These instructions present your new equipment’s features.
This manual is for information purposes only. It is by no means to be regarded as ight instructions.
Flight training can only be guaranteed and provided by a competent and authorised training structure.
Only regulatory authorities of the practice from the respective country can determine the pilot’s competence.
Each country has its own regulations and laws regarding paragliding.
It is your responsability to know and comply with the regulation of the region you are ying in.
Improper use of the equipment can cause serious and irreversible injuries,
which may even lead to the death of both pilot and passenger.
Neither manufacturer nor dealer endorse or is responsible for the misuse of the equipment.
It is the own pilot’s responsability to use his or her equipment properly.

Preight Check
• Check that neither your harness nor your carabiners are damaged.
• Check carefully that the rescue parachute handle cables go through the retaining loops of the rescue pocket aps.
• Check that your own settings have not been changed.
• Check that all zippers and buckles are properly closed.
• Check that your speed system is correctly adjusted and connected to the wing.
• Check that no line nor object come into contact with the rescue parachute handle.
• Check that the carabiners are correctly closed and connected to the glider.

INTRODUCTION
Size
The Fusion is available in one size.
However, it adapts to most body types.
It is designed to support a maximum weight of 100kg.

The FUSION is LEVEL WINGS reversible harness, designed for speedriding, speedying, mini-wing and
paragliding activities.
It allows all uses: with skis and speedriding wing, or on foot with speedying or paragliding wing.
Its exceptional comfort has made its success since its creation.
Whether on skis, standing and manoeuvering on the ground in high winds, or seated for long ights, it is designed to
be your main partner all year round.
The bag’s shape and ergonomics have been studied for optimal carrying comfort.
The 3D geometry of the harness oers additional comfort, and the two-point closure allows for greater ease of use.
Parachute connection
Connect each riser to its attachment point by making a lark’s head knot. For this, use
the largest webbing loop.
Once it’s done, make sure there is no backlash in the risers’ attachment point. Do the
same for both attachment points
Tie every knot tightly.
Position the risers in the guide along the harness. The risers should not be tensed.
Most ventral containers are compatible; however, make sure to adapt the size of the
container to your rescue parachute.
We recommend that a competent person carry out the initial installation of the rescue
parachute.

Rescue parachute webbing setting
The Fusion has a sheath allowing the rescue parachute webbing to pass
through, on its right and left side.
You’ll need to have your own straps in order to connect your rescue parachute
to the harness. Be careful to choose straps of a suitable length.
The fusion doesn’t come with rescue parachute container, you need to have
your own.
Adapt the distance between the handle and the container, so as not to risk
entanglement with the lines of the parachute.
In order to connect your ventral rescue parachute to your harness, please
follow the container supplier’s instructions.
For the connection of the container, as well as for the proper use of the rescue
parachute, please refer to the supplier’s instructions.
Be sure to adapt the distance between the handle and the container, so as not

Harness – wing connection
Connect the risers to the attachment points (A/B) of the harness with automatic
carabiners. Be careful not to get any twist between these elements.
Make sure the risers are facing the right way: “A” should be forward in the direction of
the ight.
Last but not least, check that the carabiners are properly closed.

Fast Pack storage pocket
The right side pocket is designed for easy and simple storage
of the fast pack when carrying the harness.
Speed system setup
The speed system strap should go rst through loop 1, located at the front of the
harness, then through loop 2.
Connect the strap to the speed system with a hook.
Once the speed system is connected, adjust its lengths according to your height.
For correct use, there should be no tension on the hooks in a released position.
Check the speed system by simulating acceleration, i.e. by sliding the strap.
Shoulder adjustment
The length of the shoulder strap must be adjusted, neither too long nor too short, in
order to allow more comfort.
The shoulder pads are meant to provide support and hold your bust.
Back adjustment
In order to straighten the backrest, you need to
shorten the strap.
In order to tilt the backrest backwards, release the
strap.
Seat adjustment
A zipper is located between the lower back of the harness and the beginning of the seat.
Closed, it reduces the size of the seat. Open, it makes it bigger.

Taw Launch
To take o with a winch, you must have a towing bridle designed for this practice.
Connect the release system in the loop of the wing risers, with a dyneema adapter or rope with a resistance greater than or equal to
300kg.
The towing bridle can then be xed either by a lark’s head or by a suitable link.
To complete the installation, follow the recommendations of the tow bridle’s supplier.
For the practice of winched ight, get information from a competent organization.
The Fusion does not have specic attachment points for winching.
Storage and transportation
When you are not using the harness, store it in a dry, cool and clean place, protected from UV rays.
If your harness is wet or damp: dry it well before storing it.
For transport: protect the harness from mechanical damages and UV rays (put it in a bag). Avoid long journeys in damp conditions.
Cleaning and maintenance
It is best to clean your harness from time to time. To do this, we advise that you use only neutral detergent and a soft brush.
Than rinse thoroughly with clear water.
Do not use thinner or solvent in any way. This could damage the bers that make up the webbing and fabrics of your harness.
Zippers should be be lubricated from time to time with a silicone spray.
If you use your harness regularly in a dusty environment (earth, sand), in order to keep carabiners and buckles clean, we recommend washing them with
detergent, thorough drying (blowing), NO LUBRICATION.
In all cases, before use, the proper functioning of the buckles and carabiners must be checked.
If you y in a marine environment, pay particular attention to the maintenance of your equipment.
Service life
Make a complete check of your harness at least every two years by examining
• straps (no excessive wear, no incipient breakage, no annoying creases)
• buckles and carabiners (smooth running / wear)
The bers that make up the straps and fabrics of the FUSION have been selected and woven in such a way as to guarantee the best possible
compromise between lightness and durability.
However, under certain conditions, for example following very prolonged exposure to UV rays and/or signicant abrasion or even exposure to chemical
substances, it is imperative that you have your harness checked by an approved workshop. Your safety is at stake.
Carabiners must not be used for any purpose other than paragliding (mountaineering, traction, etc.). LEVEL WINGS recommends changing carabiners
every 5 years or after 500 hours of use.
You must open and unfold your rescue parachute every year.

Recycling
All our materials are selected for their excellent technical and environmental characteristics.
None of the components of our harnesses are dangerous for the environment.
Many of the components are recyclable.
If you consider that your Fusion has reached its service life, you can separate all metal and plastic parts and apply the selective sorting rules in force in
your country.
Regarding the recovery and recycling of textile parts, we invite you to contact the organizations guaranteeing the management of fabrics.
Repair
Despite the use of high quality materials, it is possible that your harness may suer damage.
In this case, it must be checked and repaired by an approved workshop.
Environmental friendliness
Paragliding is an outdoor activity. You evolve in an environment for which you are responsible.
So be sure:
* to respect the local ora and fauna
* not to throw your waste on the ground
* not to generate more noise than necessary.
You thus participate in the preservation of the environment and activity.
