Plug an appropriate analog source
of music into the 1/8” stereo
headphone jack on the front of the
AU7007 and that music will then
be available to anyone who
selects that AU7007 as a source
on their keypad.
Run Cat 5 cable from the enclosure to a
single gang box at the eventual location of
the AU7007 and terminate the cable at
each end with an RJ45 plug (568A).

The AU7007 Global Source Input is a
single-gang, wall-mounted, single Cat 5
cable connected input to the Digital Audio
system. It inputs analog audio, using its
1/8” stereo headphone connector, which is
converted to AES3 digital format, sent to
the AU7000 over a single Cat 5 cable.

At the AU7007 location, plug the
terminated Cat 5 cable from the enclosure
into the rear of the AU7007 and mount the
AU7007 into the single gang box and
attach the wall plate.

At the enclosure, plug the terminated Cat 5
cable from the remote AU7007 into one of
the four “Source” ports on the AU7000 and
apply power to the AU7000.
