
5. Manual calibration / Basic setting
The seconds hand may possibly lose its synchronisation with the digital time.
This can happen due to external electromagnetic sources or heavy impact.
If that happens, press simultaneously Aand Bfor approx. 5 seconds. The top LCD Display
displays CAL and in the large display SPO (second position) allowing you to set the
seconds hand. The seconds field starts flashing. By pressing the button Ain steps you can
rotate the seconds hand step by step exactly up to 12 o‘clock. Finally, press C to confirm.
The large LCD Display now changes to HPO (Hour Position) and the digital starts flashing.
Now, you need to set the same time in the digital display like the current position of the
watch’s hands.
To set the digital hour to the same value of the analogous hour press the button A.
Thereafter, press the button C to confirm and to set the minute.
(An example in the images: Hands are at 10:08 -> Set the digital display also on 10:08
and set the seconds hand on 12.)
Now the LCD Display displays MPO (Minute Position) and the digital minute starts flashing.
Press Ato set the same for the analogous minute. Now the LCD Display shows the same
time as the position of watch’s hands.
Complete the calibration by briefly pressing B, until the large LCD field displays “RX”.
Now the signal search starts and the hands begin to rotate once the signal reception is successful.
In the top left LCD field, an antenna symbol appears if the signal reception was successful.
6. Changing the digital world time zone manually and activating/deactivating the DST / Summer time
When the Mode 2 is displayed, (or the large LCD Display is displaying a particular time zone), press Bfor
approx. 3 seconds. The world time zone in the large Display starts flashing. Press Ato change this. Thereafter, press C
to go to the next setting (DST / Summer time “ON”/ “OFF”). By pressing Ayou can change this.
Now confirm this by pressing B; the world time gets updated automatically.
7. Stopwatch
By pressing the button Cyou can change over to stopwatch “CHR”(the display shows STW). Press Ato start or to stop the stopwatch. By pressing B
you can set the stopwatch to zero position. By pressing the button B you can activate the SPLIT mode during a measurement to calculate the
split time.
8. Measuring devices barometer, altimeter, relative altitude measurement and thermometer
The modes 4 to 7 in Item 2 show the measuring options and unit.
To covert a unit, press in the respective mode the button A. To update the values, press the button B.
Barometer: hPa (Hectopascal); inHg (Inches of Mercury) Altimeter: M(meters); FT (feet)
Relative altitude measurement: M(meters); FT (feet) Thermometer: °C (degrees Celsius); °F (degrees Fahrenheit)
