SPEAKER PLACEMENT
We strongly suggest that you take the me to consider the best speaker placement for your specic
applicaon. once installed it is not easily moved or reposion. although each space has it’s own acousc
response there are some general guidelines you can safely follow.
Placing the speakers close to the walls will lead to some increase in bass frequencies. in some cases it
may result in a “boomy” or “muddy” sound.
place the speakers at least 60 cm (2 .) away from corners and other surfaces which may interfere or
reect sound.
For Crical Listening
Place the le and right speakers at an equal distance from your listening posion.
Place the speakers no more that 300 cm (10 .) apart from each other and no less than 150 cm (5 .)
For Entertainment listening or background music
in rectangular smaller rooms (below 30 square meters or 320 square .) in most cases 1 or 2 speakers
should suce and provide good coverage. if you use 2 units place them near opposite corners. If you
use one speaker it is advised to place it in the center.
in irregular or larger rooms use more than 2 speakers and place them evenly across the space for good
sound dispersion.
