Using a tape measure find the middle of
the cooktop and draw a thin vertical line
using a pencil from cooktop to a ceiling
to ensure correct vertical alignment of
the range hood installation. See Figure 1
Important: You must use a stud finder to
find location of wooden studs located in
the installation area. All screws on the
mounting bracket must be screwed in
the wooden stud located inside the wall.
If the installation loacation does not have
required wooden stud than it must be
installed inside the wall
Using a tape measure find the distance
(B) from the cooktop to the middle of the
pre-drilled holes on the mounting
bracket. Please refer to the table on the
Figure 2 to keep the range hood
installation within the required distance
from the cooktop surface.
Align and level the bracket to the wall
using a level and the drawn center line.
Using a pencil and the bracket as a
template, mark 4 holes for drilling on the
wall through the bracket's pre-drilled
holes. See Figure 2
Remove the bracket. Using a drill, make 4
holes through the wall. Apply silicone into
the holes and insert 4 wall anchors. Attach
the bracket and using a screwdriver screw
in 4 screws (M5x50mm) to secure the
bracket on the wall. Use only manual
screwdriver and do not overtighten the
screws. See Figure 3

Important Note:
Installation of the range
hood requires that a
properly grounded power
outlet is located in the
area where the telescopic
chimney will be installed.
Ideally, the outlet must be
offset from the edge of
the chimney by 1 1/2"
from either side and not
less than 1 1/2" above the
bracket.

Using assistance of a second person,
carefully lift the range hood and hang it
on the installed bracket. Adjust the
position of the range hood by slightly
sliding it from side to side to center it by
the cooktop. See Figure 5
Using the pre-installed power cable
connect the range hood to the power
outlet. Ensure that voltage of the power
supply matches voltage of the appliance,
all wiring is properly grounded, the supply
cord is well fixed and do not contact the
sharp edge of the enclosure. Plug the
appliance into the power supply socket.
Clean the area of all dust and waste
matter to avoid it being sucked into the
chimney before testing. Check that the
work top lights, motor and speed work
properly. See Figure 6
Range hood can be optionally ducted to
the outside using a rigid or flexible fire
retardant ducting of a suitable and
matching size. The installer should provide
suitable ducting and sealing material for
the installation.
The ducting tube should run parallel to the
wall up to the ducting hole and not be bent
more than 90 degrees to ensure easy flow
of extracted air. The length should not be
more than 29 1/2' with not more than 2
bends.

ATTACH DUCT PIPE TO AIR OUTLET
MOUNT RANGE HOOD TO WALL AND CONNECT TO POWER
The range hood comes with a flexible
duct pipe that is extendable up to 70" in
length.
Prior to the range hood mounting attach
the duct pipe to the flopper and secure
the duct pipe with the range hood by
screwing in 2 M3x10mm screws into the
designated holes from the bothe sides of
the duct pipe.

INSTALL SAFETY CLIPS
EXTEND AND SECURE CHIMNEY
After mounting the range, safety clips must be
installed to help avoid the range hood
accidentally slide up and fall from the wall.
1. Place both safety clips in the designated
locations inside of the chimney.
2. Use the safety clips as a template and mark
holes for drilling using a pencil or marker.
3. Drill two holes (one for each safety clip) and
insert two wall anchors. Attach safety clips to the
drilled holes and secure both safety clips by
screwing in two M5x50mm screws into the
anchors through the pre-drilled holes on the clips.
See Figure 8
Remove protection film al protection film from
the Chimney Extension. Insert Chimney
Extension in the Base Chimney through the top of
the hood using designated space.
Extend Chimney Extension to neccessary height
(7'-8' from the hood.) Secure Chimney Extension
by fastening it to the wall with two M4x12mm
screws

INSTALL/REMOVE OIL TRAY
FILTER AND LIGHTS REPLACEMENT
Oil tray is located inside of the range hood, above the
removable aluminum grease filter attached to the bottom
of the motor. Turn off and disconnect the range hood from
the power source. Wear thick gloves prior to removing the
fiter. Find the filter underneath the rangehood. The filter's
open/close lock is located in the center on the rigt side of
the filter. Using your finger press the lock's button and
carefully pull the filter down while holding the oposite side

Filter is now removed. Locate the installation space at the
bottom of the motor. Slide in the plastic oil tray forward
until it stops. Make sure that the holes on the bottom of the
motor are centered by the tray.
Important Note: Incorrect installation of the tray or if the
tray is not installed will cause the oil to drip through the
range hood on top of the range and will cause fire. Timely
cleaning of the oil tray is required. Check the oil tray at least
once a week to make sure it will not overflow when full.
See Figure 10
