Schritt 2: Austausch und Parametrieren
ªErsetzen Sie den Sender COMPACT mit dem Sender-Adapter
CA5-T.
ªErsetzen Sie den Empfänger COMPACT mit dem Empfänger-
Adapter CA8-R und wählen Sie wie bisher die Funktionen aus
(siehe Parametrieren des Empfängers im Handbuch COMPACT).
•Die Funktion „Mindestwiedereinschaltzeit“ ist nicht
auswählbar. Die Werkseinstellung ist standardmäßig 500 ms.
•Die Funktion „Mehrfachabtastung“ ist nicht auswählbar. Die
Werkseinstellung ist standardmäßig „SingleScan“.
Schritt 3: Anschluss
ªVerbinden Sie den Adapter über die Anschlussleitung mit dem
Sicherheits-Sensor SOLID-4E bzw. MLD 520.
Es ist keine weitere Veränderung der bestehenden Verkabelung
notwendig.
Schritt 4: Prüfen
Gemäß IEC TS62046 sowie europäische und nationale Vorschriften,
wie z. B. EU Richtlinie 89/655 EWG, sind Prüfungen durch befähigte
Personen in folgenden Situationen vorgeschrieben:
•vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme
•nach Modifikationen der Maschine
•nach längerem Stillstand der Maschine
•nach Umrüstung oder Neukonfiguration des Sicherheits-
Sensors
ªFühren die vorgeschriebenen Prüfungen gemäß der Anschluss
und Betriebsanleitung des Sicherheits-Sensors SOLID-4E bzw.
MLD 520 durch.
Step 2: Replace and configure
ªReplace the COMPACT transmitter with the CA5-T transmitter
adapter.
ªReplace the COMPACT receiver with the CA8-R receiver adapter
and select the functions in the accustomed manner (see
Configuring the receiver in the COMPACT manual).
•The "Minimum restart delay time" function cannot be selected.
The default factory setting is 500 ms.
•The "Multiple scanning" function cannot be selected. The
default factory setting is "SingleScan".
Step 3: Connect
ªConnect the adapter to the SOLID-4E or MLD 520 safety sensor
via the connection cable.
No further changes to the existing wiring are necessary.
Step 4: Test
In acc. with IEC TS62046 as well as European and national
regulations such as EU Directive 89/655 EEC, tests are to be
performed by competent persons in the following situations:
•Prior to the initial start-up
•Following modifications to the machine
•After longer machine downtime
•Following retrofitting or reconfiguration of the safety sensor
ªPerform the prescribed tests according to the connection and
operating instructions of the SOLID-4E or MLD 520 safety sensor.
