Do not tangle the cord or pull it to discon-
nect the appliance. Also, keep the cord
away from warm surfaces.
Never use the appliance if it has a damaged
cable or socket.
Take it to the Technical Support Service for
replacement.
1.3. Humidity and Water
Do not use your appliance in humid places.
Do not allow the appliance to become wet
under any circumstances as this may be
dangerous. To avoid re hazard or electric
shock do not expose your appliance to humi-
dity or water. Furthermore, do not place your
appliance under water (e.g. for cleaning).
1.4. Cleaning
Before cleaning, be sure to switch off the ap-
pliance and remove the plug from the main
power supply. Always allow the unit to cool
down before cleaning.
To clean the exterior of the product use a
dry soft cloth only.

2. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
2.1. Product Description
2.2. Using the Product
Removing Transport Packaging
The equipment and interior ttings are secured for transport. Remove
the tape from the left and right sides of the door. Use alcohol to
remove any tape residue. Remove all tape and packing materials
from inside the appliance.
Positioning the Appliance
• Place the appliance away from heat sources such as ovens,
radiators, direct sunlight, etc.
• The appliance may not function properly if it is exposed to a
temperature above or below the indicated values for a long period
of time.
• This appliance should not be exposed to rain.
• There must be sufcient airow in the lower rear section of the
appliance, since poor air circulation can affect its performance.
• Built-in appliances should be placed away from heat sources, such
as heaters and direct sunlight.
Note: You must have good ventilation around the appliance to allow
effective heat dissipation, high efciency cooling and low power
consumption. To this end, there should be enough space around the
appliance. It is advisable for there to be 75 mm between the back of
the fridge and the wall, at least 100 mm of space on both sides, 100
mm above the top and a clear space in front to allow the doors to open.

Interior Fittings
Storage Shelves and Metal Shelves
Your device is supplied with plastic or glass storage shelves as well
as metal shelves - different models have different combinations.
Always place one of the glass storage shelves at the lowest possible
position above the fruit and vegetable crisper, and keep it in this
position.
The height of the storage shelves can be adjusted. To do this, pull
the shelf forward until it can be lifted and removed. Do the opposite
to insert a shelf at a different height.
In order to make the most of the storage space in the fresh food
compartment and the frozen food compartment, you can remove one
or more shelves and/or drawers from the appliance, tailoring it to
your daily use.
Door Reversing
The side on which the door opens can be
changed from the right side to the left side, if
the installation site requires.
Before you start, lay the refrigerator on its back
in order to gain access to the base, you should
rest it on soft foam packaging or similar material
to avoid damaging the cooling pipes at the rear
of the refrigerator.
Before reversing the door’s position, perform
these steps:
• Move the accessory (1) from the upper cover
of the upper door, and then transfer it to the
other side of the upper cover.
• Loosen and remove the screws (3) and the
stops (2 and 4) of the upper and lower doors
and insert them into their respective holes
on the opposite side of the door. Tighten the
screws.

1. With the refrigerator on its back, use a
screwdriver to remove the four screws from
the cover on the top of the refrigerator.
2. Unscrew and lift the cover from the top and
remove it. Then, lift the top door and place it
on a padded surface to avoid scratching.
3. Remove the center of the upper hinge, move
it to the left side and press rmly.
4. Remove the double beaded screw and then
the middle hinge that fastens the lower door.
Lift the lower door and place it on a padded
surface to avoid scratching.

9. Reinstall the top cover by inserting the upper
hinge pin into the hole of the upper door, and
secure it with the four screws. Reinstall the
screw covers.
5. Remove the covers from
the hinge holes on the
right sides, as shown, and
transfer them to the holes
found on the left.
6. Loosen the screws and remove the two
adjustable feet and also the lower hinge
support.
7. Unscrew and remove the
lower hinge pin, turn the
support and ret the pin.
Reinstall the support tting
into the bottom hinge pin.
Starting Up and Temperature Regulation
Insert the power plug into a grounded power outlet. When the
refrigerator compartment door is opened, the internal lighting is
switched on.
The temperature control knob is located on the right side of the
refrigerator compartment.
Position 0: off. Turn in a clockwise direction
and the refrigeration unit will turn on and will
run automatically afterwards.
Position 1: highest temperature, warmest setting.
Position 7 (last): lowest temperature, coldest setting.
Notes:
• The 2, 3 or 4 settings are suggested if a lower or higher temperature
is required. Adjust according to your preference. Place the regulator
in the lower position, it will increase energy efciency. Other
positions require higher energy consumption.
• High ambient temperatures (e.g. on hot summer days) and a
cold setting (position 6 to 7) may cause the compressor to run
for long periods of time or even non-stop. This is because when
the temperature is high, the compressor must run continuously to
maintain a low temperature within the appliance.
• The temperatures of the refrigerator and freezer compartments
cannot be regulated independently.
• If the ambient temperature is low, about 16°C, you must select
position “3” or “4”. With ambient temperatures of about 25°C, you
should select the “2” position.
• If a lower temperature is required, select positions “3” or “4”. With
these settings, it is guaranteed that fresh food is safely frozen and
that the freezer compartment is always at a temperature of -12°C.
• If fresh food needs to be frozen quickly, select position “7”, but make
sure that the temperature of the refrigerator compartment does not
drop below 0°C. You should also place the temperature regulator
back to “3” or “4” as soon as possible.
8. Rotate the hinge a half turn and then transfer
it to the appropriate position on the left. Insert
the middle hinge pin into the upper hole of the
lower door, and then tighten the bolts. Transfer
the upper door to the proper position. Secure
the door’s level; insert the middle hinge pin
into the lower hole of the upper door.
Reinstall the two adjustable feet. Transfer the lower door to the
proper position. Secure the door’s level, insert the bottom hinge
pin into the lower hole of the door, and then tighten the bolts.

Correct Storage
1. Meat, ice cream and other foods that require freezing

• Do not select a temperature colder than necessary.
• It is essential for a direct cooling refrigerator (with a freezer) to be
defrosted when necessary. This improves the transfer of cold and
reduces energy consumption.
• The image displayed on the “Storage shelves and Metal Shelves”
shows the combination of drawers, drawer covers and shelves that
provides the most energy efcient conguration. If you change the
conguration, you may increase energy consumption.
• Store food logically.
• Do not exceed the specied storage period.
Noises During Operation
The following noises are characteristic of refrigeration appliances:
• Clicks: Whenever the compressor switches on or off, you may hear
a click.
• Whispers: When the compressor starts, you may hear it “whisper”.
• Bubbling: when the refrigerant enters the narrow tubes, you may
hear bubbling or splashing.
Defrosting
Water contained in food, or air getting inside the appliance when
opening doors, may form a layer of frost inside. When this layer
becomes thicker, cooling becomes less efcient. When the layer is
more than 10 mm thick, you must defrost the appliance.
Defrosting the Fresh Food Compartment
It is automatically controlled when turning the temperature control
off or on, so there is no need to defrost. Water from defrosting will
drain automatically into a drip tray through a drainpipe at the back of
the fridge.
Defrosting in the Frozen-food Storage Compartment
The freezer compartment must be defrosted manually.
• Before defrosting, take the food out.
• Take the ice tray and the shelves out, or put them into the fresh food
compartment, temporarily.
• Turn the temperature regulator knob to position “0” (which will turn
off the compressor).
• Leave the door of the refrigerator open until the ice and frost have
completely melted and accumulated at the bottom of the freezer
compartment.
• Mop up the water using a soft cloth.
• To speed up the defrosting process, put a bowl of warm water (at
about 50°C) into the freezer compartment, and scrape away the ice
and frost with a defrosting spatula.
• Once nished, make sure to return the temperature regulator knob
to its original position.

Suggestions:
The food stored in a refrigerator should always be covered or
packaged to prevent dehydration or the contamination of other food.
The following containers are suitable for packaging: lm and sealed
polyethylene bags, plastic containers with lids, suitable plastic bags
with elastics, and aluminum foil.
Energy Saving Tips
• Do not put hot food in the appliance; let it cool rst.
• Do not install the appliance near cookers, radiators or other sources
of heat. A high temperature may cause the compressor to run longer
and more frequently.
• In order to increase the efciency of the cooling system, make
sure that the sides and rear of the unit are at some distance from
the wall, according to the values indicated in the “Positioning the
Appliance” section.
• When the appliance is running, do not open the door frequently or
leave it open longer than absolutely necessary.

Notes:
• It is not advisable to heat the freezer compartment directly with hot
water or a hairdryer while defrosting, to avoid the interior warping.
• It is not advisable to scrape ice or extract food from the containers
in which they were frozen with sharp objects or wood utensils, to
avoid damaging the interior of the compartment or the surface of
the containers.
• To switch off the appliance, set the thermostat to position “0”.
• The refrigerator should be defrosted at least once a month. If the
door is opened frequently or if the refrigerator is used in extremely
humid environments, it is advisable to defrost it every two weeks.
2.3. Maintenance
For safety reasons, the inside of the appliance, including accessories,
should be cleaned regularly.
• Essential oils and organic solvents, e.g. lemon juice, juice from
orange peel, or cleansers that contain acetic acid can damage
plastic parts. Do not allow such substances to come into contact
with the appliance parts.
• Do not use any abrasive cleaners.
• Remove the food from the refrigerator, cover it well and place it in
a cool place.
• Switch the appliance off and unplug it from the outlet, or switch off
the circuit breaker, or remove the fuse.
• Clean the appliance and the interior accessories with a cloth and
lukewarm water. You can also use common washing-up detergents.
After cleaning, rinse with clean water and dry.
• Dust accumulation in the condenser increases energy consumption.
Therefore, carefully clean the condenser at the back of the appliance
once a year using a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner.
• Check the water drain hole on the back wall of the refrigerator
compartment.
• If the drain hole is clogged, clear it using a thin round object, taking
care not to damage the structure with sharp objects.
• After cleaning the compartment thoroughly, place the appliance
back into operation.
Notes:
• The appliance must not be plugged in during cleaning as there is a
risk of electric shock. Before cleaning, switch the appliance off and
unplug it from the outlet, or switch off the circuit breaker, or remove
the fuse.
• Never clean the unit with a steam cleaner. Moisture could
accumulate in electric components, which can cause electric shock.
Hot vapors can lead to the damage of plastic parts.
• The appliance must be completely dry before it is put back into
service.

Bulb Replacement
• Before changing the light bulb, switch off the appliance by placing
the temperature control knob to “0”, unplug it, or switch off the
circuit breaker, or remove the fuse.
• Loosen the screw.
• Press the light bulb cover and slide it backwards. Replace the lamp.
• Reinstall the lamp cover and screw.
• Restart the appliance.
Spare Parts
You can order the following spare parts from your supplier; they can
be replaced without any technical assistance:
• cheese/butter compartment;
• egg tray;
• door shelves;
• fruit and vegetable crispers;
• storage shelves.

1.1. Alimentación
Compruebe que la tensión de la red eléctri-
ca es compatible con la indicada en el apa-
rato. En caso de que no sea compatible,
consulte al Servicio de Atención al Cliente.
1.2. Cable de alimentación y otros
cables
No enrolle el cable de alimentación ni tire
de él para desenchufar el aparato. Asimis-
mo, manténgalo alejado de supercies ca-
lientes.
Nunca utilice este aparato si el cable o el
enchufe están dañados.
En su lugar, llévelo a un servicio técnico au-
torizado para que proceda a su sustitución.
1.3. Humedad y agua
No utilice el aparato en lugares húmedos.
No deje que el aparato se moje en ningu-
na circunstancia, pues puede ser peligroso.
Para evitar el peligro de incendio o descarga
eléctrica, no exponga el aparato al agua o la
humedad. Asimismo, no sumerja el aparato
(por ejemplo, para limpiarlo).
1.4. Limpieza

2.1. Descripción del producto

Accesorios interiores
Bandejas para almacenamiento y bandejas metálicas
El aparato se suministra con bandejas para almacenamiento de
plástico o cristal o bandejas metálicas, según los modelos.
Deberá colocar siempre una de las bandejas de cristal en la posición
más baja posible, por encima de los cajones de frutas y verduras, y
manténgala en esta posición.
La altura de las bandejas puede ajustarse. Para ello, debe empujar
de la bandeja hacia delante hasta que pueda ser levantada y
retirada. Efectúe el mismo paso en orden inverso para introducir una
bandeja en una altura diferente.

Para sacar el máximo partido del volumen del compartimento de
refrigeración y del compartimento del congelador, podrá retirar
del aparato una o más bandejas o cajones, de acuerdo con las
necesidades de su uso diario.
2.2. Utilización del producto
Retirada del embalaje de transporte
El aparato y los accesorios interiores están protegidos para su
transporte. Retire la cinta adhesiva del lado izquierdo y derecho de
la puerta. Podrá retirar cualquier resto de cinta adhesiva utilizando
alcohol. Retire toda la cinta adhesiva y las partes del embalaje del
interior del aparato.
Posicionamiento del aparato
• Coloque el aparato lejos de fuentes de calor, tales como hornos,
radiadores, luz solar directa, etc.
• Es posible que el aparato no funcione correctamente si lo deja
durante un largo período de tiempo a una temperatura por encima
o por debajo de los valores indicados.
• No exponga este aparato a la lluvia.
• Se debe permitir una circulación suciente de aire en la parte trasera
inferior del aparato, ya que una circulación de aire deciente puede
afectar a su rendimiento.
• Los aparatos empotrados deben instalarse lejos de fuentes de
calor, tales como radiadores o luz solar directa.
Nota: es necesaria una buena ventilación alrededor del frigoríco
para permitir una fácil disipación del calor, una elevada ecacia de
refrigeración y un bajo consumo de energía. Para ello, debe dejar
alrededor del frigoríco suciente espacio abierto. Se recomienda
mantener 75 mm entre la parte trasera del frigoríco y la pared,
como mínimo 100 mm de espacio entre los laterales y el obstáculo
o pared, 100 mm por encima de la parte superior del aparato y
un espacio libre en la parte frontal para permitir la abertura de las
puertas.
Inversión de la posición de la puerta

Puede modicar la dirección de la abertura de
la puerta, de izquierda a derecha, en caso de
que el lugar de instalación lo exija.
Antes de acostar el frigoríco para tener acceso
a la base, debe apoyarlo sobre una espuma
suave o material similar para evitar dañar los
tubos de refrigeración situados en la parte
trasera de este.
Antes de invertir la posición de la puerta, lleve a
cabo en primer lugar estos pasos:
• Retire el accesorio (1) de la cubierta superior
de la puerta superior e introdúzcalo en el otro
lado de la misma cobertura.
• Aoja y retire los tornillos (3) y los topes (2 e 4)
de las puertas superior e inferior, e introduzca
ambos en el oricio del otro lado de la puerta.
Apriete los tornillos.
1. Con el frigoríco acostado, utilice un des-
tornillador para retirar las cuatro cubiertas
de tornillos situadas en los extremos de la
cubierta inferior del frigoríco.
2. Desatornille y levante la cubierta inferior y
retírela. A continuación, levante la puerta
superior y colóquela sobre una supercie
acolchada para evitar que se raye.
3. Retire el centro de la bisagra superior, pásela
para el lado izquierdo y apriete al máximo.
4. Retire el tornillo de reborde doble y retire
a continuación la bisagra del medio que
mantiene sujeta en su sitio la puerta inferior.
Saque la puerta inferior y colóquela sobre
una supercie acolchada para evitar que se
raye.
5. Retire la cubierta de la
bisagra de los oricios
del lado derecho como se
muestra a continuación y
colóquela en los oricios
descubiertos en el lado
izquierdo.
6. Retire las dos patas ajustables así como el
soporte de la bisagra inferior al aojar los
tornillos.

Arranque y regulación de temperatura
Conecte el enchufe en la toma de corriente con conexión a tierra.
Cuando la puerta del compartimento del frigoríco sea abierta, la luz
interna se encenderá.
El regulador de temperatura está situado en el lado derecho del
compartimento del frigoríco.
Posición 0: desconectado. Gire en el sen-
tido de las agujas del reloj y la unidad de
refrigeración se encenderá, y pasará a
funcionar después automáticamente.
Posición 1: temperatura más elevada, conguración más caliente.
Posición 7 (nal): temperatura más baja, conguración más fría.
Notas:
• Se recomienda que seleccione la posición 2, 3 o 4, en caso de
que desea que la temperatura sea inferior o superior, ajústelo de
acuerdo con su preferencia. Cuando coloque el regulador en la
posición más baja, resultará en una mayor eciencia energética.
En caso contrario, aumentará el consumo de energía.
• Una temperatura ambiente elevada (por ejemplo, en días muy
calurosos) y una conguración fría en el regulador de temperatura
(posición 6 o 7) pueden hacer que el compresor esté en funcio-

8. Gire la bisagra del medio en un ángulo de
180° en la dirección contraria y pásela a

del medio en el oricio superior de la puerta
inferior y apriete a continuación los tornillos.

9. Sustituya la cubierta encajando el centro de
la bisagra superior en el oricio de la puerta
superior y fíjela con cuatro tornillos. Sustituya
las cubiertas de los tornillos.
Coloque la puerta inferior en la posición adecuada. Mantenga
la puerta nivelada, introduzca el taco de la bisagra inferior en el
oricio inferior de la puerta y apriete a continuación los tornillos.

posiciones «3» o «4». En estas conguraciones, podrá garantizar
que los alimentos frescos serán congelados con seguridad y que
se mantendrá una temperatura de almacenamiento de -12°C en el
compartimento del congelador.
• En caso de que desee congelar alimentos frescos rápidamente,
seleccione la posición «7», asegurándose de que la temperatura
en el compartimento del frigoríco no baja de los 0°C. Asimismo,
deberá volver a congurar inmediatamente el regulador de
temperatura para las posiciones «3» o «4».

Consejo:
Los alimentos en el frigoríco deben estar siempre tapados o
embalados, para evitar que se sequen o que contaminen otros
alimentos. Los siguientes recipientes serán adecuados para su
embalaje: envoltorios y bolsas herméticas de polietileno, recipientes
de plástico con tapa, tapas de plástico adecuadas con elástico y
papel de aluminio
Consejos de ahorro de energía
• No coloque alimentos calientes en el interior del aparato y deje
siempre que se enfríen primero.
• No instale el aparato cerca de fuegos, radiadores u otras fuentes
de calor. Una temperatura ambiente elevada puede causar un
funcionamiento del compresor más prolongado y frecuente.
• A n de que el sistema de refrigeración sea más eciente,
asegúrese de que las partes laterales y trasera del aparato están a
cierta distancia con respecto a la pared, de acuerdo con los valores
indicados en el apartado sobre el posicionamiento del aparato.
• Cuando el aparato esté en funcionamiento, evite abrir la puerta
demasiadas veces o dejar la puerta abierta durante más tiempo
del necesario.
• No lo congure a una temperatura más fría de la necesaria.
• Es fundamental que el frigoríco de refrigeración directo (con
congelador) sea descongelado cuando sea necesario. Esto
mejorará la transferencia de frío y reducirá el consumo de energía.
• La imagen presentada en el apartado sobre las bandejas para
almacenamiento y bandejas metálicas muestra la combinación
correcta de cajones, cubiertas de cajones y bandejas, con la cual
se consigue una mayor eciencia energética. En caso de que ajuste
la combinación, podría resultar en un mayor consumo de energía.
• Almacene los alimentos de forma lógica.
• No supere el período de almacenamiento especicado.
Ruidos durante el funcionamiento
Los siguientes ruidos son propios de los aparatos de refrigeración:
• Clics: siempre que el compresor se enciende o apaga, podrá
escucharse un clic.
• Susurros: una vez que el compresor entra en funcionamiento,
podrá oírlo «susurrar».
•Gorgoteos: cuando el refrigerante uye por los tubos estrechos,
podrá escucharse gorgotear o salpicar.
Descongelación
El agua almacenada en la comida o el aire que entra en el frigoríco al
abrir la puerta puede formar una capa de hielo en su interior. Cuando
la capa de hielo sea gruesa, reducirá el nivel de refrigeración. En
concreto, cuando esta capa tenga más de 10 mm de espesor,
deberá proceder a la descongelación.

Descongelación del compartimento del frigorífico
Está controlada automáticamente al apagar o encender el regulador
de temperatura, por lo que no es necesario llevar a cabo una
operación de descongelación. El agua de la descongelación será
automáticamente evacuada a un desagüe a través de un tubo de
desagüe, situado en la parte trasera del frigoríco.
Descongelación del compartimento del congelador
La descongelación de la cámara del congelador se debe efectuar
manualmente.
• Antes de proceder a la descongelación, retire los alimentos.
• Extraiga la cubitera de hielo y los cajones o colóquelos
provisionalmente en el compartimento del frigoríco.
• Coloque el regulador de temperatura en la posición «0» (el
compresor dejará de funcionar).
• Mantenga la puerta del frigoríco abierta hasta que el hielo se
disuelva completamente y se acumule en el fondo de la cámara
del congelador.
• Limpie el agua con un paño suave.
• En caso de que desee acelerar el proceso de descongelación,
podrá colocar una taza con agua caliente (cerca de 50°C) en la
cámara del congelador, y raspar el hielo con una espátula o un
raspador adecuado.
• Una vez terminado el proceso, asegúrese de colocar el regulador
de temperatura en la posición original.
Notas:
• No se recomienda calentar la cámara del congelador directamente
con agua caliente o con un secador mientras descongela para
evitar deformaciones en su interior.
• No se recomienda raspar el hielo o alimentos separados de los
recipientes que fueron congelados directamente con los alimentos
utilizando objetos alados o barras de madera, para no dañar el
interior de la cámara o la supercie del vaporizador.
• Para apagar el aparato, coloque el regulador de temperatura en la
posición «0».
• El frigoríco debe descongelarse al menos una vez al mes. Durante
el proceso de utilización, si abrió la puerta con frecuencia o si se
utilizó en ambientes de extrema humedad, se recomienda que
efectúe la descongelación cada dos semanas.
2.3. Mantenimiento
Por razones de higiene, el interior del aparato y sus accesorios
interiores deben limpiarse con regularidad.
• Los aceites etéreos y los disolventes orgánicos pueden atacar los
componentes plásticos, como por ejemplo zumo de limón, zumo

de naranja y productos de limpieza que contengan ácido acético.
No permita que dichas substancias entren en contacto con los
componentes del aparato.
• No utilice productos de limpieza abrasivos.
• Retire los alimentos del frigoríco y colóquelos bien tapados en un
lugar fresco.
• Desconecte el aparato y desconecte el enchufe de la toma de
corriente o desconecte el circuito o el fusible.
• Limpie el aparato y los accesorios interiores con un paño y agua
tibia. Podrá también utilizar detergentes lavavajillas disponibles en
el mercado. Tras limpiar, aclare con agua limpia y pase un paño
para secar.
• La acumulación de polvo en el condensador aumenta el consumo
de energía. Por esta razón, limpie cuidadosamente el condensador
situado en la parte trasera del aparato una vez al año utilizando un
cepillo suave o un aspirador.
• Verique el oricio de evacuación de agua situado en la parte
trasera del compartimento del frigoríco.
• Limpie el oricio de evacuación si está obstruido utilizando, por
ejemplo, un palillo blando, teniendo cuidado para que no dañar la
pared del interior con objetos alados.
• Una vez que todo esté seco, ponga el aparato nuevamente en
funcionamiento.
Notas:
• El aparato no puede estar conectado a la red eléctrica durante
la limpieza, ya que existe riesgo de descarga eléctrica. Por tanto,
antes de limpiar el aparato, apáguelo y desenchúfelo de la toma de
corriente, o desconecte el circuito o el fusible.
• Nunca limpie la unidad con un aparato de limpieza a vapor. La
humedad puede acumularse en los componentes eléctricos, lo
que puede provocar un riesgo de descarga eléctrica. Además, los
vapores calientes pueden dañar los componentes de plástico.
• El aparato debe secarse por completo antes de volver a ponerse
en funcionamiento.
Substitución de la bombilla
• Antes de substituir la bombilla, apague el aparato colocando el
regulador de temperatura en la posición «0» y desenchúfelo de la
red eléctrica, saque el fusible o corte el circuito.
• Aoje el tornillo.
• Pulse la cubierta de la bombilla y deslícela hacia atrás.
• Substituya la bombilla vieja por una nueva.
• Coloque nuevamente la cubierta de la bombilla en la posición
correcta y atornille.
• Vuelva a poner el aparato en funcionamiento.
