The Cordless Warming Tray is perfect for when you’ve cooked a big Sunday roast, pot of
chilli or simply ordered your favourite takeaway. Warm up your plates as it heats up then
un-plug the cord and take to the table where it will continue to keep your food warm
while your dining.

SAFETY CAUTIONS
Carefully read all the instructions before using the appliance and keep in a safe place
for future reference. Always follow these safety cautions when using the appliance to
avoid personal injury or damage to the appliance. This appliance should be used only as
described in this instruction book.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be done by children unless they are older
than 8 and supervised.
• Make sure your electricity supply matches the voltage shown on the appliance.
• Ensure all packaging materials and any promotional labels or stickers are removed from
the appliance before the first use.
• Always inspect the appliance before use for noticeable signs of damage. Do not use
if damaged or has been dropped. In the event of damage, or if the appliance develops
a fault contact the Lakeland customer care team on 015394 88100.
• Do not use this appliance if the lead is damaged. If the lead is damaged it must
be replaced with a special lead. Contact the Lakeland customer care team on
015394 88100.
• Always use the appliance on a dry, level, heat resistant surface.
• Unplug from the mains when not in use and before cleaning. To disconnect, turn the
socket to “off “ and remove the plug from the mains socket.
• Do not use any accessories or attachments with this appliance other than those
recommended by Lakeland.
• To protect against fire, electric shock or personal injury, do not immerse cord, plug or
lid in water or other liquids.
• Do not leave the lead hanging over the edge of a kitchen table or worktop. Avoid
contact between the lead and hot surfaces.
• For indoor use only.
• For domestic use only. It is not suitable for commercial use, or for use outdoors
• Always ensure that your hands are dry before removing the plug from the mains socket.
Never pull the plug out of the mains socket by its lead.
• Do not connect this appliance to an external timer or remote control system.

• An extension cable may be used with care. The electrical rating of the cable should be
at least as great as the appliance. Do not allow the cable to hang over the edge of the
worktop or touch any hot surfaces.
• This appliance complies with the basic requirements of Directives 2014/30/EU
(Electromagnetic Compatibility) and 2014/35/EU (Low Voltage Directive).
• WARNING: A cut off plug inserted into a 13amp socket is a serious safety (shock)
hazard. Ensure the cut off plug is disposed of safely.
• CAUTION: The plastic bags used to wrap this appliance or the packaging may be
dangerous. To avoid risk of suffocation, keep these bags out of reach of babies
and children. These bags are not toys.
• The Cordless Warming Tray is purely for the purpose of keeping cooked food warm. It is
not intended for any other use, such as defrosting, reheating leftovers, or cooking food
from scratch.
• Ensure the Cordless Warming Tray is switched off before plugging it into the
mains socket.
• The Cordless Warming Tray should not be plugged into a mains socket and turned on
for a period longer than 2 hours during any 6 hour period.
• The Cordless Warming Tray will get very hot during use and should not be placed
directly onto a very delicate surface that may be damaged by heat.
• Never attempt to carry the Cordless Warming Tray with dishes balancing on top.
• Do not leave Cordless Warming Tray unattended during use.
• Switch off and unplug the Cordless Warming Tray and let it cool completely before
cleaning or storing.
WARNING – HOT SURFACES
The surface marked with this symbol will get very hot during use and will stay hot
after use.
To prevent injury, DO NOT TOUCH.
Take care not to touch the hot surface or sides of the tray. For your safety, please wear
oven gloves when carrying the hot Cordless Warming Tray.

USING YOUR CORDLESS WARMING TRAY
FOR THE FIRST TIME
Unpack the Cordless Warming Tray and remove all the packaging materials.
Before first use, wipe the heating plate with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
The Cordless Warming Tray is now ready to use.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
The Cordless Warming Tray takes just 12 minutes to heat up to 120°C and stays warm for
1 hour after being unplugged. The power cord can be easily detached so that they tray
can we conveniently placed on your table.
• Place the Cordless Warming Tray on a level, sturdy and dry surface.
• Ensure the Cordless Warming Tray is switched OFF at the power switch before
connecting the power cord. Then plug into the mains socket and turn on.
• Switch the power switch to ON and the red indicator light will illuminate.
• After 12 minutes the red indicator light will go off and the green indicator light will
illuminate to indicate the temperature has been reached.
• When you switch on the Cordless Warming Tray for the first time there may be a slight
burning smell. This is normal for a new product and will disappear after a few uses.
• If you are not ready to use the Cordless Warming Tray you can leave it plugged in for up
to 2 hours and the thermostat will maintain the temperature.
• When you are ready to use the Cordless Warming Tray, switch off at the power switch
and also the mains socket and unplug. Detach the power cord and if necessary, move
to your table using the cool-touch handles on either end, wearing oven gloves.
WARNING: Do not touch any part of the metal Cordless Warming Tray; always use the
cool-touch handles and wear oven gloves for protection.
• After unplugging the Cordless Warming Tray it will release heat for a full hour, gradually
cooling down.
• If you would prefer to keep the Cordless Warming Tray plugged in during use, DO NOT
exceed 2 hours during any 6 hour period. The Cordless Warming Tray has a thermostat
to maintain the temperature at 120°C and prevent overheating. When the temperature
has dropped the red indicator light will illuminate for a short period till reaches 120°C
then the green indicator light will illuminate again.
• Place the appliance away from the edge of your worktop or table and ensure the power
cord cannot be tripped over.
• Place your food on the hearing plate in suitable heatproof dishes. Take care not to
scrape dishes across the surface of the heating plate as they may scratch the brushed
stainless steel top. Take extra care with porcelain and china.
• After use, allow the appliance to cool down completely before carrying, cleaning or
storing away.

HINTS AND TIPS
• For best results, use piping-hot food and pre-warmed dishes.
• Choose dishes that are HEATPROOF, with flat bases to ensure maximum contact with
the heating plate.
• High-sided dishes are best avoided as they may encourage loss of heat.
• Covering the dishes will help to keep food warmer for longer.
• If in any doubt about the temperature of your food, please check with a kitchen
thermometer.
• Once dishes are empty, remove them from the heating plate.
• For your safety, the Warming Tray has been designed to protect against overheating
with its automatic shut off after 3.5 hours.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Question: Why does the Cordless Warming Tray not light up when switched on?
Answer: The appliance may not be plugged in or switched on at the socket.
CARE AND CLEANING
• Before cleaning the Cordless Warming Tray, ensure it is switched off and the power
cord is unplugged from the mains socket. Always allow the Cordless Warming Tray to
cool completely before cleaning or storing away.
• Clean thoroughly before using for the first time and after every use.
• Check the parts for wear or damage after every few uses.
• Wipe the surface with a clean, damp cloth and dry thoroughly before storing.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool or scourers as they will damage the surface.
• Never immerse the Cordless Warming Tray, power cord or plug in water or
any other liquid.
• Store the Cordless Warming Tray with the power cord loosely coiled.
Never wrap it tightly around the Cordless Warming Tray.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED
This appliance is fitted with a fused three-pin plug to BS1363 which is suitable for use
in all homes fitted with sockets to current specifications. If the fitted plug is not suitable
for your socket outlets, it should be cut off and carefully disposed of. To avoid an electric
shock, do not insert the discarded plug into a socket.
FITTING A NEW PLUG
If for any reason you need to fit a new plug, the flexible mains lead must be connected
as shown here. The wires in the mains lead fitted to this appliance are coloured in
accordance with the following code:
Connect BLUE to Neutral (N)
Connect GREEN/YELLOW to Earth (E)
Connect BROWN to Live (L)
13 amp fuse to be used
If the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this appliance do not correspond with the
coloured markings identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows. The wire
which is coloured green and yellow MUST be connected to the terminal which is marked
with the letter E (Earth). The wire which is coloured blue MUST be connected to the
terminal which is marked with the letter N (Neutral). The wire which is coloured brown
MUST be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter L (Live).
Before refitting the plug cover, check that there are no cut or stray strands of wire inside
the plug. Use a 13 amp BS1362 fuse. Only BSI or ASTA approved fuses should be used. If
you are at all unsure which plug or fuse to use, always refer to a qualified electrician.
Note: After replacing or changing a fuse on a moulded plug which has a fuse cover, the
cover must be refitted to the plug; the appliance must not be used without a fuse cover.
If lost, replacement fuse covers can be obtained from an electrical shop. This appliance
complies with the following EU Directives: 2006/95/EC (Low Voltage Directive) and
2004/108/EC (EMC Directive).

Lesen Sie sich diese Bedienungsanleitung vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme Ihres Geräts

Sie beim Gebrauch des Produkts stets diese Sicherheitshinweise, um Körperverletzungen
oder Schäden am Gerät zu vermeiden. Dieses Produkt ist nur für den vorgesehenen Zweck
gemäß der Beschreibung in dieser Gebrauchsanweisung bestimmt.
• Dieses Gerät darf von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und Personen mit
verminderter körperlicher, sensorischer oder geistiger Fähigkeit
oder mit fehlenden Erfahrungen und Kenntnissen nur dann
verwendet werden, wenn sie von einer Person, die für ihre

• Verwenden Sie das Produkt nicht, falls das Netzkabel beschädigt ist. Falls das Netzkabel
beschädigt ist, muss es durch ein Spezialkabel ersetzt werden. Kontaktieren Sie den
Kundenservice von Lakeland unter der Rufnummer 0800 444 1500.
• Stellen Sie das Gerät zum Gebrauch stets auf eine trockene, ebene und hitzebeständige
Fläche.
• Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker bei Nichtgebrauch und vor der Reinigung des Geräts aus der
Steckdose. Zum Abschalten ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose.
• Verwenden Sie nur die von Lakeland empfohlenen Zubehörteile oder Einsätze.
• Tauchen Sie Netzkabel, Netzstecker, Deckel oder Gerät nicht in Wasser oder andere
Flüssigkeiten ein. Es besteht Brand-, Stromschlag- und Verletzungsgefahr!
• Lassen Sie das Netzkabel nicht vom Küchentisch oder von der Arbeitsplatte
herunterhängen. Achten Sie darauf, dass das Netzkabel nicht mit heißen Oberflächen
in Berührung kommt.
• Nur für den Gebrauch in Innenräumen.
• Nur für den privaten Gebrauch. Es ist weder zur kommerziellen Verwendung noch für
den Einsatz im Freien geeignet.
• Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker ausschließlich mit trockenen Händen aus der Netzsteckdose.
Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker nie am Netzkabel aus der Netzsteckdose heraus.

• Schließen Sie das Gerät nicht an eine externe Zeitschaltuhr oder an ein System mit
Fernbedienung an.
• Lassen Sie bei der Verwendung von Verlängerungskabeln Vorsicht walten. Die
elektrischen Nennwerte des Kabels müssen mindestens so hoch wie die des Geräts sein.
Achten Sie darauf, dass das Kabel nicht von der Arbeitsplatte herunterhängt und nicht
mit heißen Flächen in Berührung kommt.
• Dieses Gerät erfüllt die Grundanforderungen der Richtlinien 2014/30/EU
(Elektromagnetische Verträglichkeit) und 2014/35/EU (Niederspannungsrichtlinie).
• WARNUNG: Bei einem abgeschnittenen Stecker in einer 13 A-Netzsteckdose besteht
die Gefahr einer schweren Verletzung durch einen Stromschlag! Achten Sie auf die
ordnungsgemäße Entsorgung des abgeschnittenen Netzsteckers.
• VORSICHT: Die Verpackungsmaterialien aus Kunststoff können gefährlich sein. Sie
dürfen nicht in die Hände von Babys und Kindern gelangen, da Erstickungsgefahr
besteht. Diese Beutel sind kein Spielzeug.
• Die kabellose Warmhalteplatte dient ausschließlich dem Warmhalten gekochter
Speisen. Sie ist nicht für anderweitige Zwecke wie Auftauen, das Aufwärmen von
Resten oder die Zubereitung von ganzen Mahlzeiten konzipiert.
• Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die kabellose Warmhalteplatte ausgeschaltet ist, bevor Sie
sie an die Spannungsversorgung anschließen.
• Die kabellose Warmhalteplatte sollte über einen Zeitraum von 6 Stunden nicht länger
als 2 Stunden an die Spannungsversorgung angeschlossen und eingeschaltet werden.
• Die kabellose Warmhalteplatte wird beim Gebrauch sehr heiß und sollte nicht direkt auf
empfindliche Oberflächen gestellt werden, die durch Hitze beschädigt werden können.
• Versuchen Sie niemals, die kabellose Warmhalteplatte zu transportieren, wenn Speisen
darauf stehen.
• Lassen Sie die kabellose Warmhalteplatte während des Gebrauchs nicht
unbeaufsichtigt.
• Schalten Sie die kabellose Warmhalteplatte aus, ziehen Sie den Netzstecker und lassen
Sie sie vollständig abkühlen, bevor Sie sie bewegen, reinigen oder verstauen.
ACHTUNG – HEISSE OBERFLÄCHEN
Die mit diesem Symbol gekennzeichnete Oberfläche wird während des Gebrauchs
extrem heiß und bleibt nach Gebrauch heiß.

Berühren Sie nicht die heiße Oberfläche oder die Seiten der
Warmhalteplatte. Bitte tragen Sie zu Ihrer eigenen Sicherheit
Ofenhandschuhe, wenn Sie die heiße kabellose
Warmhalteplatte transportieren.

VOR DEM ERSTEN GEBRAUCH IHRER KABELLOSEN
WARMHALTEPLATTE
Packen Sie die kabellose Warmhalteplatte aus und entfernen Sie sämtliche
Verpackungsmaterialien.
Wischen Sie die Warmhalteplatte vor dem ersten Gebrauch mit einem feuchten Tuch ab
und danach mit einem Tuch gründlich trocken.
Die kabellose Warmhalteplatte kann jetzt verwendet werden.

GEBRAUCHSANLEITUNG
Die kabellose Warmhalteplatte heizt in nur 12 Minuten auf 120° C auf und bleibt nach der
Trennung von der Spannungsversorgung 1 Stunde warm. Das Netzkabel lässt sich leicht
abziehen, sodass Sie die Platte bequem auf Ihre Tafel stellen können.
• Stellen Sie die kabellose Warmhalteplatte auf eine ebene, stabile und trockene
Oberfläche.
• Vergewissern Sie sich, dass der Ein-/Ausschalter der kabellosen Warmhalteplatte auf
Aus steht, bevor Sie sie an die Spannungsversorgung anschließen. Stecken Sie dann
den Netzstecker in eine Steckdose.
• Schalten Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter EIN. Daraufhin leuchtet die rote Kontrollleuchte.
• Nach 12 Minuten geht die rote Kontrollleuchte aus. Die grüne Kontrollleuchte geht an,
d. h. die Temperatur wurde erreicht.
• Beim ersten Einschalten der kabellosen Warmhalteplatte kann sich ein leichter Geruch
nach Verbranntem entwickeln. Dies ist bei einem neuen Produkt normal und wird sich
nach einigen Anwendungen geben.
• Falls Sie die kabellose Warmhalteplatte noch nicht benötigen, können Sie sie bis zu
2 Stunden mit der Spannungsversorgung verbunden lassen. Das Thermostat bewahrt
die Temperatur.
• Schalten Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter aus und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker, wenn Sie
die kabellose Warmhalteplatte verwenden möchten. Ziehen Sie das Netzkabel und
transportieren Sie die Platte gegebenenfalls an den nicht heiß werdenden Griffen zur
Tafel. Tragen Sie dabei Ofenhandschuhe.
WARNUNG: Berühren Sie nicht die Metallteile der kabellosen Warmhalteplatte, greifen
Sie sie stets an den nicht heißt werdenden Griffen und tragen Sie zu Ihrem Schutz
Ofenhandschuhe.
• Nachdem Sie die kabellose Warmhalteplatte von der Spannungsversorgung getrennt
haben, setzt sie eine volle Stunde lang Hitze frei und kühlt langsam ab.
• Wenn Sie die kabellose Warmhalteplatte lieber an die Spannungsversorgung
angeschlossen lassen möchten, dürfen Sie dies über einen Zeitraum von 6 Stunden
MAXIMAL 2 Stunden lang tun. Die kabellose Warmhalteplatte verfügt über ein
Thermostat, damit eine Temperatur von 120° C bewahrt und ein Überhitzen verhindert
wird. Wenn die Temperatur gesunken ist, leuchtet die rote Kontrollleuchte eine Weile,
bis 120° C erreicht wurden. Dann leuchtet die grüne Kontrollleuchte wieder auf.
• Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht an den Rand Ihrer Arbeitsfläche oder des Tisches und
vergewissern Sie sich, dass das Netzkabel keine Stolpergefahr darstellt.
• Geben Sie Ihre Speisen in geeignete hitzebeständige Schüsseln, bevor Sie sie auf
die Warmhalteplatte stellen. Verschieben Sie die Schüsseln auf der Oberfläche der
Warmhalteplatte nicht, da auf dem gebürsteten Edelstahl ansonsten Kratzer entstehen
könnten. Seien Sie mit Porzellan besonders vorsichtig.
• Lassen Sie das Gerät nach dem Gebrauch vollständig abkühlen, bevor Sie es
transportieren, reinigen oder verstauen.

TIPPS UND TRICKS
• Nehmen Sie kochend heiße oder vorgewärmte Speisen, um bestmögliche Ergebnisse zu
erzielen.
• Verwenden Sie HITZEBESTÄNDIGE Schüsseln mit flachem Boden, damit die
Kontaktfläche zur Warmhalteplatte so groß wie möglich ist.
• Schüsseln mit hohen Seiten sollten nicht benutzt werden, da sie einen hohen
Wärmeverlust fördern.
• Decken Sie die Speisen ab, damit sie länger warm bleiben.
• Prüfen Sie die Temperatur Ihrer Speisen im Zweifelsfall mit einem Küchenthermometer.
• Nehmen Sie leere Schüsseln von der Warmhalteplatte.
• Zu Ihrer Sicherheit verfügt die Warmhalteplatte über einen Überhitzungsschutz und
schaltet sich nach 3,5 Stunden automatisch ab.
HÄUFIG GESTELLTE FRAGEN
Frage: Warum leuchtet die kabellose Warmhalteplatte nicht auf, wenn ich
sie anschalte?
Antwort: Der Gerätestecker steckt möglicherweise nicht in der Steckdose.
PFLEGE UND REINIGUNG
• Vergewissern Sie sich vor der Reinigung, dass die kabellose Warmhalteplatte
ausgeschaltet und der Netzstecker gezogen ist. Lassen Sie die kabellose
Warmhalteplatte stets vollständig abkühlen, bevor Sie sie reinigen oder verstauen.
• Reinigen Sie das Gerät vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme und nach jedem Gebrauch
gründlich.
• Überprüfen Sie die einzelnen Teile regelmäßig auf Verschleiß oder Schäden.
• Wischen Sie die Oberfläche mit einem sauberen, feuchten Tuch ab und lassen Sie sie
