How to Use
Connecting Socket:
- Micro USB: for supplying power and firmware
update.
- Power mode S/W : For firmware update
-3.5mm Jack: for analog audio/video signal
output
-HDMI Socket: for digital audio/video output
! Note The default mode is of power mode S/W
is Micro USB side.

Connecting
- Power: prepare Kivic ONE, Kivic genuine cigar jack and USB cable.

Connect the cigar jack type power
charger to the vehicle’s cigar jack.
Connect the USB cable to the
cigar jack type power charger
and other end to micro USB
socket of Kivic ONE.
Place Kivic ONE in a secured
location to prevent from
moving while driving.
!ATTENTION
IT IS POSSIBLE TO INSTALL KIVIC ONE UNDER THE VEHICLE’S DASH BOARD;HOWEVER,THE ENTIRE
DASHBOARD HAS TO BE REMOVED FIRST AND CONNECT THE PROVIDED FUSE BOX TYPE POWER SUPPLY
DIRECTLY TO VEHICLE’S FUSE BOX.IF NOT PROPERLY DONE,IT WILL CAUSE PROBLEMS FOR USER’S VEHICLE SO
WE RECOMMEND USERS TO SEEK HELP FROM PROFESSIONAL INSTALLERS.
- Connecting A/V sockets: Prepare RCA cable or AUX cable depending on available socket in your
vehicle.

per color and Kivic ONE’s 3.5mm jack. Red and
white are for stereo audio socket and yellow is
composite video socket. Some vehicle models do
not support composite video socket and in this
case, video and image files are not supported.

SOME OF THE OLDER MODELS HAVE A/V SOCKET INSTALLED UNDER THE DASHOBOARD.IN THIS CASE,KIVIC

REMOVED FIRST AND CONNECT THE PROVIDED FUSE BOX TYPE POWER SUPPLY DIRECTLY TO VEHICLE’S FUSE

Power
Once power cable is connected to Kivic ONE’s USB socket, power comes on automatically. If
connected in the vehicle, power comes on when vehicle is either on ACC mode or engine is
started.
If Kivic ONE is connected using composite video or HDMI cable, user should see the initial
page and main page of Kivic ONE once power is on.

Use
2.1
Connecting wirelessly
User can connect Kivic ONE to user’s smart phone wireless without a need of separate wireless router.
User can enjoy multimedia contents stored in smart phone via this connection in the vehicle.
Kivic ONE Preparation
-Make sure Kivic ONE is installed properly
-Check if Kivic ONE is on or not using A/V system in vehicle
!ATTENTION
IF POWER IS PROPERLY SUPPLIED,KIVIC ONE’S STATUS LED SHOULD BE ON
Smart phone preparation
-Go to smartphone’s wireless or WiFi set up menu
-Make sure smartphone’s wireless or WiFi function is activated.
-Search for available wireless network or WiFi network list.
-Choose ‘Kivic ONE xxx’ from the list.
-When asked for password, enter the 8 digit password on the screen.
Your phone should be connected to Kivic ONE by now and you can enjoy your multimedia contents
stored in your smartphone by mirroring or streaming.
!ATTENTION
FOR SMARTPHONE’S WIRELESS OR WIFI CONNECTION SET UP,PLEASE REFER TO USER’S SMARTPHONE MANUAL.

5. Safety and General Information
For the efficient and safe operation of your product, observe these manual-lines.
Genuine accessory product from Kivic is mandatory.
Connect your product with the phone and adjust the settings before driving to ensure your
attention and focus remain on driving safely.
All air bag inflates with great force. Do not place your product in the area over the air bag area.
If your product is improperly placed and the air bag inflates, serious injury could result.
Keep your product away from small children and pets. Small parts may cause chocking or
serious injury if swallowed.
Observe all signs and instructions regarding the use of an electrical device or RF radio product
in designated areas, such as gas stations, hospitals, potentially explosive atmospheres or
aircraft.
Use only provided chargers specifically designed for your product. Do not use the chargers for
any other purpose.
Never place your product on or in heating devices, such as microwave ovens, stoves, or
radiators. Battery may explode when overheated.
Do not allow your product to get wet. Liquid and moisture can cause serious damage to electric
devices.
Do not separate, repair nor remodel your product arbitrarily. If repair is needed, please contact
us or your dealer.
Do not use any chemical solvents or detergent. The use of chemicals on your product may
cause damage to it. Turn your product off and use a soft dry cloth to clean the phone.
If you use any other medical devices, please consult a physician or the manufacturer of the
