SUBSEQUENT 2003/108/EC
The marking shown below indicates that the product cannot be disposed of as part of normal household waste. Electrical
and Electronic Equipment (EEE) can contain materials harmful to health and the environment, and therefore is subject to
separate waste collection: it must be disposed of at appropriate waste collection points or returned to the distributor against
purchase of new equipment of similar type or having the same functions.
The directive mentioned above, to which make reference for further details, provides for punitive actions in case of illegal
disposal of such waste.

GENERAL NORMS
Thank You for purchasing our Dishwashing Machine.
Perfect washing-up results as far as hygiene concerns and a correct operation of the dishwashing machine can
be assured only in case the instructions reported in the present manual are carefully followed.
We hope the information reported in the present manual will be helpful to You.
They are based on data and on our best updated knowledge.
Carefully read the Instructions reported in the manual, recommendations and suggestions included. Carefully
read the terms of sale too, even the ones limiting warranty.

GENERAL SAFETY REGULATIONS
This appliance in not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance (EN 60335-2-102/7.12).
THIS SAFETY CODE HAS BEEN COMPILED IN YOUR INTEREST. Strict adherence to these rules will reduce
the risks of injury both to yourself and to others;
Personnel working with this machine must adhere strictly to all statutory safety regulations as well as the specific
rules listed below. Failure to do so may result in personal inyury and damage to the machine;
- DO NOT attempt to move, install, set-up or operate this machine until you have read and fully understood
this Manual. If doubt persists, ask your supervisor;
- never leave tools, parts or other loose material on or in the machine;
- Before switching the equipment the equipment on, make sure that the model plate data conforms to that
of the electrical and water distribution network;
- remember that even with the mains isolator in the “OFF” position, the incoming cables are still live;
- BEFORE starting machine o cycle, after any maintenance or repair work, make sure all protective are
correctly installed;
- be vigilant at all times, remember that your safety and that of your fellow workers depend on you;
- when moving or lifting the machine, care must be taken to comply with all the relevant regulations
governing such operations;
- installation should be carried out by qualified personnel according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- this equipment should be destined to the use which it has been conceived for. Any other application
should be considered improper and consequently dangerous;
- the equipment should only be used by personnel trained for its use;
- Repeat regularly the training courses to avoid injury.
- Do not open the door when the machine is working. There is a risk of splashing boiling water impregnated
with detergent;
- When the door is open and the machine is on, do not immerse your bare hands in the washing tank;
- The machine must not be installed in areas at risk of explosion, freezing or not constructed in accordance
with local health and safety norms.
- Touch the control screen only with your fingers, avoiding the use of sharp objects.
- At the end of the working day turn off the water tap and turn the master switch off.
SPECIAL SAFETY REGULATIONS
- adjustement and repairs must be carried out only by personnel qualified. Repair carried out by unskilled
personnel may be dangerous;
- perfect washing-up results as far as hygiene concerns and a correct operation of the washing machine
can be assured only in case the instructions reported in the present handbook are carefully followed;
- the machine must be only used by authorized personnel which must comply with sanitary measures;
- do not leave the machine in environment with temperatures inferior to 0°C;
- the machine protection degree is IP55 for Control board and IP21 for machine, therefore it should not
be washed with direct high pressure jets of water;
- If the power cable is defective, it must be replaced by your manufacturer or by a technical
assistance service or by a qualified technician in order to avoid risks.

USE OF CHEMICAL PRODUCTS (detergents, sparkling aid)
CAUTION: Observe the safety notes and dosage data for the use of chemicals. During the use of the chemical
substance wear protective clothing, gloves and protective glasses. Do not mix different cleaning products.
-Observe the safety notes indicated and the dosage recommendations for the use of chemicals.
-When using chemicals, wear protective clothing, gloves and goggles.
-Use only suitable products for industrial dishwashers directly recommended by Lamber.
-Do not mix cleaning products to avoid crystallization that could ruin the detergent dispenser.
-Do not use products that create foam as hand soap or detergent for manual washing.
These products should not be introduced into the machine not even by pre-treatment of dishes.
Attention. During the use of chemicals is advisable to wear appropriate clothing, such as gloves and
protectives glasses.
UNPACKING AND DELIVERY CHECKS
When the case with the machine has been received, unpack it as follows:
- Remove the upper cover and the wooden case side walls, take care not to damage the machine,
- Remove possible accessories boxes,
- Remove the protecting cellophane,
- Make sure that the machine has not been damaged during transport,
- Make sure that all covers and panels have been correctly fixed and that no loosen part is present,
- Visually inspect that all electrical components are integral.
TRANSPORT AND INSTALLATION
- To lift and transport the machine, insert the truck forks under the frame connected to the points indicated by
the yellow adhesives applied on the machine front side (see draw below).

- Before plugging the machine, make sure that the supply voltage of the domestic wiring system and the water
supply from water connection corresponds to the ones reported on the rating plate
- Installation should be carried out by qualified personnel according to the manufacturer's indications
During instalation, it is recommended to level the machine in order to ensure a correct operation.

First Section - FOR THE USER
The compact independent pre-wash unit allows to replace the hand prewashing usually carried out on
the dirty dishes.
Two strainer drawers with a high capacity allow to collect the dirt present on the dishes.
These strainer drawers can be cleaned without completely stopping the ongoing washing cycle.
OPERATION BEFORE WORKING
Make sure that :
-the wall-mounted on/off switch is
switched on;
- the water and steam* cocks are open;
- water and steam (*) are present in the
system;
- the filters are in their housings
- Check that the detergent and rinse aid
containers are not empty.
CAUTION: Observe the safety notes and
dosage data for the use of chemicals. During the
use of the chemical substance wear protective
clothing, gloves and protective glasses. Do not
mix different cleaning products.
-Tank’s and suction pump’s filters are in
their correct housing (see page 10 filters F1
F2,F3 and F4)
-The courtains are in the correct position.
-The courtains must have the shorter side
facing the baskets entry, (see the blue
warning stickers placed on the doors)
-
- The inspection door must be properly
closed
- Please pay attention to the opening and
closing of the door of the Dishwasher. Do not
use the machine if you are wearing
clothes/items that could get entangles in the
dishwasher parts. As they can limit
personnel’s regular moving ability!
- Check that the frontal strainer drawer is
properly placed and closed in its housing.
- The sizes of the dishes to wash have not to
be larger than the working washing sizes

START-UP AND USE OF THE
PREWASH UNIT PRL-C
(For the independent unit)
The independent pre-wash unit PRL-C must be
connected directly to the rack conveyor system
of the main dishwasher.
The rack conveyor will work only when the
main dishwasher will be working.
First operations
Make sure that the main switch is switched on.

Turn the selector switch “A”, placed on the side
panel of the unit, in position ON
The tank water feeding will start and it will take
about 3 minutes.
At the end of the tank water feeding the
machine is ready to start the prewash of the
dishes.
PRE-WASH OF THE DISHES
1) Check that the door is closed and that
the the frontal strainer drawer is
properly placed and closed in its
housing.
2) Place the dishes inside the baskets.
See the corresponding page for the proper
positioning of the of the dishes inside the
baskets.
3) To start up the unit we suggest to wait for
the beginning of wash cycle in the main
dishwasher. In this way also the rack conveyor
will be started.
4) Press START pushbutton “B” placed on the
side panel of the unit. The pre-wash jet in the
unit will begin (lamp “C” is lighted on)
5) Place the baskets to wash in the washing
tunnel.
The basket will automatically go on.
.
N.B. Introduce the baskets so that the dishes
and the trays are in parallel with the
dishwasher and facing the exit.
6) To stop the pre-wash, turn the selector
switch “A” in position OFF.
Please note!
The opening of the frontal strainer drawer of
the PRL-C unit causes the stop only of the pre-
wash pump. The rack conveyoring will continue
and so the washing of the dishes in the main
dishwasher won’t be stopped.
The opening of the door of the PRL-C unit
blocks the pre-wash unit’s pump and the rack
conveyor.
The EMERGENCY STOP pushbutton blocks
the rack conveyor and the wash only of the
main dishwasher.
TANK DRAIN
At the end of the daily operations carry out the
drain by turning the Selector switch “A” in
position “drain” (lamp “D” lighted on)
At the end of the drain turn the selector switch
in position OFF.

STARTING UP AND USE OF THE PRE-
WASH UNIT
For a unit directly connected to the
machine!
The independent pre-wash unit is connected
to the main pull-through dishwasher.
The tank water feeding of the pre-wash unit is
automatically carried out at the switching on of
the main dishwasher.
After about 2 minutes the water feeding stops
and the unit is ready to work.
WARNINGS DURING THE WASH
Open periodically the frontal strainer drawer,
remove the internal filters and remove the dirt
that has accumulate during the pre-wash.
To open the drawer is enouth to extract it. A
mechanical lock avoids the complete loss of
the drawer.
Attention !
The strainer drawers can be cleaned without
completely stopping the ongoing washing cycle
of the main dishwasher connected to the pre-
wash unit.
If the filters are too dirty, the pre-wash stops
automatically (the cycle lamp switches off)
To remove and wash the filters it’s not
necessary to completely extract the drawer.
Remove the internal filters and eliminate the
dirt that has accumulate during the pre-wash.
-Check that the inspection door is properly
closed
- Press START pushbutton to start again the
pre-wash cycle.
Attention !
Even if the machine is equipped with the above
mentioned security devices, risks of burns on
the arms are still possible.
As already written in the section “Warnings
during the wash”, never put your bare hands in
the hot and with detergent water of the tanks.
This can cause burns and skin irritations. If this
should happen, rinse the hands immediately
and abundantly with running water. Refer
anyway to the specificationsof the detergent
you use.
When the pre-wash is working, don’t open too
fast the door or the lower strainer drawer.
We suggest you to strictly follow the above
mentioned instructions to have the best
washing result.

AFTER WASHING OPERATIONS
PRECAUTION AND CLEANING
INSTRUCTIONS
Attention. Before carrying out cleaning the inside
of the machine, make sure that there are no foreign
objects that could damage the rusty steel inside the tank.
The eventual rust particles could come from non-
stainless steel dishes, from baskets or damaged water
pipes not rust-proof.
-high temperatures can be reached inside
the machine (90°C). Affter power supply
has been removed, wait until the machine
has reached the room temperature,
before working on it;
-never leave tools, parts or other loose
material on or in the machine;
-BEFORE starting machine or cycle, after
any maintenance or repair work, make
sure all protective are correctly installed;
At the end of the working operations:
ATTENTION!
Drain only for a unit directly connected
to the machine!
1– Press the red EMERGENCY STOP
pushbutton placed on the side panel.

It is necessary to push the button “D” at the
end of the working process for 3 seconds:
-The LED will flash and on the information
display you will read “TANK DRAIN” (attention!
The “A” button has to be on switch-off position).
-After two minutes the drain stops
automatically.
2- IMPORTANT: Before carrying out
cleaning and maintenance operations
disconnect the machine from the power
supply source by means of the wall-
mounted switch or by means of the
disconnecting switch located on the control
panel.
ATTENTION!
Drain only for independent unit!
At the end of the daily operations carry out the
drain by turning the Selector switch “A” in
position “drain” (lamp “D” lighted on)
At the end of the drain turn the selector switch
in position OFF.
Then:
3– Lift the inspection door making sure that it’s
properly locked to the appropriate support.
4- Check if the wash nozzles are not
clogged. If it’s necessary to disassemble them,
pay attention then to reassemble them properly
(twice a week).

5– Open the man strainer drawer
Remove the internal filters F1 and eliminate the
dirt that has accumulate during the pre-wash.
Remove also the main drawer (see picture)
and rinse it with clean water.
-To remove the drawer completely from its
housing it’s enough to grip the rear handle
placed on the bottom of the drawer (see the
following picture). This rear handle allows
you to easily grip it during the removal.

6- Remove the filters F3 on the right and left
position of the tank and rinse them with clean
water.

filters.

7- Remove the upper tank filters F2 and rinse
them with clean water.
8– Remove the pump suction filter F4 and rinse
it with clean water.
9–At the end of the cleaning, reassemble
the filter F3 in the right place (see
draw)

and the others filter F4,F2 and F1.
10 - Reassemble the curtains in the right place
ensuring that:
The curtains must have the shorter side facing
the entry of the baskets, (see the signalling
blue stamps placed on the doors) (see draw
pag.10)
11– Clean the outside of the machine with a
wet sponge. Never use water jets because,
besides being dangerous, they can damage
the electrical parts. Never use detergents,
abrasive stuffs, rough sponges or steel
brushes.
12– In order to avoid the formation of nasty
smells, let the doors open making sure
that they are firmly linked to the
apposite supports.
Machine prolonged stop
In case the machine is not used for some
weeks it is advisable to carry out an accurate
cleaning of all components inside to avoid the
formation of unpleasant smells.
In case of a very long standstill, it is advisable
to oil the stainless steel surfaces with white
mineral oil.
ACHIEVEMENTS
Any deficiency in the washing process is
apparent when dirty residuals are visible. Any
halos might be caused by an insufficuent
rinsing: in this case, check that the rinsing jets
are clean and there is a sufficient pressure in
the water distribution network (2÷4 bar) ;
In the case that residuals are present, check
that:
• the washing jets are clean
•pre-washing temperatur is 40 °C maximum;
•washing temperature is from 55 to 60 °C,
• rinsing temperature is from 80 to 85 °C,
•there is detergent in the right concentration;
•the filters are clean;
•washing water is not dirty;
•the positions of the objects in the rack are
correct.
IMPORTANT: Before carrying out cleaning and
maintenance operations disconnect the
machine from the power supply source by
means of the wall-mounted switch or by means
of the disconnecting switch located on the
control panel.

SAFETY DEVICES
The machine are equipped with a number
of devices in order to ensure the safety of
the operator and of the appliance itself.
LIMIT MICROSWITCH
If dishes reach the end of the unloading
area, before the operator has managed to
unload the basket, the limit switch stops the
drawbar motion and therefore the baskets.
DOOR MICROSWITCHES
Each inspection door is provided with two
safety microswitches forming two
redundant chains (safety level 2).
If one of the doors is opened accidentally,
the pumps, the conveyor belt gearmotor
and the rinsing area solenoid valve stop
working.
This way all washing operations are
stopped preventing dangerous jets of hot
water from spurting out.
Operation is restored only when the door
are closed again and the start button “H”
pressed.
Depending on the characteristics of the
washing system and the position of the
operators may be necessary more
emergency buttons.
EMERGENCY STOP PUSHBUTTON
Dish inlet and outlet side of the machine is
equipped with a red mushroom-shaped
pushbutton on yellow field, which, if
pressed, stops all motors. Once the trouble
has been removed, it is possible to restart
the machine only after the pushbutton has
been rotated and released. Subsequently
press the start button “H” again.
Depending on the characteristics of the
washing system and the position of the
operators may be necessary more
emergency buttons.
MOTOR PROTECTION DEVICES
Each motor is protected against short-
circuits and current overload by automatic
magneto-thermal relays.
Lamp "M" switching on signalizes the
intervention of any of these relays.
In this case, the machine should be
switched off and qualified personnel should
be asked for repair.
ELEMENTS PROTECTION
Each element is protected against short
circuit by automatic breakers.
Tank elements are protected against dry
running by minimum level pressure switch.
Boiler and dryer elements by thermostats
with manual reset.
In case of troubles, ask for the intervention
of qualified and authorized personnel (see
the paragraph dedicated to the user).
RESIDUAL RISKS
Although the appliance is equipped with the
above-mentioned safety devices, danger of
burns to upper limbs persists.
As already mentioned in the paragraph
“DURING WASHING OPERATIONS”,
avoid dipping your naked hands into soapy
hot water of the tanks. This can cause
burns and skin irritations.
In this case, immediately rinse them with
plenty of water.Anyway consult the product
card of the detergent employed.
