Assembly instructions
1. Insert the side support frame in to
the feet (Fig 1a) by pressing in the
push pins and fully inserting until the
push pins have come through the
holes. Fig 1b.
NOTE. Ensure the xing belt clips
are on the same side as the spring
loaded feet.
2. Connect the crossbar to the
feet (Fig 2a), align the bracket and
secure in place using the bolts and
tighten with the provided Allen key.

3. With the drop side of the crib
facing the same way as the spring
loaded feet, slot the top frame
into the top of the side supports
(Fig3a) and push downwards fully
until the clips are seated correctly.

4. Wrap the material around the
side support frame and secure in
place with Velcro. Fig4.

Crib Mode
5. Slide the bassinette crib liner
support bar into the crib liner pocket
and attach the liner to the inside of
the crib with the zip. Fig 5. and insert
the mattress Fig 5a.
6. Ensure the drop side rail is
attached to the top of crib Fig 5a
and that the zips have been fully
done up and are connected to the
clips in the pockets. Fig 6.
7. To select a different height, slide the
top button upwards and then press
inwards and select desired height.

The crib can be used in ve
different heights and the head end
can be a maximum of two heights
higher than the foot end.
NOTE. Never use the crib with the foot
end higher than the head end.
8. To use the storage function, undo
the press studs and undo the outer
zips located on the bottom of the
crib section. Fig 8a. Drop the height of
the crib to its lowest height and press
the foot board clips on to the cross
bar to secure in place. Figs 8b + 8c.
CAUTION
Always apply the brakes when the
product has been positioned in its
place of intended use.

Playpen Mode
9. Undo the press studs and undo
the outer zips located on the
bottom of the crib section. Fig 9a.
Drop the height of the crib to its
lowest height and press the foot
board clips on to the cross bar to
secure in place. Figs 9b + 9c. Insert
mattress. Fig 9d.
NOTE. Always use the playpen at
its lowest height possible and never
remove the drop side rail.
CAUTION
Always apply the brakes when the
product has been positioned in its
place of intended use.
Press down to lock wheels in place.

Co Sleeper Mode
10. Unzip the front panel on both
sides. Fig 10a. Slide the buttons
sideways and lift the bar upwards
on both sides. Fig 10b. Roll the bar
and panel up and secure with the
elastic loops. Fig 10c.
11. Attach the xing belts to the side
supports. Fig 11.
12. Ensure the feet are extended
as far as possible to the adults
bed. Fig 12.
CAUTION
Always apply the brakes when the
product has been positioned in its

WARNING!
Before every use always check to make sure there is no space between the parents
mattress and the side of the co sleeper.
If any space is found, pull the belts rmly to tighten until there is no space left and the
correct position has been restored.
Only suitable for beds with straight sides.
Not suitable for beds with round mattresses or water beds.
When the product is used in the bedside sleeping mode, it should always be tted to the
long side of the bed.
Do not x the co sleeper to the head or bottom of the bed.

Never use the Nebula Crib in co sleeping mode without the anchor plate.
Ensure the plates are securely attached to the adult bed.

13. Move the co sleeper next to the
parents bed and check the height of
the co sleeper compared with the
mattress on the bed. Fig 13.
The side support of the co sleeper
should always be placed close to the
parents mattress. The mattress should
always be aligned with the height of
the side support to restrain the co
sleeper.
14. To x the co sleeper to the parents
bed in bedside sleeping mode, use
the pair of xing belts provided. Slide
the straps between the
mattress and the bed base using a
back and forth ‘sawing motion’ and at
the same time pulling downward until
the straps and anchor plates are in
the desired position. Fig 14.

CAUTION! Ensure the xing belts are

1 Tighten the loop by pulling the belts
rmly. Fig 16.
Adjust the belts separately until the
sleeper is rmly in contact with the bed
mattress.
Store any excess of belts between the
mattress and the bed base.

General Care:
This product has been designed and developed with safety, comfort and functionality in mind. Please take the
time to read this manual carefully before using this product and keep it in a safe place for future reference.
•Do not use excessive force when adjusting the product.
•Always store the product in a dry place.
•The correct use and maintenance of this product is essential.
•The thickness of the mattress must be such that the vertical height (upper surface of the mattress until the
upper edge of the product’s sides) is at least 200 mm.
•If you purchase a mattress separately, make sure it is suitable for the product.
•Keep the fastening belts away from the reach of children.
Maintenance:
• Check that nothing is loose or broken and that no sharp edges have been exposed. Replace any damaged
parts immediately.
•Routinely inspect all studs, nuts and screws for tightness. Do not use replacement parts other than those
approved by the manufacturer or distributor. Failure to do this may invalidate your warranty.
•DO NOT use crib if any parts are missing, damaged, or broken. Contact Red Kite for replacement parts and
instructional literature if needed. DO NOT substitute parts.
Crib Mode:
• This product is intended for one child weighing up to a maximum of 9kg.
• When a child is able to sit, kneel or to pull itself up, the crib shall not be used anymore for this child.
• Children should not be allowed to play unsupervised in the vicinity of a crib.
• The crib should be locked in the xed position when in use.
• Do not use the product if any part is broken, torn or missing.
• The thickness of the mattress chosen shall be such that the internal vertical height (surface of the top of the
mattress to the upper edge of the bed sides) is at least 200mm in the highest position of the bed base .Do
not use more than one mattress in the crib.
• The product must always be placed on a horizontal surface. Never leave the product on an inclined
surface with the child inside of it.
• Be aware of the risk of burning cigarettes open re and other sources of strong heat, such as electric bar
res, gas res, etc. In the near vicinity of the crib.
• Keep the fastening belts away from the reach of children.
• Do not leave any object inside the product that could reduce its depth.
• Do not position the crib near walls and obstacles to prevent trapping hazards.
• Do not leave small objects inside the product to prevent choking hazards.
• Do not adjust or move the product with the child inside.
• Do not use the product with more than one child at a time.
• The product must be kept away from electric cables and cords. Do not place the product near
windows where cords, curtains or similar objects could pose choking or strangling hazards for the child.
• All assembly ttings should always be tightened properly and that care should be taken that no screws are
loose as a child could trap parts of the body or clothing (e.g. strings, necklaces, ribbons for babies dummies,
etc), which would pose a risk of strangulation.
• Do not use the body of the crib without its frame.
• Always use the crib with the drop side rail in place.
• Complies with BS EN 1130 - 1 : 1997

Crib In Co Sleeper Mode:
• SUFFOCATION HAZARD - INFANTS HAVE SUFFOCATED IN GAPS BETWEEN EXTRA PADDING AND SIDE OF
BASSINET/CRADLE AND ON SOFT BEDDING.
• USE ONLY THE MATTRESS PROVIDED BY MANUFACTURER.
• NEVER ADD A PILLOW, COMFORTER OR ANOTHER MATTRESS FOR PADDING.
• STRANGULATION/SUFFOCATION HAZARD: THE TOP EDGE OF THE LOWERING BAR MUST BE LEVEL WITH
OR BELOW THE TOP OF THE ADULT MATTRESS WHEN USED AS THE BEDSIDE SLEEPER. THE LEVEL OF THE
BEDSIDE SLEEPER BASSINET MATTRESS MUST BE A MINIMUM OF 10 CM BELOW THE FOP EDGE OF THE
LOWERING BAR.
ENTRAPMENT HAZARD –TO PREVENT DEATH FROM ENTRAPMENT, THE CO SLEEPER MUST BE PROPERLY
SECURED TO THE ADULT BED USING THE ATTACHMENT SYSTEM
STRANGULATION HAZARD: When the anchor plate and strap assembly are not in use, store in a safe place
not accessible to children.
DO NOT allow children to climb or play on or under unit in any conguration.
FALL HAZARD: Remove infant from the bedside sleeper before starting any conversions.
• Before use in co sleeper mode (xed to the bed), make sure the product is securely anchored and
positioned.
• When the product is used in co sleeper mode(xed to the bed), make sure the connection belts are
hooked and tensioned properly, before laying child in the sleeper. The co sleeper must be secured to the
parents mattress and no gaps between the product and the adult mattress shall be present.
• Keep the fastening bells out of reach of children.
• Failure to follow these warnings and instructions could result in serials injury or death.
• Never use the Nebula crib in co sleeper position without the anchor plate attached and locked as shown in
the instructions. Failure to use this anchoring system could result in serious injury or death to the infant. Make
sure all straps are secured and tight.
• To reduce the risk of SIDS, pediatricians recommend healthy infants be placed on their backs to sleep, un-
less otherwise advised by your physician.
• A co sleeper is designed to provide a sleeping area for an infant until he or she begins to push up on
hands and knees or approximately 5 months of age. Move your child to another sleeping product when
your child reaches this stage.
• NEVER raise the level of the bedside sleeper bassinet mattress.
Make sure all straps are secured and tight when used in the bedside sleeper position. Tighten straps
periodically.
• NEVER leave your infant in the product without the TOP HORIZONTAL RALL installed in the upper most
position ,unless securely attached to the adult bed. Failure to use this securing system will allow the bedside
sleeper to move away from the adult bed and could result in the infant falling out of the bedside sleeper
bedside bassinet.
• Always make sure all top and bottom rails are securely locked, in all congurations, before putting an infant
child into the unit.
• To prevent serious or fatal injury from falls always keep child within arms reach.
• NEVER leave your child unattended.
• The bedside sleeper is designed for use only with adult beds that are between 55-66cm from oor to top
of adult mattress.

Warnings:
• WARNING! Do not use this product without reading the instructions rst.
WARNING! – Stop using the product as soon as the child can sit or kneel or pull itself up.
WARNING! – Do not place additional items (e.g. toys, pillows…) in the product.
WARNING! – Do not place the product close to another product, which could present a danger of suffoca-
tion or strangulation, e.g. strings, blind/curtain cords, etc.
WARNING! – Do not use more than one mattress in the product.
Cleaning:
•Fabric may be spot cleaned by using a sponge with a mild soap and warm water solution. Leave to dry in
a ventilated area away from direct sunlight. Do not dry clean, machine wash, bleach or tumble dry.
•Metal parts may be cleaned with a damp cloth. Always wipe dry.
•Clean plastic parts with a mild soap and warm water solution.
•The mattress cover can be removed and machine washed at 40 degrees on a gentle cycle.
•Avoid leaving the product in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as this may cause fabrics to fade.

Playpen Mode:
• Suitable for babies from birth - approximately 36months.
• FALL HAZARD-To prevent falls, do not use folding cot once the infant has reached the maximum weight of
13KGS or a height of 85CM tall.
• WARNING - Do not use the playpen without the base.
• WARNING - Do not place the playpen close to an open re or other heat source.
• WARNING - Ensure that the playpen is fully erected and all the locking mechanisms engaged before
placing your child in this playpen.
• IMPORTANT: The mattress is included and is designed specically for this playpen.
• SUFFOCATION HAZARD-Infant can suffocate in gaps between an extra pad or mattress..
• Do not use mattress other than the one supplied by the manufacturer. Using an incorrect mattress can
cause death.
• Do not add an extra mattress as this may cause suffocation.
• Use only accessories as recommended by the manufacturer.
• Ensure the top rails and base are fully locked.
• Use only spare parts as recommended by the manufacturer.
• Failure to follow warnings and instructions could result in serious injury or death.
• Do not use your playpen if any part of cot is broken ,torn or missing.
• Do not leave anything in the playpen (such as toys) that could provide a foothold.
• All assembly ttings should always be tightened properly.
• Keep the playpen clear of trailing cables and hanging cords.
• Do not use the folding cot if fabric or padding on the side rails or end rails has been bitten through.
• Never leave your child unattended.
• Use this product with only one child at time.
• Always use the playpen with the drop side rail in place.
