ASSEMBLY & OPERATION
NOTE: Before using the tool, read the
instruction book carefully.
WARNING: This battery harness can only be
used with Kress cordless handheld tools.
BEFORE OPERATION
Note: Check the Kress batteries carefully to make
sure that no parts are damaged or missing. If any
damage occurred, please contact Service Agent.
OPERATION
Adjusting height of Frame(See Fig. A1,A2)

Note: It is possible to adjust frame height based on
user height &weight. The Kress harness features
three height(S/M/L) for your choice.
1. Depress the button and release the slider from
the frame;
2. Find the suitable height, match the "-"symbol
as shown, t the slide and lift up to nish the
assembly, and you should hear a "click".
Install/Remove the battery pack (See Fig.
B1, B2,B3)

1. Align the battery pack to the battery mounting
base, then slide it into the base to install the battery.
2. Press the battery pack release button, then lift the
battery pack along the mounting base to remove the
battery.
Fix the cable into harness positions.(See
Fig C)

It is suggested to x the cable into the cable clips
during operation so as to avoid obstrucions by
cluttered cables.The cable clips are designed along
the shoulder belt and waist belt, which provides you
with two different ways to organize the cables.

1. Snap the waist buckle(d). Adjust the length of
waist strap(e) in order to make sure it is securely
positioned in your hips.(See Fig E2)
2. Tighten the shoudler strap(a)and remember to
leave a small gap over the shoulder to distribute
weight of battery over shoulders to balance weight.
(See Fig E3)
3. Snap the chest buckle(b) and adjust chest strap(c)
before work .(See Fig E3)
WARNING: Do not wear other shoulder straps when
using this backpack harness.
Connect the harness with your
machine(See Fig F1, F2)

1. Insert the battery adaptor into the Kress cordless
handheld tool. Follow the instructions in the tool’s
manual to start the tool.Remove the adaptor from
the tool after use.

NOTE: For better weight distribution, a weight kit
is supplied with the backpack harness.
1. LIft the ring and rotate the screw in a
counterclockwise direction, then push the weight kit
along the battery adaptor.(See Fig F2)
2. Rotate the screw in a clockwise direction to nish
the assembly of weight kit and battery adaptor. Then
insert the battery adaptor into the Kress handheld
tools.(See Fig F3)
WARNING: Before connection, make sure your
machine is turned off. When operating, wear
protective gloves.
REMOVE AND FIT HARNESS
Disassembly and assembly of the waist belt.
(See Fig G1,G2)

1. Open the velcro and remove the belt from the frame
ap.(See Fig G1)
2. Insert the frame ap into the pocket on the belt.
Rotate the belt until the whole of the frame ap is in
the pocket. Secure with the velcro tab.(See Fig G2)

2.To remove the shoulder strap, push the strap
through the slot to release the toggle. Turn the toggle
triangle 90

and pass back through the slot to remove.

3. Match the "-" symbol between the frame and the
slider, then lift the slider up to assemble the harness.
(See Fig I1)
Note: The harness is designed with three height
(S/M/L) for you to choose the suitable height.

4.Turn the toggle so that it lies 90oalong the strap.
Pass the toggle and strap through the slot in the
frame. Release the toggle and pull back towards the
frame. Ensure that the shoulder strap is not twisted.
(See Fig I2)
MAINTENANCE AND
CLEANING
Use soft brush to clean the debris on the surface of
harness. Never use water or chemical cleaners to
clean your harness. Wipe off any moisture with a soft
dry cloth as moisture can cause a shock hazard.
WARNING:Remove the battery and adaptor from
the harness before carrying out any adjustment,
servicing or maintenance.
STORAGE
Always store your harness in an enclosed space that
is inaccessible to children. Keep all working controls
free of dust. Keep away from corrosive agents. Do
not place any objects on top of the harness and put
the harness on the at oor.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
The following table gives problems and actions that
you can perform if your machine does not operate
correctly.
WARNING: Switch the machine off
and remove the battery prior to any

Nota: Es posible ajustar la altura del marco en
función de la estatura y el peso del usuario. El
arnés Kress cuenta con tres alturas (S/M/L) para su
elección.
1. Apriete el botón y suelte el deslizador del marco.
2. Encuentre la altura adecuada, haga coincidir el
símbolo "-" como se muestra, coloque la corredera
y levántela para terminar el montaje, y debería oír
un "clic".
Instalar/retirar el paquete de baterías (vea
la Fig. B1, B2,B3)

1. Alinee el paquete de baterías con la base de
montaje de la batería, y luego deslícelo en la base
para instalar la batería.
2. Presione el botón de liberación del paquete de
baterías, luego levante el paquete de baterías a lo
largo de la base de montaje para retirar la batería.

Se sugiere jar el cable en los clips de cable durante
el funcionamiento, para evitar obstrucciones por
cables enredados. Los clips para cables están
diseñados a lo largo de la cinta del hombro y de la
cinta de la cintura, lo que le proporciona dos formas
diferentes de organizar los cables.

1. Abroche la hebilla de la cintura (d). Ajuste la
longitud de la correa de la cintura (e) para asegurarse
de que está bien colocada en sus caderas. (Ver Fig.
E2)
2. Apriete la correa del hombro (a) y recuerde dejar
un pequeño espacio sobre el hombro para distribuir
el peso de la batería sobre los hombros para
equilibrarlo. (Ver Fig. E3)
3. Abroche la hebilla del pecho (b) y ajuste la correa
del pecho (c) antes de trabajar. (Ver Fig. E3)
ADVERTENCIA: No use otras bandas para los
hombros cuando use este arnés mochila.
Conecte el arnés con su máquina(vea la Fig
F1, F2)

1. Inserte el adaptador de la batería en la
herramienta manual sin cable de Kress. Siga las
instrucciones en el manual de la herramienta para
arrancar la herramienta. Retire el adaptador de la
herramienta después de su uso.

NOTA: Para una mejor distribución del peso,
se suministra un kit de peso con el arnés de la
mochila.
1. Levante el anillo y gire el tornillo en sentido
contrario a las agujas del reloj, luego empuje el kit
de peso a lo largo del adaptador de la batería. (Ver
Fig. F2)
2. Gire el tornillo en el sentido de las agujas del reloj
para terminar de montar el kit de peso y el adaptador
de batería. A continuación, inserte el adaptador de
batería en las herramientas manuales Kress. (Ver
Fig. F3)
ADVERTENCIA: Antes de la conexión, asegúrese
de que su máquina esté apagada. Use guantes
protectores cuando utilice herramientas.

1. Abra el velcro y retire la cinta de la tapa del marco.
(Ver Fig. G1)
2. Introduzca la tapa del marco en el compartimiento
de la cinta. Gire la cinta hasta que toda la tapa del
marco esté en el compartimiento. Asegúrelo con la
pestaña de velcro. (Ver Fig. G2)

2.Para quitar la correa del hombro, empuje la correa
a través de la ranura a n de liberar el pasador. Gire el
triángulo del pasador 90 grados y páselo por la ranura
para retirarlo.(vea la Fig H2)

3. Haga coincidir el símbolo "-" entre el marco y la
corredera, luego levante la corredera para ensamblar
el arnés (Ver Fig. I1)
Nota: El arnés está diseñado con tres alturas (S/M/L)
para que pueda elegir la adecuada.

4. Gire el pasador para que quede a 90° a lo largo de
la correa. Pase el pasador y la correa por la ranura
del marco. Suelte el pasador y jale hacia el marco.
Asegúrese de que la correa del hombro no esté
torcida. (vea la Fig I2)
MANTENIMIENTO Y LIMPIEZA
Use un cepillo blando para limpiar los restos en la
supercie de la mochila. Nunca use limpiadores
químicos ni agua para limpiar su mochila. Seque
cualquier humedad con un paño seco y suave
puesto que la humedad puede provocar un riesgo
de choque eléctrico.
Retire la batería y el adaptador de la mochila
antes de realizar ajustes, tareas de servicio o
mantenimiento.
ALMACENAMIENTO
Guarde siempre el arnés en un espacio cerrado e
inaccesible para los niños. Mantenga sin polvo todos
los controles de funcionamiento. Manténgalo lejos
de agentes corrosivos. No coloque ningún objeto
encima del arnés y póngalo en un suelo plano.
SOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS
La siguiente tabla incluye comprobaciones y
acciones que puede realizar si la herramienta no
funciona de forma correcta.

y extraiga la batería antes de efectuar la
