• Select one of the 3 included logos, either the sticker
version or the transparency film version.
• Stickers are slightly smaller than the display area.
• Film is longer than the display area so you can slide
the film underneath the left and right housing to
secure it.
• After securing your sticker or film, look at the back
of the Display. You will see what is shown in the
graphic at right. Prepare the metal mount for the
next step.
• Slide the metal mount into the back of the Display, pushing
the metal mount upward, into the slide in the middle, as
shown in the graphic at left.
• Bend the metal mount into a position that suits your
particular installation.
• The Display’s wires can be run as you like, behind the
mount as shown at left, or even through the mount’s hole.
• Lastly, place the 2-sided tape on the mount and affix.
• You can now plug in the 2 connectors into the Controller
as shown at right.
• Mount Controller to your liking with included 2-sided tape.
• Arm your alarm system, or turn off the car’s Ignition
to have the LM700 start flashing. If it won’t flash, you
need to recheck your wiring and reseat connectors.
• Secure the Display’s wire harness in the little hook, as
shown in the graphic on the right.
* NEVER connect to both Alarm & Ignition!
Ignition connection must be (–)GND when
Ignition is OFF.

Changing the Flashing Patterns
Important Installation Advice
You must do this while the product is powered up.
Plug the Display’s connector into the Controller after making the 3-wire connections.
!
Controller
Program SW
• To change the pattern, simply press the Program Switch while the LM700 is flashing.
• With each subsequent press, the pattern will change. There are 8 patterns total.
• After selecting Pattern #8, the next press will select Pattern #1 again.
• Connect all 3 wires and confirm your connections first, then plug in the connector.
• DO NOT splice +12v & (–)GND from your car alarm’s +12v & (–)GND connections. The
only wire coming from your car alarm to the LM700 is the alarm’s (–) GWA output.
• For best results, and to ensure no connections will loosen over time, use solder.
• DO NOT put electrical tape or corrugate tubing over the LED Display wires. They are
already black, so you do not need a covering. Most cases of “smashed wires” are found
in situations where the installer uses a wire-covering. Such is not covered under warranty.
• If you connect to the Ignition (e.g., you don’t have an alarm), you must purchase the
optional GAP-2 to ensure electrical noise does not destroy the LEDs. LEDs destroyed by
electrical noise are not covered under warranty.
• Two LEDs illuminate the display from the side. We do not guarantee 100% uniform lighting.
