Location
Using the unit in the following locations can result in a malfunction.
z In direct sunlight
z Locations of extreme temperature or humidity

Power supply
Please connect the designated AC adapter to an AC outlet of the correct voltage. Do not
connect it to an AC outlet of voltage other than that for which your unit is intended.
Interference with other electrical devices
Radios and televisions placed nearby may experience reception interference. Operate this unit at
a suitable distance from radios and televisions.
Handling
To avoid breakage, do not apply excessive force to the switches or controls.
Care
If the exterior becomes dirty, wipe it with a clean, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners such as
benzene or thinner, or cleaning compounds or ammable polishes.

After reading this manual, please keep it for later reference.
Keeping foreign matter out of your equipment
Never set any container with liquid in it near this equipment. If liquid gets into the equipment, it
could cause a breakdown, re, or electrical shock.
Be careful not to let metal objects get into the equipment. If something does slip into the

Incorrect operation or malfunction may cause the contents of memory to be lost, so we
recommend that you save important data on USB storage devices or other media. Please be

Setup
Checking the accessories
This unit includes the following accessories:

Connecting
This section describes how to connect an audio player or musical instrument to this unit, output
sound through speakers or headphones, and start playing.
NOTE
• Make sure that all devices are turned o before connecting. A careless operation may
cause an electric shock, damage the speaker system, or result in a malfunction.
• If you connect an electric guitar or electric bass directly to this unit, loud noises may be
generated. We recommend that you connect such a device to this unit via a direct box
or amp simulator.
• When connecting this unit to your Windows PC using the USB cable to use USB AUDIO,
install the KORG KaossReplay Audio Driver.
Download the software from the KORG website.

1.Connect the included AC adapter cable to the [DC IN] jack on the rear
panel of the unit.
2.Plug the AC adapter to an outlet.
3.Connect instruments and external devices as needed.

NOTE
Use a cable that’s no more than 3 m long when connecting your external devices to
this unit.
4.Set the volume of all the devices to the minimum level.
To adjust the volume of this unit, use the following knobs.
• Adjustment of input volume level
- [LINE/PHONO IN]: [INPUT VOLUME] knob
- [MIC] jack: [MIC TRIM] knob
• Adjustment of output volume level
- [AUX IN] input and [LINE OUT]: [OUTPUT VOLUME] knob
- GROUP A(/B): [LEVEL] fader of GROUP A(/B)
- Headphones: [PHONES VOLUME]: knob
5.Turn on this unit and the external device.
NOTE
Be sure to follow the order described below. If an excessively loud sound is output, it
may lead to a hearing impairment or device failure.
• Turn the unit/devices on in the following order: input device -> this unit -> output device.
• Turn the unit/devices o in the following order: output device -> this unit -> input device.
• [POWER] switch: Turns the unit on and o
(To turn the power o, hold down this switch for a few seconds.)
6.Adjust the volume of the [LINE/PHONO IN] jack.
1. Press the [LINE/PHONO] button (the button lights up), and turn on the LINE/PHONO
input.
2. Play the input device such as a CD player.
3. Adjust the volume level using the [INPUT VOLUME] knob until the [SIGNAL/PEAK] LED
momentarily lights up red.
HINT
• If the LED does not light up, also adjust the output volume of the CD player or
other devices.
• To connect a record player, set the [INPUT SEL] switch to [PHONO] (pressed state).
* Before operating the [INPUT SEL] switch, be sure to set the volume of this unit
and the connected devices to the minimum level.
• Use the [PHONO GAIN] switch to adjust the gain as needed.
* Before operating the [PHONO GAIN] switch, be sure to turn o this unit and all
the devices connected to this unit.

7.Adjust the level of the microphone connected to the [MIC] jack.
1. Press the [MIC] button (which lights up), and turn on the microphone input.
2. While holding down the [SHIFT] button, press the [MIC] button.
The "Mic Setup" screen is displayed.
3. Adjust the input level using the [MIC TRIM] knob until the "CLIP" indicator on the screen
momentarily lights up red.
8.Play Demo Project.
Use the Demo sound source in the SD card to output sound.
1. Check that the following knobs are set to the minimum level (turned all the way to the
left).
• [OUTPUT VOLUME]: knob
• [PHONES VOLUME]: knob
2. Press the trigger pad that is lit to play an audio clip (audio).
• If you press any trigger pad, an audio clip is played.
• The method for making sound diers depending on which color the trigger pad lights up.
3. Turn the [OUTPUT VOLUME] knob and [PHONES VOLUME] knob slowly clockwise to adjust
the output volume level.
• Adjust the output volume level to the powered speakers or headphones.
• If no MAIN OUT sound is output from the [PHONES] jack, turn the [MONITOR MIX] knob to the MAIN
side.
9.Adjust the volume level of the output devices such as the powered
speakers and headphones.
• If no sound is produced from the output device connected to the [LINE OUT] jack, check whether the
volume on the output side is appropriately adjusted.

Vérication des accessoires

Raccordement
Cette section décrit comment raccorder un lecteur audio ou un instrument de musique à cet
appareil, émettre le son via les enceintes ou le casque et commencer à jouer.
NOTE

• Allumez l’appareil/les dispositifs dans l’ordre suivant: dispositif de sortie -> cet appareil -> dispositif
d’entrée.
• Commutateur [POWER]: permet d’allumer et d’éteindre l’appareil.
(Pour l’éteindre, maintenez ce commutateur enfoncé pendant quelques secondes.)
6.Réglez le volume de la prise [LINE/PHONO IN].

7.Réglez le niveau du micro raccordé à la prise [MIC].
1. Appuyez sur la touche [MIC] (qui s’illumine) et allumez l’entrée de micro.
2. Tout en maintenant la touche [SHIFT] enfoncée, appuyez sur la touche [MIC].
L’écran «Mic Setup» s’ache.
3. Réglez le niveau d’entrée à l’aide de la commande [MIC TRIM] jusqu’à ce que l’indicateur
«CLIP» à l’écran s’illumine momentanément en rouge.
8.Lisez un projet de démo.
Utilisez la source sonore de démo dans la carte SD pour émettre le son.
1. Vériez que les commandes suivantes sont réglées sur le niveau minimal (tournées
complètement à gauche).
• Commande [OUTPUT VOLUME]
• Commande [PHONES VOLUME]
2. Appuyez sur le pavé de déclenchement qui est illuminé pour lire un clip audio (audio).
• Si vous appuyez sur un pavé de déclenchement, un clip audio est lu.
• La méthode d’émission du son dière selon la couleur dans laquelle s’illumine le pavé de
déclenchement.
3. Tournez la commande [OUTPUT VOLUME] et la commande [PHONES VOLUME] lentement
dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre pour régler le niveau du volume de sortie.
• Réglez le niveau du volume de sortie sur les enceintes actives ou le casque actif.
• Si aucun son MAIN OUT n’est émis par la prise [PHONES], tournez la commande [MONITOR MIX] du
côté MAIN.
9.Réglez le niveau du volume des dispositifs de sortie, tels que les enceintes
actives et le casque actif.
• Si aucun son n’est produit par le dispositif de sortie raccordé à la prise [LINE OUT], vériez si le volume
du côté sortie est réglé correctement.

z Bestimmte Bildpunkte („Pixel“) sind immer aus (dunkel) oder an (hell).

z Ab und zu erscheinen horizontale Streifen bzw. Schatten.

Handhabung von Daten

Anschließen
In diesem Abschnitt wird beschrieben, wie ein Audioplayer oder ein Musikinstrument an
dieses Gerät angeschlossen, der Ton über Lautsprecher oder Kopfhörer ausgegeben und die
Wiedergabe gestartet wird.
NOTE
• Achten Sie vor dem Anschließen darauf, dass alle Geräte ausgeschaltet sind.
Eine unvorsichtige Bedienung kann einen elektrischen Schlag verursachen, das
Lautsprechersystem beschädigen oder zu einer Fehlfunktion führen.
• Wenn Sie eine E-Gitarre oder einen E-Bass direkt an dieses Gerät anschließen, kann es
zu lauten Geräuschen kommen. Wir empfehlen Ihnen, ein solches Gerät über eine DI-
Box oder einen Verstärkersimulator an dieses Gerät anzuschließen.
• Wenn Sie dieses Gerät über das USB-Kabel an Ihren Windows-PC anschließen, um USB-
AUDIO zu verwenden, installieren Sie den KORG KaossReplay Audio Driver.
Laden Sie die Software von der KORG-Website herunter.

2.Stecken Sie den AC-Adapter in eine Steckdose.

4.Stellen Sie die Lautstärke aller Geräte auf den niedrigsten Pegel ein.
Um die Lautstärke dieses Geräts anzupassen, verwenden Sie die folgenden Regler.

5.Schalten Sie dieses Gerät und das externe Gerät ein.
NOTE
Achten Sie darauf, die unten beschriebene Reihenfolge einzuhalten. Wird ein zu lauter
Ton ausgegeben, kann dies zu einer Hörschädigung oder einem Geräteausfall führen.
• Schalten Sie das Gerät bzw. die Geräte in der folgenden Reihenfolge ein: Eingangsgerät -> dieses Gerät
-> Ausgangsgerät.
• Schalten Sie das Gerät bzw. die Geräte in der folgenden Reihenfolge aus: Ausgangsgerät -> dieses
Gerät -> Eingangsgerät.
• [POWER]-Schalter: Schaltet das Gerät ein und aus.
(Um das Gerät auszuschalten, halten Sie diesen Schalter einige Sekunden lang gedrückt).
6.Passen Sie die Lautstärke der [LINE/PHONO IN]-Buchse an.
1. Drücken Sie die [LINE/PHONO]-Taste (die Taste leuchtet auf) und schalten Sie den LINE/
PHONO-Eingang ein.
2. Geben Sie das Eingabegerät, wie z. B. einen CD-Player, wieder.
3. Passen Sie den Lautstärkepegel mit dem [INPUT VOLUME]-Regler an, bis die [SIGNAL/
PEAK]-LED kurzzeitig rot aueuchtet.
HINT
• Falls die LED nicht aueuchtet, passen Sie auch die Ausgangslautstärke des CD-
Players oder anderer Geräte an.
• Um einen Plattenspieler anzuschließen, stellen Sie den [INPUT SEL]-Schalter auf
[PHONO] (gedrückter Zustand).
* Achten Sie vor dem Betrieb des [INPUT SEL]-Schalters darauf, die Lautstärke dieses
Geräts und der angeschlossenen Geräte auf den niedrigsten Pegel einzustellen.
• Verwenden Sie den [PHONO GAIN]-Schalter, um die Verstärkung nach Bedarf
anzupassen.
* Achten Sie vor dem Betrieb des [PHONO GAIN]-Schalters darauf, dieses Gerät und
alle an dies Gerät angeschlossenen Geräte auszuschalten.

7.Passen Sie den Pegel des an die [MIC]-Buchse angeschlossenen Mikrofons
an.
1. Drücken Sie die [MIC]-Taste (leuchtet auf) und schalten Sie den Mikrofoneingang ein.
2. Drücken Sie bei gedrückt gehaltener [SHIFT]-Taste auf die [MIC]-Taste.
Der„Mic Setup“-Bildschirm wird angezeigt.
3. Passen Sie den Eingangspegel mit dem [MIC TRIM]-Regler an, bis die„CLIP“-Anzeige auf
dem Bildschirm kurzzeitig rot aueuchtet.
8.Geben Sie das Demo-Projekt wieder.
Verwenden Sie die Demo-Tonquelle auf der SD-Karte zur Tonausgabe.
1. Überprüfen Sie, ob die folgenden Regler auf den niedrigsten Pegel eingestellt sind (ganz
nach links gedreht).
• [OUTPUT VOLUME]-Regler
• [PHONES VOLUME]-Regler
2. Drücken Sie das leuchtende Trigger Pad, um einen Audioclip (Ton) wiederzugeben.
• Wenn Sie ein beliebiges Trigger-Pad drücken, wird ein Audioclip wiedergegeben.
• Die Methode der Tonerzeugung hängt davon ab, in welcher Farbe das Trigger-Pad aueuchtet.
3. Drehen Sie den [OUTPUT VOLUME]-Regler und den [PHONES VOLUME]-Regler langsam
im Uhrzeigersinn, um den Ausgangslautstärkepegel anzupassen.
• Passen Sie den Ausgangslautstärkepegel für die Aktivlautsprecher oder Kopfhörer an.
• Falls kein MAIN OUT-Ton aus der [PHONES]-Buchse ausgegeben wird, drehen Sie den [MONITOR
MIX]-Regler auf die MAIN-Seite.
9.Passen Sie den Lautstärkepegel der Ausgabegeräte wie Aktivlautsprecher
und Kopfhörer an.
• Wenn von dem an der [LINE OUT]-Buchse angeschlossenen Ausgabegerät kein Ton ausgegeben wird,
überprüfen Sie, ob die Lautstärke auf der Ausgangsseite richtig eingestellt ist.
