Important Safety Instructions
When used in the directed manner, this unit has been designed and manufactured to
ensure your personal safety. However, improper use can result in potential electrical
shock or fire hazards. Please read all safety and operating instructions carefully before
installation and use, and keep these instructions handy for future reference. Take special
note of all warnings listed in these instructions and on the unit.
1. Water and Moisture
The unit should not be used near water. For example: near a bathtub, washbowl,
kitchen sink, laundry tub, swimming pool or in a set basement.
2. Ventilation
The unit should be situated so that its location or position does not interfere with its
proper ventilation. For example, it should not be situated on a bed, sofa, rug or similar
surface that may block the ventilation openings. The ventilation should not be impeded
by covering the ventilation openings with items, such as newspapers, table-cloths,
curtains, etc. Also, it should not be placed in a built-in installation, such as a bookcase
or cabinet, which may impede the flow of air through the ventilation openings.
3. Heat & Flame
The unit should be situated away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers,
stoves or other appliances (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the apparatus.
4. Power Source
The unit should be connected to a power supply only of the type described in the
operating instructions or as marked on the appliance.
Where the AC/DC Adaptor is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device
shall remain readily operable.
5. Power Cord Protection
Power supply cords should be routed so that they are not likely to be walked on or
pinched by items placed upon or against them. It is always best to have a clear area
from where the cord exits the unit to where it is plugged into an AC outlet.
6. Cleaning
The unit should be cleaned only as recommended. See the section "Care and
Maintenance" of this manual for cleaning instructions.
7. Object and Liquid Entry
Care should be taken so that objects do not fall and liquids are not spilled into any
openings or vents located on the product. It shall not be exposed to dripping or
splashing and that no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on
the apparatus.
8. Attachments
Do not use attachments no recommended by the product manufacturer.
9. Lightning and Power Surge Protection
Unplug the unit from the wall outlet and disconnect the periods of time. This will
prevent damage to the product due to lightning and power-line surges.
10. Overloading
Do not overload wall outlets, extension cords, or integral convenience receptacles as
this can result in a risk of fire of electric shock.

11. Damage Requiring Service
This unit should be serviced by qualified service personnel when:
A.The power supply cord or plug has been damaged.
B.Objects have fallen into or liquid has been spilled into the enclosure.
C.The unit has been exposed to rain.
D.The unit has been dropped or the enclosure damaged.
E.The unit exhibits a marked change in performance or does not operate normally.
12. Periods of Nonuse
If the unit is to be left unused for an extended period of time,
such as a month or
longer, the power cord should be unplugged from the unit to prevent damage or
corrosion.
13. Servicing
The user should not attempt to service the unit beyond those methods described in
the user's operating instructions. Service methods not covered in the operating
instructions should be referred to qualified service personnel.

Back-up battery :
The backup battery compartment located at bottom of the main unit.
(1) Open the battery compartment lid.
(2) Remove the insulation tab attached in the battery compartment.
(3) Close the battery compartment lid.
Remote Control
The remote control operates on one DC3V CR2025 type Lithium battery (included).
To activate the remote control, remove the insulation tab attached in the battery
Installation
In case of a power interruption or AC power failure, the unit incorporated a DC3V
CR2032 type Lithium battery(included) to backup the clock, preset radio stations data.
Warnings:
- Battery shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.
- Be sure that the battery are installed correctly. Wrong polarity may damage the unit.
- If the unit is not to be used for an extended period of time, remove the battery.
- Do not dispose of batteries in fire, battery may explode or leak.
AC-DC Power Adaptor Connection
The unit is powered by an external AC-DC power adaptor, required the output DC15V
2400mA (included).
(1) Connect the adaptor's DC output plug to the DC-in jack of the main unit.
(2) Firmly and securely plug the adaptor's AC plug into AC main outlet.

Select a suitable adaptor for your iPod (the one with your iPod at the time of purchase)
Caution :
Listening to iPhone / iPod
Please be careful when seating the iPhone / iPod into the docking to avoid
damaging the 30-pin connector on the iPhone / iPod or in the docking system.
This model adopts different iPhone / iPod models. If the docking port will not be used for
an extended period of time, it is recommended to cover the docking port by using the
"Dock Cover " insert (included).
Your iPhone / iPod can now be inserted into the docking port by placing the connector
on the bottom of the iPhone / iPod connector in the docking bay.

Radio Preset Stations
The units allows you to store up to 20 FM stations for easy recall at any time.
TUNE button in the main unit can tune radio freguency up only.
To select FM radio mode, press the FUNC button on main unit (or the RADIO
button on remote control) repeatedly until the radio indicator "FM" is shown on the
LCD display.
To automatically search for stations with strong signals, Long press the TUNE +/-
button from the remote control until the frequency digits on display begins to scan
then release the button. The tuner will stop on the first strong signal it finds.
If the automatic tuning does not stop on the exact frequency of the station, for
example, it stops on 100.9 MHz instead of 100.8 MHz, use the manual tuning
method to "fine tune" to the exact frequency of the desired station.

the external device as usual.
Notes : Press the button from the main unit or the STANDBY button from the
remote control to turn off the unit when you finish listening.

When the unit is powered on (in iPhone/iPod, Aux-In or Radio mode), the unit allows you
to select your desired Bass and Treble level.
Bass setting:
1. Press the BASS +/- button from the remote control to adjust to the desired Bass level,
the "BASS" indicator blinks on display.
Treble setting:

-If "Wake to iPod" is selected but your iPod has not been docked, the alarm source will
be redirected to the Alarm Buzzer automatically when the alarm is reached.
-When "Wake to Radio" is selected, make sure the radio station which you want to wake
to is tuned.

Wichtige Sicherheitshinweise
Wenn das Gerät entsprechend der Anweisungen benutzt wird, kann aufgrund
des Gerätedesign Ihre persönliche Sicherheit gewährleistet werden. Bei
unsachgemäßer Benutzung besteht allerdings Stromschlag- und Brandgefahr.
Bitte lesen Sie alle Sicherheits- und Bedienungshinweise sorgfältig vor der
Inbetriebnahme durch und bewahren Sie diese Anleitung zum späteren
Nachschlagen auf. Beachten Sie besonders alle Warnhinweise in dieser
Anleitung und auf dem Gerät.
1. Wasser und Feuchtigkeit
Das Gerät darf nicht in der Nähe von Wasser benutzt werden. Beispiel: in
der Nähe von Badewannen, Spülen, Waschbecken, Schwimmbecken oder
feuchten Kellerräumen.
2. Belüftung
Das Gerät sollte so aufgestellt werden, dass die Luftzirkulation nicht
beeinträchtigt wird.
Das Gerät darf z. B. nicht auf ein Bett, Sofa, Bettvorleger oder eine andere
weiche Unterlage gestellt werden, bei der die Ventilationsöffnungen
blockiert werden könnten. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass keine der

5. Netzkabelschutz
Das Netzkabel muss so verlegt werden, dass es nicht durch Gegenstände
eingeklemmt werden kann bzw. darauf gestellt werden. Achten Sie
außerdem darauf, dass niemand auf das Netzkabel treten kann. Es ist
immer sinnvoll den Bereich, an dem das Kabel aus dem Gerät austritt und
den Bereich um die Steckdose herum, frei zu halten.

Das Gerät darf nur den Anweisungen nach gereinigt werden. Siehe

Ventilationsöffnungen des Geräts gelangen. Dieses Gerät darf keinen
Wassertropfen und -spritzern ausgesetzt werden. Gegenstände die mit
Flüssigkeiten gefüllt sind dürfen nicht auf das Gerät gestellt werden.
8. Zubehör
Verwenden Sie keine Aufsätze, die nicht vom Hersteller angegeben
wurden.
9. Blitz- und Überspannungsschutz
Ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose, wenn Sie das Gerät über einen
längeren Zeitraum nicht benutzen. Damit werden aufgrund von
Blitzeinschlägen und Überspannung entstehende Schäden am Gerät
verhindert.
10. Überlastung
Überlasten Sie niemals Steckdosen, Verlängerungskabel oder
Geräteanschlüsse, da dies zu Feuer- oder Stromschlaggefahr führen kann.
11. Schäden, die Reparaturen erfordern
Dieses Gerät muss durch entsprechend ausgebildetes Personal repariert
werden, wenn:
A. Das Netzkabel oder der Netzstecker beschädigt sind.
B. Fremdgegenstände oder Flüssigkeiten in das Gehäuse gelangt sind.
C. Wenn das Gerät Regenwasser ausgesetzt wurde.
D. Das Gerät heruntergefallen ist oder das Gehäuse beschädigt wurde.
E. Das Gerät nicht wie gewohnt funktioniert oder einen starken
Leistungsabfall zeigt.
12. Bei Nicht-Benutzung
Wenn das Gerät über einen gewissen Zeitraum nicht benutzt wird, um für
einen längeren Zeitraum, z. B. einen Monat oder länger, sollten Sie das
Netzkabel aus der Steckdose ziehen, um Schäden oder Korrosion zu
vermeiden.
13. Wartung
Der Benutzer sollte keine Versuche anstellen das Gerät eigenhändig zu
warten, es sei denn es wurde entsprechend in der Bedienungsanleitung
beschrieben. Wartungsmethoden, die nicht in der Bedienungsanleitung
beschrieben werden, dürfen nur von entsprechend ausgebildetem
Fachpersonal ausgeführt werden.
