Important Safety Precautions
Always switch off and unplug the appliance from the main
electrical supply before cleaning it or when not in use.
Do not immerse the appliance or electrical parts into water or
any other liquids.
Always place appliance on a flat sturdy surface. When moving
appliance, always take precaution not to touch the hot surface.
Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance
containing hot liquids.
Close supervision is needed when operating appliance near
children. Ensure the electrical cord does not hang over the work
surface.
Always attach the power base to the appliance BEFORE you
plug in to the main electrical supply. To disconnect the appliance,
switch off the power first before removing the power base from
the main electrical supply outlet.
Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord set or plug.
Any repairs should always be carried out by the Customer
Service Centre or by an authorized service centre.
Do not place the appliance on or near hot gas or electric burner,
in a heated oven, or near easily flammable material.
Do not use appliance for anything other than its intended use.
Use of accessories or equipments not supplied by the
manufacturer may cause damage or malfunctioning of your
appliance or result in injuries.
This appliance should not be used by the physically and
mentally challenged or those with slow response (including
children) unless sufficient supervision is provided during
operation.

This appliance is suitable for normal household use only and not
for commercial use.
Ensure that the voltage range shown on the appliance rating
label corresponds to the main power supply’s voltage.
Features
Boil-dry protection –Should you have accidentally allowed the
kettle to operate without water, boil-dry protection will
automatically switch it off. If this should occur, allow 15 minutes
to cool down before filling with cold water and re-boiling.
360oC rotational stainless steel coating and anti-slip feature
design for safety and convenient use.
Cord storage –Power cord can be stored at the bottom of the
power base.

.How to Operate Your Pyramid Kettle
Before using for the first time
Remove any adhesive stickers and foreign objects before use.
Boil and discard the water at least twice without adding any
chemicals or other additives. This will remove any dust or
residues remaining from the manufacturing process.
How to boil water
1. Lift up the jug kettle from the power base before filling with
water.
2. Fill the jug kettle with water as required. Do not exceed the
“MAX” mark or below the “MIN” mark.
NOTE: Do not fill the water over the maximum level, as water
may spill out of the spout when boiling.
3. Place the jug kettle onto the power base and connect to the
power socket.
4. Press down the power switch to start operating. The boiling
indicator light will be illuminated.
5. You may interrupt the boiling process at any time by lifting up
the switch to turn off the power.
6. The jug kettle will switch off automatically when the water is
boiled. The boiling indicator light will be turned off.
7. Disconnect the jug kettle from the power socket.
8. Do not open the lid whilst pouring as hot steam or hot water
may leak out and cause injury to the user.
9. If necessary, you may have to wait 15 to 20 seconds before you
can press the switch again to re-boil water.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Always disconnect the appliance from the power supply and
remove the power base from the kettle before cleaning.
Always allow your appliance to cool completely before cleaning.
Never immerse the appliance completely in water or any other
liquids.
If necessary, the exterior surfaces may be cleaned with a soft
damp cloth. Never use any chemical or abrasive solution to
clean the jug kettle.
To clean the interior of the kettle, use a food-grade descaling
compound manufactured for this purpose, such as citric acid.
