ISTRUCTIONS FOR USE
OFF
ON -HIGH
LOW
Turn the knob with built-in piezo ignition to the HIGH
position. Press the knob and check through the front
slot that there is a visible flame. Push in and hold the
knob for a few seconds to start the thermocouple. This
will keep the burner alight after the knob is released.
If ignition does not occur wait for 1 minute and then
repeat the same procedure.
Leave the knob on “high” for 7 minutes so as to allow
the cooking griddle to reach the temperature of 230°C,
then turn it to the desired heat setting..
USEFUL TIP. A quick easy way to know if the griddle is
ready for use is to dribble a few drops of water on the
surface 7 minutes after ignition:
If the water evaporates the griddle has
not reached the ideal temperature.
If the water sizzles vigorously then the griddle is ready
for cooking. Start cooking at maximum temperature,
then turn the heat setting to low after approx. one
minute.
To turn off the barbecue turn the knob clockwise until
the OFF position is reached. Turn off the gas cylinder
or natural gas supply system.
NOTE
BB 80 AEG has two knob
Tips
After every use, allow the barbecue to cool off and
then clean the drip tray.
The barbecue flame can be seen through the slot on
the front panel.
Do not leave the barbecue lit for long when not in use.
Do not leave the lit barbecue unattended.
DO NOT MODIFY THE BARBECUE.
Any modification or inappropriate use will void the
warranty and could result in a safety hazard.
