1. Do not operate the appliance without any water to avoid damaging the heat elements.
2. Please disconnect the appliance from the mains power supply when not in use.
3. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table counter or get in contact with a hot
surface.

5. Should you accidentally allow the kettle to operate without water, the boil-dry protection
will automatically switch it off. If this should occur, allow the kettle to cool before filling
with cold water and re-boiling.
6. Ensure that the kettle is placed on a flat, even surface and is out of reach of children.
7. To protect against a fire, electric shock or personal injury, do not immerse the cord,
electric plug or kettle in water or other liquids.
8. Always take care when pouring boiling water. Pour the boiling water slowly and carefully.
9. Be careful when opening the lid for refilling when the kettle is hot as steam may be
expelled.
10. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
11. Always hold the kettle using the handle.
12. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot water.

14. When the water is boiling, avoid contact with the hot steam that is coming from the
