3. How to use Electronic Torque Angle Adapter
Note
Do not press "MEM" and " " button together please.
The system will enter into Calibration Mode.
Turn off power please.
3-1 Battery Install and Replacement
1. AA x 2
2. Keep the end thread clean and dry for a good contact.
3. Open the battery cap.
4. Remove the old battery.
5. Install 2 AA batteries in the housing (with the "+" sign facing upwards).
6. Screw the battery cap.
Note
1. When batteries are low a " " icon will appear.
2. Remove the batteries if stored for a long period of time.
3. Battery life depends on battery quality and the amount of the lights and buzzer are used.
4. Typical life is up to 110 hours.
3-2 Power On
1. Press and release the " " button to turn the adapter on. The LCD panel shows " ".
2. After 2 seconds the LCD panel shows "0.0".
3. Swing the ratchet.
4. The LCD panel shows the torque value measured.
Note
If you do not use the wrench for 150 seconds
the electronic torque angle adapter will automatically
shut off.

3-3 How to use Angle functions
1. Place the adapter on a flat surface.
2. Press and release "ANG/TOQ" button.
3. The LCD panel will show "00000".
4. The LCD panel will show "0º".
5. Swing the wrench.
6. The LCD panel shows the angle value measured.
(CCW: -5º, -6º,.......-20º...) (CW: 5º,6º.......20º...)
7. Stop use electronic torque angle adapter when the desired degree has
been reached.
3-4 How to set Target Angle Value
1. Increase (+):
1-1: Press and hold the (+) button to increase the current target value.
1-2: The target value will appear for 10 seconds.
1-3: After 10 seconds the LCD panel shows "0º".
2. Lower (-):
2-1: Press and hold the (-) button to increase the current target value.
2-2: The target value will show for 10 seconds.
2-3: After 10 seconds the LCD panel shows "0º".
Note
1. Green light:
When you start to use the electronic torque angle adapter, the LED indicator will flash
green.
2. Yellow light:
When you are approaching 20% before the target, you will see a yellow flash and hear
an intermittent buzzer, warning you that the angle is getting close.
3. Red light:
When the target values is reached the LED will change to a red light and a buzzer will
sound.
3-5 How to select "Unit"
Press "MEM" and "P/T" button together and release to select
different torque units.
Note
1. When you change units the target setting will
also be changed to the new units value.
2. This electronic adapter contains 3 unit selections:
(kg-m, ft-lb, Nm).
3. 3 color LED light indicator.
3-6 How to select "Target Torque Value"
1. Increase (+): 1. Press and hold the (+) button to increase the
current target value.
2. The target is visible for 10 seconds.
3. After 10 seconds the LCD panel shows "0.0".
2. Lower (-): 1. Press and hold the (-) button to lower the current
target value.
2. The target is visible for 10 seconds.
3. After 10 seconds the LCD panel shows "0.0".

Note
1. Green light:

3-7 How to set "Peak" or "Trace"
Peak:
1. Press and release "P/T" button when the electronic adapter is on.
2. The LCD panel shows " ".
3. The LCD panel shows "0.0" after 2 seconds.
Trace:
1. Press and release "P/T" button when the electronic adapter is on.
2. The LCD panel shows " ".
3. The LCD panel shows "0.0" after 2 seconds.
3-8 Turn off
1. If you do not use the wrench for 150 seconds the electronic torque angle adapter will
automatically shut off.
2. To manually turn off the electronic adapter press " " button for 3 seconds then release.
3-9 Preset
1. Press "MEM" button as soon as the electronic adapter is on.
2. The LCD panel shows "P01"
3. Press "+" or "-" to set torque target value.
4. Press "MEM" to save the value as "P01" and the LCD panel shows the next memory
slot "P02".
5. You can preset 10 torque target value before use and switch them
quickly by pressing "MEM" button continuously.
Note
This electronic torque angle adapter stores the last 50 torque value readings.

4. Important Safeguards
Do not press "MEM" and " " button together please.
The system will enter into Calibration Mode.
Turn off power please.
• Store in a clean, dry place.
• Use a soft, dry, clean cloth clean the adapter and LCD panel.
• Basic safety precautions should be observed especially when using the adapter on or near children and disabled
person.
• Never submerge the adapter in water or any other liquid.
• Never clean the ratchet with organic solvents.
• Use the adaptor only for the intended use described in this manual.
• Do not exceed the permitted torque value for the adapter.
• Do not use the adapter if it is not working properly, or if it has suffered any damage.
• Do not disassemble the electronic adapter.
• Do not expose the adapter to extreme temperature, humidity direct sunlight or shock violently.
• Do not shake or shock.
• To ensure accurate measurement periodic recalibration is necessary.
Waste electrical products should not be disposed of together with household waste. Please recycle
where designated facilities exists. Check with your local authority or retailer for recycling advice.
- The battery must be removed from the appliance before it is scrapped.
- The appliance must be disconnected from the main power supply when removing the battery.
- The battery must be disposed of safely.
