Note: Please make sure that all of the mounting hardware
is accounted for.
Note: Inspect all parts for defects prior to assembly.
Note: Ruler included in package may not fit on all
bandsaws. Some modification may be necessary.

Installation
**There are three techniques for mounting the fence. Please review all three prior
to mounting and choose the best method for your saw**
Installing the brackets to the table (Technique 1)

1. Using hardware (B), (C) and (E) mount the main brackets (A) to
the bandsaw table. See figure 1.1 & 1.2

Note: You may need to enlarge the current holes in your
table. They should be ½” to accept the bolt provided.

2. Mount fence bolt (D) using hardware (E) and (F). Do not fully
tighten nut (F) yet. See figure 2.1 & 2.2

Note: Prior to mounting the fence rail choose the stud holes
in the rail that are best suited for your bandsaw. You should
have four sets of holes to choose from.
Note: To utilize the full throat of the saw use the rail holes
that will allow the crank handle to be as far left of the saw
frame as possible. This will also allow the bottom door
enough clearance to open.
3. Mount fence using a 19mm socket wrench to tighten bolt (D).
The bolt should be fully engaged into the fence rail to ensure
proper seating.

Note: Adjust height of drift master on brackets so the fence
rides on the bandsaw table surface.
4. Adjust bolts (D) in bracket slots until drift master fence rides on
bandsaw table. Tighten nuts (F) once this is done.
5. Tighten all hardware.

Installing entire fence with brackets already attached
(Technique 2)
1. Attach brackets using supplied hardware.
Note: Do not tighten nut (F)
2. Fully seat bolt (D) into rail. This will enable you to tighten nut (F)
without the use of a wrench on bolt (D) once fence is mounted
to saw.
3. Attach entire unit to saw.
4. Adjust fence and tighten hardware.

Installing without the use of brackets (Technique 3)
1. Remove the original fence system, figure 1.1

2. Drill and tap holes for the ruler indicated in figure 1.2. Note:
hole placement will vary from one machine to another. Drill ½”
holes in bandsaw table for fence studs. Hole location may vary
depending on size of table.

Adjustments
To adjust the drift on the drift master loosen the top handles, figure
2.1

Turn bottom knob till desire adjustment is achieved then tighten handles. 2.2
Move the quick release to lock and unlock the screw mechanism. This will allow
free movement of the fence for large adjustments in unlocked position.
