Installation
•Carefully remove all contents from the box.
•Connect the AV Cable to the LCD monitor.
•Locate the Video output on your video source (Video Camera, DVD Player, Etc…)
The most common video output is a female RCA plug which is usually yellow. Many professional
cameras may also have a BNC video out. The BNC is a larger type of plug. If your camera doesn’t
have an RCA or BNC video output, you may need to get some type of adapter such as an S-video
to RCA. These adapters are available at most video supply stores.
•Connect your cameras video out into one of the RCA or BNC plugs on the LCD’s AV
cable. (You may need to use the small RCA MALE to MALE adapter which is included)
•For the audio, plug your audio out into the ‘white’ RCA plug on the LCD’s AV Cable.
•Connect the power source plug into the black end of the LCD’s AV cable. (AC Adapter,
XLR or Cigarette adapter) If you are using the XLR or cigarette plug to power the LCD
from a battery, you will need a 12 volt DC battery pack. There are many available from
online vendors. An example is the Bescor HP-3ATM – Google it!
•Make sure your video source is powered on and feeding the video out.
•Press the ‘POWER’ button on the LCD and wait for the image to appear. You may need
to press the v1/v2 button to select between the two video input channels (RCA/BNC).
