SAFETY INFORMATION
WARNING: To reduce the risk of injury and property damage, you must read this entire
manual before assembling and operating this kettle.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric sho, or personal injury, only use the kettle
with the power base provided. Do NOT use any accessory attaments that are not
recommended by the manufacturer.
CAUTION: Incorrect use of the kettle may cause serious burns; therefore, full attention
should be given at all times. To reduce the risk of injury:
•Do NOT tou hot surfaces. Use the handle.
•Do NOT fill the kettle above the “MAX” indicator line. This may cause water to
boil over.
•Do NOT remove the lid during the boiling cycle as scalding may occur. Be
aware of steam being emitted from the spout or lid, especially during refilling.
Position the lid so that steam is directed away from the handle.
•ALWAYS handle with care when there is hot water inside the kettle to avoid
scalding or burns.
General Safety
When using this kettle, always follow basic safety precautions, including the following:
• Only use the kettle as directed in this manual.
• Do NOT use the kettle to heat anything other than water. Do NOT turn the kettle on if
there is a possibility of frozen water in the kettle.
• Do NOT cover the spout opening while the kettle is in operation.
• Do NOT operate the kettle if the water is below the “MIN” indicator line.
• To avoid spillage on the connector, do NOT fill the kettle when it is positioned on the
power base. Dry the bottom of the kettle before placing it onto the power base.
• Do NOT use the kettle if it is damaged, malfunctioning, or if the power cord or plug is
damaged in any way. Do NOT try to repair the kettle. Contact Customer Support.
• To avoid electric sho and prevent moisture from causing a short circuit in the power
base, always unplug the kettle when in the following conditions:
‒ No water in the kettle.
‒ Filling the kettle with water.
‒ Before cleaning or moving the kettle.
‒ When not in use.
• Ensure that the kettle is turned off before removing it from the power base.
• Allow the kettle and the power base to cool before cleaning. The heating element in the
power base is subject to residual heat afteruse.
• Do NOT use outdoors. This kettle is for household use only.
• Do NOT place the kettle on or near heat sources, su as stove tops, ovens, radiators, etc.
Place the kettle on a dry, flat surface.
• Closely supervise ildren near the kettle. Do NOT allow ildren to use or play with
thekettle.
• Do NOT immerse the kettle, power base, power cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
• Do NOT leave the kettle unattended while in use.

Plug and Power Cord Safety
• Do NOT let the power cord (or any extension cord) hang over the edge of a table or
counter. Do NOT allow the power cord to tou hot surfaces. Arrange the power cord so
that it cannot be pulled on by ildren, become entangled, or tripped over.
• Use extension cords with care. The marked electrical rating of an extension cord should be
at least as high as the rating of the kettle. (See "Tenical Specifications" on page 8.)
• The kettle has a polarized plug (one prong is wider than the other), whi fits into a
polarized outlet only one way. This is a safety feature to reduce the risk of electric sho.
If the plug does not fit, do NOT use the plug in that outlet. Do NOT bypass this safety
feature.
• For additional protection, we recommend the use of a power outlet with a rated current
of10 A. To avoid circuit overload, do not operate another high-amperage appliance on the
same circuit.

GETTING TO KNOW THIS KETTLE
This section identifies the features and parts of this kettle.
Features
The kettle has the following features:

BEFORE FIRST USE
Perform the water test before using the kettle for
the first time or if the kettle has not been used for a
while. The water test removes particles and makes
sure the kettle is working properly.
NOTE: Do not drink any water used during this
water test.
Water Test
1. Remove all paaging from the kettle,
including any temporary labels and stiers.
2. Completely unravel the power cord and place
the power base on a flat, level surface.
3. With the kettle off the power base, press the
lid release button to open the lid.
4. Fill the kettle with water to the “MAX” line on
the water gauge.
5. Push down on the lid to close thelid.
6. Place the kettle on the power base.
7. Plug the power cord into a power outlet
(120VAC).
8. Press the On/Off swit to turn the kettleon.
The indicator light turns on and the water
starts heating.
The kettle automatically turns off once the
water has finished boiling.
9. Once the On/Off swit indicator light turns
off, discard the water from the kettle.
10. Repeat Steps 3–9 at least two times to clear
the kettle of any tiny particles.

USING THIS KETTLE
This kettle is only suitable for boiling water. Do not
boil other liquids in this kettle.
Boiling Water
1. Remove the kettle from the power base and
place the kettle on a dry, level surface for
filling.
2. Press the lid release button and fill the kettle
with water.
NOTE: The water level must sit between the
"MIN" and "MAX" line.
3. Push down on the lid to close thelid.
4. Place the kettle ba on the power base and
then plug the power cord into an outlet.
5. Press the On/Off swit to turn the kettleon.
The indicator light turns on and the water
starts heating.
The kettle automatically turns off once the
water has finished boiling.
6. Lift the kettle from the power base, then pour
the hot water into the desired container.
NOTE:
• You can stop the heating process at any time
by flipping the On/Off swit to Off.
• This kettle has a boil-dry safety feature.
Ifthere is no water in the kettle, the kettle
automatically turns off to prevent the power
base from overheating.
• If the kettle overheats, fill it with cold water
and wait two minutes before using again.

CLEANING AND STORAGE
To prolong the kettle’s life, clean the mineral deposits in the kettle regularly and properly store
when not in use.
Cleaning
CAUTION: Unplug the kettle and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
NOTICE: Do not use emical, steel wool, or abrasive cleaners to clean the outside of the
kettle, as these will scrat the surface.
To clean the kettle:
1. Fill the kettle with 2 cups (0.5 L) white vinegar and the remainder with water (to the
"MAX" level mark) and allow it to stand for at least one hour.
2. Discard the solution from the kettle.
3. Wipe off any remaining deposits with a clean, damp cloth.
4. Fill the kettle with clean water, bring to a boil, then discard the water.
5. Repeat Step 4.
6. The outside of the kettle may be wiped with a clean, damp cloth, then polished with a
soft, dry cloth.
7. The power base may be wiped with a clean, damp cloth.
NOTE: Any other servicing should be performed by an authorized service representative.
Storage
To store the kettle:
1. Unplug the kettle and allow it to cool completely.
2. Make sure that all parts are clean and dry.
3. Store the kettle in its box or in a clean, dry place.

Kobi warrants all products to be of the highest quality in material, craftsmanship, and service,
effective from the date of purase to the end of the warranty period.
Kobi will replace any product found to be defective due to manufacturer flaws based on
eligibility. Refunds are available within the first 30 days of purase. Refunds are only available
to the original puraser of the product. This warranty extends only to personal use and does
not extend to any product that has been used for commercial, rental, or any other use for whi
the product is not intended. There are no warranties other than the warranties expressly set
forth with ea product.
This warranty is non-transferrable. Kobi is not responsible in any way for any damages, losses,
or inconveniences caused by equipment failure by user negligence, abuse, or use non-compliant
with the user manual or any additional safety, use, or warnings included in the product
paaging and manual.
This warranty does not apply to the following:
• Damage due to abuse, accident, alteration, misuse, tampering, or vandalism.
• Improper or inadequate maintenance.
• Damage in return transit.
• Unsupervised use by ildren under 18 years of age.
Kobi and its subsidiaries assume no liability for damage caused by the use of the product other
than for its intended use or as instructed in the user manual. Some states do not allow this
exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential losses so the foregoing disclaimer may
not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other
rights whi may vary from state to state.
