KIOSHI INTERACTIVE PIANO SILENT SYSTEM User manual

Introduction
Congratulations with your new Kioshi Interactive
Piano Silent System! Kioshi is one of the most
advanced intelligent systems to make your
acoustic piano a smart piano. Plug in your
headphones, switch the lever and play your
piano in silence with Kioshi. Play your favourite
songs whenever you want, no-one will be
disturbed.
What does it do more?
Apart from letting you play in silence, Kioshi houses
a ton of features to enjoy. For instance, you can not
only play the piano, but also a harpsichord, an organ,
or any other of the 129 sounds in the system.
It has multiple useful piano learning functions like a
metronome and a record function, but you can
also connect Kioshi over bluetooth with your
favourite piano learning app. If that isn’t enough, you
get two headphone outputs and the possibility to
connect Kioshi to your computer over MIDI or USB.
The rest? We will tell you all about it in this user
manual.

the DC-barrel is plugged into the back of the control box.

Check if the control box is turned on and your headphone is plugged in. !
Also check if the keyboard cable is plugged in properly.
I hear strange noises while
playing.
1. Check if your headphone jack is fully plugged in.
2. Sometimes interference occurs when a mobile phone or other wireless

Symptoms

The metronome is on but I can’t
hear it ticking.
Make sure you set the metronome volume in the options menu under
MetroVol.
My computer doesn’t recognise
Kioshi when connected over USB.
Kioshi doesn’t need any drivers to work. Make sure your USB connection is
solid, and make sure your software settings are correct. Or try to connect to
another device.
My tablet or phone doesn’t
recognise Kiohsi when connected
over Bluetooth.
Kioshi is a standard Bluetooth MIDI device and should connect to any
Bluetooth MIDI enabled application. Please check if the app you’re using is
supporting standard Bluetooth MIDI.
The control box shuts down after
some time in standby.
This is correct. You can set the ‘auto power-offtime’ to 30, 60 or 90 minutes
in the settings under PowerOff.
There’s another problem with my
Kioshi Silent System.
Please contact your Kioshi dealer for further assistance.
