Sender ausgehenden Audiosignale.
Hinweis: Um das System vor eventuellen elektrischen Überlastungen zu schützen, ist eine Netzsicherung in
einen schraubbaren Sicherungshalter an der Rückseite der MASTER-Einheit eingeschraubt. Schmilzt diese, schalten
Sie das Gerät ab, nehmen Sie es von der Wandhalterung ab, entfernen Sie das Netzkabel vom Gerät, drehen Sie
den Sicherungshalter heraus, entnehmen Sie die Sicherung und ersetzen Sie sie durch eine gleichwertige.
Falls die neue Sicherung gleich danach wieder schmilzt, wenden Sie sich an unseren Kundendienst.
7.2.2. Fernbedienung (nur bei Kindermann Aktivbox Set50+ WBT - Art.-Nr. 8750000131)













ON/OFF: Ein-/ausgeschaltet. Die grüne LED leuchtet auf, wenn das Gerät eingeschaltet ist.
Ist das Gerät ausgeschaltet, so leuchtet keine LED.
LED-Display: Lässt die LED aufleuchten/erlöschen, während das Gerät in Betrieb ist. Wird das Gerät erneut
eingeschaltet, so geht diese Funktion auf den Standardwert zurück: LEDs erleuchtet.
MUTE: Stummschaltung. Die rote LED blinkt, wenn das Gerät stummgeschaltet ist.
BT: Drahtlose BT-Verbindung. Die blaue LED leuchtet auf, wenn bei Drücken der BT-Taste eine BT-Verbindung
vorliegt. Ist keine Ankopplung vorhanden, so leuchtet die blaue LED nicht auf.
UNBAL: Wahl des nicht symmetrischen RCA-Stereoeingangs als Audio-Eingangsquelle.
BAL: Wahl des symmetrischen Euroblock-Stereoeingangs als Audio-Eingangsquelle.
Volume: Erhöht oder reduziert die Lautstärke um jeweils 1 Schritt (verfügbarer Bereich 0-36 Schritte).
Funktioniert nur bei eingeschaltetem Gerät.
Bass & Treble: Erhöht oder reduziert Bässe/Höhen um jeweils 1dB (verfügbarer Bereich von -7 bis +7dB).
BT priority: Ist die BT-Priorität aktiviert, so hat eine eventuell festgestellte drahtlose Verbindung immer Priorität
über alle anderen Audioeingänge und das Gerät schaltet automatisch auf diese Betriebsart um.
 Auto Standby: Langes Drücken (2 sec) aktiviert/deaktiviert die Auto-Standby-Funktion. Ist die Funktion aktiviert,
so geht das Gerät nach 2,5 min ohne anliegendes Audiosignal und ohne Betätigung der Fernbedienung in den
Ruhezustand.
 Reset: Langes Drücken (5 sec) stellt das Gerät auf seine Standardwerte zurück:
BT-Priorität ON, Lautstärke = 30, Bässe = 0, Höhen = 0.
 Flat: Langes Drücken (5 sec) stellt das Gerät auf seine Standard-Equalizer-Werte zurück:
Bässe = 0, Höhen = 0.
Hinweis: Die Schaltflächen Zurücksetzen und Flat werden nur aktiviert, wenn die Standardwerte geändert wurden.
7.2.3. Fernbedienungseingang (nur bei Kindermann Aktivbox Set50+ WBT - Art.-Nr. 8750000131)
REMOTE-Port:
Der REMOTE-Anschluss vom Typ RJ45 ermöglicht den Anschluss einer Wand-Bedienkonsole vom Typ WPaVOL
(0-10VDC) zur Einstellung des allgemeinen Ausgangspegels. Der Anschluss erfolgt mittels Cat-5 Standardkabel
zwischen Wandkonsole WPaVOL und der REMOTE-Buchse an der MASTER-Einheit.
Da bei einem Lautsprecherset Kindermann Aktivbox Set50+ WBT eine Bedieneinheit vom Typ WPa gleichzeitig
mit anderen Bedienelementen vorhanden ist (Drehregler an der Rückseite, Fernbedienung oder Einstellung über
REMOTE-Port) haben immer die jeweils zuletzt vorgenommenen Einstellungen Vorrang.
Wird zum Beispiel die Lautstärke über eine mit dem REMOTE-Port verbundene Wandkonsole WPaVOL eingestellt
und danach werden die eingestellten Parameter über den Drehregler an der Rückseite verstellt, so gilt die zuletzt
vorgenommene Einstellung. Wird danach erneut die Einstellung an der Wandkonsole verändert, so übernimmt das
Set Kindermann Aktivbox Set50+ WBT erneut die von dieser vorgegebenen Werte.
Hinweis: Die grüne LED leuchtet immer dauerhaft, wenn das Gerät eingeschaltet ist, und blinkt, wenn Aktivitäten
der Fernbedienung festgestellt werden (Fernbedienung oder 0-10VDC-Port).

9. RS232 Bedienung
Das RS232-Modell Kindermann Aktivbox Set50+ WBT verfügt über 3 Signaleingänge: Bluetooth, symmetrischer und
unsymmetrischer Audio-Eingang.
Neben den Bedienknöpfen auf der Rückseite kann der Lautsprecher auch über die beiliegende Infrarot-Fernbedienung
oder durch einen PC oder eine Mediensteuerung über den RS232-Anschluss gesteuert werden.

9600 Baudrate; 1 Stopbit; keine Parität; Übertragungsintervalle größer als 80 ms.

Bluetooth Priorität: Sobald die Bluetooth-Verbindung hergestellt ist, wechselt der Lautsprecher automatisch zur
Bluetooth-Quelle. Die Bluetooth-Priorität ist standardmäßig eingestellt.
Auto Standby: Wenn die Auto-Standby-Funktion aktiviert ist und für 2 Minuten kein Signal an der ausgewählten Quelle
anliegt, wechselt der Lautsprecher in den Auto Standby-Modus.
So verlassen Sie den Standby-Modus:
Sobald wieder ein Signal an der ausgewählten Eingangsquelle anliegt, oder durch drücken der POWER-Taste,
schaltet sich der Lautsprecher wieder ein. Auto Standby ist standardmäßig eingestellt.
Wenn Bluetooth des Lautsprechers nicht mit einem Sender verbunden ist, befindet es sich permanent im Pairing-Status
und kann gefunden werden.

1. Foreword

2. Safety Instructions and precautions
• Read the operating instructions carefully and keep them in a safe place.
• Carefully unpack the unit and save the original packaging and packing materials for possible future shipment.
• Follow basic safety precautions to reduce the risk of fire, reduce electric shock and injury to persons.
• Make sure that nobody steps on the power cord and that it is not crushed, especially at plugs and sockets.
• Never open or modify the unit. This may result in electric shock or burns.
• Only use the additional devices/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
• The use of consumables or parts that do not meet the product specifications may result in damage
or malfunction.
• Clean the speakers only with a dry cloth.
• Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
• Turning o the POWER switch stops all functions and the indicators of the amplifier go out.
However, the device is only completely disconnected from the mains by pulling out the mains plug.
Therefore, the mains plug and socket must be easily accessible.
• The system should only be stored and used in a dry environment.
• Place the unit in a well-ventilated location to prevent damage from overheating.
• Notes on the disposal of old equipment: The device may not be disposed of with the household waste,
but must be returned via trade channels.
• Make sure that all components and accessories are included before installation.
• All power switches, plugs, sockets and power cords must be insulated, grounded and secure.
• All equipment should be connected before switching on.

3. Product description
The Kindermann Aktivbox Set50 W / Kindermann Aktivbox Set50+ WBT models are 5-inch speaker sets consisting
of an active and a passive speaker box. The Kindermann Aktivbox Set50+ WBT set is additionally equipped with a
wireless BT receiver, a remote control and an input for volume adjustment via remote control (0-10VDC).
It is a compact stereo professional set, very easy to use and at an attractive price.
Thanks to its fantastic performance and unique design, it is suitable for integration into a wide range of
multimedia applications: Classrooms, meeting rooms, business premises, etc..

6. Mounting
In the packaging of the Kindermann Aktivbox Set50 W / Kindermann Aktivbox Set50+ WBT models you will find
everything necessary for installing the two units.
The following basic rules must be observed:
• Always place the unit on solid ground.
• For satisfactory sound reproduction, there must be no obstacles between the loudspeakers and the audience.
• Adjust the sound pressure levels to the playback needs. Despite their small dimensions, the Kindermann Aktivbox
Set50 W / Kindermann Aktivbox Set50+ WBT models have a much better performance than home speakers.
6.1. Procedure for wall mounting
1. Drill three holes of 6 mm each into the wall according to the holes in the bracket.
2. Insert three dowels (6 mm) into the drilled holes.
3. Attach the fuse cable to the back of the holder.
4. Place the bracket in the installation location and route the fuse cable and speaker cable through the square opening
of the bracket beforehand. Attach the wall bracket to the wall..
5. Connect the power cable, the signal input cable and the connecting cable between the two units to the connectors
on the rear of the housing. Make sure that the polarity of the Euroblock connectors is correct.
6. Move the speaker to its final position. Place it over the guide on the back into the guide of the bracket and slide it
down.
7. Attach the safety cable to the back of the speaker to prevent it from falling and causing damage or injury.
8. Align the speaker vertically and horizontally as desired. Tighten the Allen screws of the bracket to fix the position.

5. Fit the bracket in place, after threading the line and loudspeaker wire through the
square hole in the bracket. Secure the bracket to the wall:
6. Connect the power supply cables, signal input and link between the two units to
the connectors on the rear part of the housing. Ensure correct polarity in the
Euroblock terminals.
7. Place the acoustic box in its final position, sliding it vertically downwards so that
the rear side of the rail slots into the bracket rail.
8. Secure the safety wire on the rear part of the acoustic box to ensure that it does
not accidentally fall and cause any material and/or personal damage.
9. Orientate the box to achieve the required position on the vertical and horizontal
axes. Tighten up the Allen screws on the bracket to fasten this position on both
axes.

7. Commissioning
7.1. Kindermann Aktivbox Set50 W
To start up, turn on the MASTER unit (L) using the switch on the rear panel and set the volume and equalizer
to the desired values.
You can select the desired audio source (balanced or unbalanced input) by pressing the volume control knob.
7.2. Kindermann Aktivbox Set50+ WBT
To start up, switch on the MASTER unit (L) using the switch on the rear panel and set the volume and equalizer
to the desired values. Press the volume control knob to mute the unit.
You can select the desired audio source (balanced or unbalanced input or wireless connection) by pressing the
corresponding control button on the remote control (BAL, UNBAL or BT).
7.2.1. Wireless connection
Press the BT button to select the wireless connection operating mode. For BT pairing, the Kindermann Aktivbox
Set50+ WBT model shows up on other devices as Kindermann Aktivbox Set50 W+ (password: "0000"). As soon as
the pairing to the transmitter device has taken place, the Kindermann Aktivbox Set50+ WBT model works as a
receiver/playback device of the audio signals coming from the transmitter.
Note: To protect the system from possible electrical overloads, a mains fuse is screwed into a screwable fuse holder
at the rear of the MASTER unit. If this melts, switch o the unit, remove it from the wall bracket, remove the power cord
from the device, unscrew the fuse holder, remove the fuse and replace it with an equivalent one. If the new fuse melts
again immediately afterwards, contact our customer service.

ON/OFF: Switched on/o. The green LED lights up when the device is switched on.
If the device is switched o, no LED is illuminated.
LED display: Makes the LED light up/go out while the device is in operation.
When the device is switched on again, this function returns to the default value: LEDs lit.
MUTE: The red LED flashes when the device is muted.
BT: BT wireless connection. The blue LED lights up if a BT connection is present when the BT button is pressed.
If there is no pairing, the blue LED does not light up.
UNBAL: Selection of non-balanced RCA stereo input as audio input source.
BAL: Selection of balanced Euroblock stereo input as audio input source.
Volume: Increases or decreases the volume by 1 step at a time (available range 0-36 steps).
Works only when the device is turned on.
Bass & Treble: Increases or decreases bass/treble by 1dB each (available range from -7 to +7dB).
BT priority: If BT priority is enabled, any wireless connection detected will always have priority over all other
audio inputs and the unit will automatically switch to this mode.
 Auto Standby: Long press (2 sec) activates/deactivates the auto-standby function. If the function is activated,
the device goes into standby mode after 2.5 min without an applied audio signal and without operating the
remote control.
 Reset: Long press (5 sec) resets the device to its default values:
BT priority ON, Volume = 30, Basses = 0, Trebles = 0.
 Flat: Long press (5 sec) resets the unit to its default equalizer values:
Basses = 0, Trebles = 0.
Note: The Reset and Flat buttons are only activated if the default values have been changed.
7.2.3. Remote control input (only Kindermann Aktivbox Set50+ WBT - Ref. No. 8750000131)
REMOTE-Port:
REMOTE connector of RJ45 type enables connection of WPaVOL (0-10VDC) type wall-mounted control panel for
adjustment of general output level. The connection is made by means of Cat-5 standard cable between WPaVOL
wall console and REMOTE socket on MASTER unit.
Since a Kindermann Aktivbox Set50+ WBT speaker set has a WPa type control unit at the same time as other control
elements (rotary control on the rear panel, remote control or setting via REMOTE port), the settings made last in each
case always have priority.
For example, if the volume is set via a WPaVOL wall console connected to the REMOTE port and then the set parameters
are adjusted via the rotary control on the rear panel, the last setting made will apply. If the setting on the wall console is
then changed again, the Kindermann Aktivbox Set50+ WBT set will again adopt the values specified by the console.
Note: The green LED is always on solid when the unit is powered on and flashes when remote control activity is
detected (remote control or 0-10VDC port).

9. Function and related RS232 code
The RS232 model Kindermann Aktivbox Set50+ WBT includes 3 signal input sources: Bluetooth (optional), unbalance
input and balance input. Besides the speaker rear panel, the speaker also can be controlled by infrared remote control or
by PC or other professional AV control system through the RS232 port.
9.1. RS232 communication setting
Baud rate: 9600; stop bit: 1; No parity bit; Transmission intervals greater than 80 ms.
The sending code format is hexadecimal and the receiving code format is ASCII.
