Congratulations on your purchase of Lenofocus Mini
Camera 008. Please read this manual carefully
before operation and keep it in a safe place for future
reference.
If you have any questions about operation, defective,
video playback or other issues, please do not
PRECAUTION
Failure to follow these steps each time may result in
damage to your camera, and could possibly destroy
your camera. Your warranty does not cover
accidental damage or issues caused by user error.
*The camera is not drop resistant, therefore please
avoid unnecessary roughness when handling the
camera. Try to avoid dropping or damaging the
camera in any way.
*Don’t keep the camera in moist circumstances for
long periods of time.
*Don’t keep the camera in high temperatures as it
may cause damage of external and internal
components.
*Use a specialized cloth to clean the camera lens

and wipe away fingerprints or dust.
*For the best and most efficient usage of your battery,
we suggest using it in 0-40 °C.
*When inserting or removing the micro SD card,
please keep the camera turned off to avoid damage
of the card or saved files.
*Store the camera in a dry place and remove the
micro SD card if storing for long periods of time.
About the SD card
*Please use a Class 10 or higher speed micro SD
card.
*Please use genuine brand micro-SD cards. The
non-genuine or OEM cards may cause issues, such
as the failure of buttons, invalid video/photo issues,
turning the camera off during recording, causing the
camera to die, and so on.
*This camera supports max 64GB micro SD card.
Please mind: if micro SD card has problems, it will
cause failure to use the camera.And computer can’t
recognize the camera as well.

About Charging
Before using the camera for the first time, please
fully charge the camera.
When charge the camera, please give priority to use
the USB cable in the box.

* When the purple indicator goes off, please continue
to charge the camera for extra 30 minutes to assure
it is fully charged. Usually, charging time is 1 to 2
hours.
* If store the camera for long time, you should charge
it once every 3 months.
BASIC OPERATION
When using the camera for the first time.
A. Insert a micro SD card
Please insert a micro SD card into camera before
operation. Without micro SD card, blue indicator will
be solid on for a while and then turn off automatically.
The camera is compatible with high speed micro SD
cards (class 10 or higher).

B. Turn the camera on
Long press Power button for 2-3 seconds, blue light
will be solid on. Camera enter standby status.
C. Turn the camera off
Long press Power button to turn the camera of, blue
light will off.
D. Format micro SD card
1. Long press Power button to turn the camera on,
blue light is solid on.
2. Short Press Power button 5 times, green light
will flash quickly and go off, then blue light is
solid on. Format is finished.
E. Recording video
1. Move Mode switch to Video position.
2. Long press Power button to turn the camera on,
blue light is solid on.
3. Short press Power button to start video
recording. Blue light will flash 6 times and then
go off.

4. When you want to stop video recording, short
press Power button again. Blue light will be solid
on.
The video footage is stored as a segment every 5
minutes. You can add all video segments to a player
software and play them continuously. If you can’t
play recorded files by your computer default media
player, please download VLC media player or other
media player to have another try.
F. Recording audio
1. Move Mode switch toAudio position.
2. Long press Power button to turn the camera on,
green light is solid on.
3. Short press Power button to start audio
recording. Green light will flash 6 times and then
go off.
4. When you want to stop audio recording, short
press Power button again. Green light will be
solid on.
The audio file is stored as a segment every 1 hour.
G. Reset the camera
When the camera is on, insert a needle or a pin into

the RESET hole and press the reset button inside,
the camera will be reset.
When will you need to reset the camera?
When the camera doesn’t work properly or it can’t be
turned off, you need to reset it.
H. Set date and time
(1) Insert a micro SD card into the camera, and
connect the camera to your computer.
(2) Open the SD card and find “SETTIME”
document. Open the document and you will find
an existing date and time.
(3) Change the date and time
(4) Save and exit.
(5) Remove the camera from your computer and
turn it on. And then the changed time will be
applied to the camera.
(6) Note: if you want to show date and time on
video, please set correct date and time before
your recording.

I. Camera setting
Factory default setting is 1928x720P, loop recording
and no time stamp on video. If you use this setting,
you don’t need to change camera settings. If you
want to change settings, please do as following:
(1) Insert a micro SD card into the camera, and
connect the camera to your computer.
(2) Open the SD card, create a .txt document and
name it as ‘settings’.
(3) Open ‘settings’ document, and input numbers
according to the following format:
X, Y, Z
When X is 0, it means the video resolution is
1280*720P;
When X is 1, it means the video resolution is
1920*1080P;
When Y is 0, the camera will turn LOOP
RECORDING off;
When Y is 1, the camera will turn LOOP
RECORDING on;
When Z is 0, the camera will turn TIME STAMP
off;
When Z is 1, the camera will turn TIME STAMP
on.

(4) Save and exit.
(5) Remove the camera from your computer and
turn it on, it will be set to your desired settings.
J. Connecting your camera to a PC
The camera can be connected to a computer and
recognized as a mass storage device. You can copy
or delete video and audio files directly from your
computer.
K. Charging and recording at the same time
You can charge the camera while it is recording
video or audio, and recording won’t be stopped. If
you want long time recording, please connect the
camera to a power bank or USB adapter.

M. Troubleshooting
(1) If the following problems occur:
a. Blue indicator flashes quickly;
b. No video/audio recorded;
c. Your computer can’t recognize the camera

when connect it to your computer.
Solutions:
A. Please check if the SD card is good and
genuine brand? If the SD card is class 10 or
higher speed SD card?
B. Please format the SD card;
C. If possible, try a new micro SD card and USB
cable.
D. Please reset the camera.
(2) If the camera can’t be charged, please try
another USB cable and USB charger.
(3) If the camera doesn’t work properly or can be
turned off, please reset it.
(4) If you can’t play video on computer, please
download and install VLC media player and try
again.
