1. IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Read and follow these instructions, heeding all warnings.
2. Keep these instructions for future reference.
3. Do not use this apparatus near water.
4. Clean only with a dry cloth.
5. Do not block any of the ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instruc-
tions.
6. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (in-
cluding amplifiers) that produce heat.
7. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding - type plug. A polarized plug has two
blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding
prong. The wide blade or the third prong is provided for your safety. When the provided plug does
not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
8. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience recepta-
cles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
9. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
10. Use only with a cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer, or sold with the
apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid
injury from tip-over.
11. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
12. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been
damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or ob-
jects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not
operate normally, or has been dropped.
13. The equipment shall be used at a maximum of 35 degrees C ambient temperature.
14. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not open the equipment. For safety reasons, only allow quali-
fied safety personnel to open the equipment.

3. GETTING STARTED
Your Soul Sub wireless subwoofer is designed to provide low noise, low distortion bass performance
from its 8-inch down-firing speaker. The Soul Sub can accompany other Levven Audio products, e.g. the
Soul Bar soundbar, to deliver a complete sound experience.
3.1 PRECAUTIONS
Read this manual carefully. It provides installation and operating instructions, information on Soul
Sub system configurations, and information that will help you get optimum performance from
your system. Visit levven.com/support or contact an authorized Levven Audio dealer for answers
to any questions you might have. All of us at Levven welcome your questions and comments.
3.2 PLACEMENT
There must be adequate clearance around the product. Avoid placing the product in a cabinet or
stacking with other equipment. We recommend placing Soul Sub on the floor with a 6-inch (15
cm) clearance to any wall.
When deciding the best location for Soul Sub, include the distance needed to transmit from out-
side spaces like the back yard or patio. The wireless SKAA transmitters broadcast to an 80-foot
(25-meter) diameter. For optimum wireless reception and audio performance, mount your Soul
Sub vertically (feet down) beside a wall. Installing it on its side, flat on a furniture stand, will yield
a smaller wireless reception range.

3.3.1 POWER LED
The power LED indicator will be lit bright red when Soul Sub is powered on and active.
When this LED is o, it indicates Soul Sub is powered o.
When the power LED is a dim red, Soul Sub is in low-power standby mode.
3.3.2 POWER BUTTON
Press and hold this button to power o Soul Sub. Click this button to wake Soul Sub from
o or standby state.
3.3.3 SKAA BOND LED
This dual-color red/green LED indicates several states of the SKAA wireless audio receiver.
See section 4.5 for more details.
3.3.4 SKAA BOND BUTTON
This button allows several interactions with the SKAA wireless audio receiver. See section
4.5 for more details.
3.3.5 VOLUME UP + BUTTON
Click this button to increase Soul Sub’s volume.
3.3.6 VOLUME DOWN  BUTTON
Click this button to decrease Soul Sub’s volume.
3.3.7 CROSSOVER FREQUENCY AND PHASE BUTTON
Click this button to adjust the crossover frequency. One button click will cycle the cross-
over selection to the next frequency setting.
A lower frequency setting will send fewer high frequencies through the subwoofer. This
adjustment allows you to tailor the sound to fit the room where Soul Sub is installed.
Press and hold this button to adjust the phase of the subwoofer.

3.4 AC POWER INPUT
Connect the supplied power cord to the AC outlet.
Your Soul Sub will operate between 100-240 AC line
voltage with a line frequency of either 50 or 60 Hz.
There is no need to convert or adjust the unit in any
way.
Note: If you are going to be away from home for an
extended period, such as a month-long vacation, it is a
sensible precaution to unplug it (as well as other audio
and video components) while you are away..
3.5 POWER ON
1. Install the power cord into Soul Sub.
2. Insert the power cord into an AC outlet.
3. Press the power button to bring the unit out of
standby.
4. The power LED will light bright red. This indicates
the unit is ready to receive a wireless signal from a
SKAA transmitter.
4. USING SOUL SUB
4.1 CLUSTERING
Clustering is a way to synchronize the bonding and volume of multiple SKAA wireless audio
receivers, e.g. a Soul Bar soundbar and a Soul Sub subwoofer. Clustered products function as
though they are a single device. When clustered together, any change in volume or source con-
nection applies to all products simultaneously.
One device in the cluster behaves as the master. Any change in volume or source connection to
the master is reflected automatically to the slave devices.
4.1.1 CLUSTERING PROCEDURE
To cluster Soul Sub to another device with the other device being the master and Soul
Sub being the slave, follow these steps:
1. Power o both devices.
2. Place the master within 6 feet (2 meters) of the slave.
3. Make sure all SKAA transmitters within 80 feet (25 meters) are powered o.
4. Power on the master by inserting the AC power cord into the AC power jack.
5. Click and hold the master’s SKAA Bond button while at the same time clicking the
master’s standby button to bring the master out of standby. (Hold the SKAA Bond
button down until the SKAA Bond LED begins to flash red).
6. The master’s SKAA Bond LED will flash red.
7. Power on the slave.
8. Wait for the slave’s red SKAA Bond LED to flash.
9. Wait for the slave’s and the master’s SKAA Bond LEDs to stop flashing (solid red).
10. Power o both devices.
11. Your devices are now clustered.
4.1.2 UNCLUSTERING PROCEDURE
To un-cluster a master and slave so that each device acts independently for bonding and
volume, follow these steps:
1. Power o both devices from their appliance inlet.

2. Make sure all SKAA transmitters within 80 feet (25 meters) are powered o.
3. Power on the master by inserting the AC power cord into the AC power jack.
4. Click and hold the master’s SKAA Bond button while at the same time clicking the
master’s standby button to bring the master out of standby. (Hold the SKAA Bond
button down until the SKAA Bond LED begins to flash red).
5. The master’s SKAA Bond LED will flash red.
6. Wait for the master’s SKAA Bond LED to stop flashing (it will turn solid red).
7. Power o both devices.
8. Your devices are no longer clustered.
4.2 TV SETUP
Connect your TV to the Levven Audio TV Transmitter (SKAA Talisa).
a) Find a suitable location to permanently ax the TV Transmitter to the side or top of
your TV.
i. Locate available USB ports on your TV. If one is not available, locate available
power receptacles nearby.
ii. Locate any digital audio out ports on your TV. If your TV has a digital audio op-
tical out, it may be labelled as “digital audio out”, “optical”, “TOSLINK”, or “SPDIF”.
If your TV has a digital audio coax out, this is sometimes labelled as “digital
audio out” or “SPDIF” and has an RCA connector.
iii. The IR port on the TV Transmitter will need to face the front of the TV. It will
need to receive infrared signals from your TV’s remote control so you can use
the remote to change the volume.
iv. Consider the length of the USB cable from the TV Transmitter to an available
USB port on your TV. Note that the USB port on the TV Transmitter is for power
only. The included USB power adapter can be used if you do not have a USB
port available on your TV.
v. Carefully place the included adhesive strip (hook and loop fastener) on side of
the TV Transmitter and to your TV. Stick the TV Transmitter in place.
b) Test your power setup with the TV Transmitter:
i. Remove any cable installed in the TV transmitter’s 3.5mm jack.
ii. Power on the TV Transmitter. Insert the TV Transmitter’s USB plug into your
TV’s USB port, or supplied USB power adapter.
iii. The TV Transmitter’s LED will cycle between lit for several seconds and unlit for
1 second.
iv. This confirms that your power setup for the TV Transmitter is good. Note that
anytime you power on the TV Transmitter without a 3.5mm cable connected,
its LED will show this same pattern.
c) Setup the TV Transmitter for use with your TV:
i. Insert the optical cable into your TV’s optical port or insert the coax cable into
your TV’s digital audio coax port.
ii. Power on the TV Transmitter. Insert the TV Transmitter’s USB plug into your
TV’s USB port or supplied USB power adapter.
iii. The TV Transmitter’s LED will remain unlit. Note that anytime you power on
the TV Transmitter without a 3.5mm cable connected, its LED will show this
same pattern.
d) Play some audio on your TV by watching a TV show or video.
i. Put Soul Sub in SKAA receive mode.
ii. Double-click the bond button on Soul Sub. The Soul Sub’s SKAA Bond LED sta-
tus indicator should turn bright amber and you will hear your audio playing.
iii. Press and hold the bond button for 3 seconds to add your Levven Audio TV

Transmitter to the Soul Sub’s green list. The SKAA Bond LED will turn bright
green.
iv. Press Soul Sub’s bond button four times to put Soul Sub into swing mode. The
SKAA Bond LED will turn bright red.
4.2.1 INFRARED REMOTE SETUP
You can use your favorite infrared remote control with the TV Transmitter. The TV Trans-
mitter has an intelligent learning ability to recognize and save new IR remotes.
Using your TV’s infrared (IR) remote control, you can increase, decrease, or mute the vol-
ume through the Levven Audio TV Transmitter.
Follow these instructions to setup this feature:
a) Prepare by having your favorite infrared remote control near at hand.
b) Power o the TV Transmitter by removing the USB plug from the TV’s USB port, or
from the supplied USB power adapter.
c) Remove the optical or coax audio input cable from the TV Transmitter’s 3.5mm jack.
The IR learning is initiated when the TV Transmitter is powered on without the audio
cable.
d) Power on the TV Transmitter. Insert the TV Transmitter’s USB plug into the TV’s USB
port, or the supplied USB power adapter.
e) The TV Transmitter’s LED will flash twice when powered up to indicate learning has
started.
f) Point your remote to the front of the TV Transmitter and press and release the follow-
ing remote-control buttons in order:
i. Volume Up
ii. Volume Down
iii. Mute
g) After each press and release, the TV Transmitter’s LED will briefly flash.
h) After pressing mute on your remote control, the TV Transmitter’s LED will stay on solid
for 2 seconds, confirming that the learning process was completed successfully.
i) Reconnect the optical or coax audio cable to the TV Transmitter’s 3.5mm audio input
jack.
j) Power cycle the TV Transmitter by removing the USB plug and plugging it back in.
k) Enjoy using your remote to control the TV Transmitter’s volume.
NOTE: If you make a mistake in learning the buttons on your remote, restart the process
and perform the steps again.
4.3 SETUP WITH AUDIO NOT FROM A TV
You may prefer to setup Soul Sub when your audio comes not from your TV, but from your disc
player, your cable box, your set top box (Amazon Fire TV TM, Roku TM or Apple TV TM), or your satel-
lite box.
You can follow the same procedure as described in the previous section, but instead connect
your TV transmitter to your preferred audio source.
4.4 PHONE OR TABLET DEVICE SETUP
Soul Sub can also play audio from any SKAA transmitter.
1. Insert a SKAA transmitter into your device.
2. Play some audio on your device.
3. Double-click the SKAA Bond button on Soul Sub. The SKAA Bond LED will be lit bright amber
and you will hear your audio playing on Soul Sub.
4. Press and hold the SKAA Bond button for 3 seconds to add your SKAA transmitter to Soul
Sub’s green list. The SKAA Bond LED will be lit bright green.

5. Press the bond button four times to put Soul Sub into swing mode. The LED will be lit bright
red.
4.5 USING THE SKAA BOND BUTTON
Single-Click Playing or waiting to play from a SKAA
transmitter on the green list.
Amber (dim) = waiting
Amber (bright) = playing
Double-Click Playing or waiting to play from a SKAA
transmitter that has not yet been added to
the green list.
Green (dim) = waiting
Green (bright) = playing
Hold Add or remove a SKAA transmitter from

4.6 PLAYING AUDIO FROM A PHONE OR TABLET DEVICE
1. Insert a SKAA transmitter into your smart device.
2. Open the SKAA “cmd” app.
3. Start playing audio on the device. At this point, the device is transmitting audio via the SKAA
transmitter.
4. If the SKAA transmitter is the only one transmitting and it has been added to the green list,
then you will hear your audio playing.
5. If the SKAA transmitter has not added to the green list, follow the instructions in previous
sections to add your SKAA transmitter to the green list.
6. If the SKAA transmitter is not the only one transmitting and your Soul Sub is playing audio
from another source, follow the instructions ahead to hear audio from a dierent SKAA trans-
mitter.
4.7 PLAYING AUDIO FROM A MAC
1. Insert the Ursula (USB) SKAA transmitter into the Mac’s USB port.
2. Play some audio on the device.
3. Click the Apple in the top left corner of the screen and choose “System Preferences”.
4. Click on “Sound”.
5. In the Sound settings screen, click the “Output” tab.
6. Select “SKAA Transmitter” from the list of audio output devices.
7. Adjust the volume to desired level.
8. Play an audio file on your Mac and follow the green list process in Section 4.9 to add this Ur-
sula SKAA transmitter to the green list.
9. After you add Ursula to the green list, press the bond button four times to return Soul Sub
into swing mode.
4.8 PLAYING AUDIO FROM A WINDOWS PC
1. Insert the Ursula (USB) SKAA transmitter into the Windows device. It will automatically install
the required drivers and enable wireless audio transmission.
2. Play some audio on the device.
3. Adjust the volume on the device to desired level.

4. Follow Section 4.9 to add this Ursula SKAA transmitter to the green list.
5. After you add the Ursula SKAA transmitter to the green list, press the bond button four times
to return Soul Sub into swing mode.
4.9 THE GREEN LIST
Soul Sub can save a list of favorite SKAA transmitters in its green list. If a SKAA transmitter is not
on the green list, Soul Sub may not play your audio.
1. To add your SKAA transmitter to the green list, connect the SKAA transmitter to a device and
start playing audio.
2. The SKAA Bond LED on Soul Sub should be a dim amber or dim green to indicate that it is
looking for new SKAA transmitters. Double click the SKAA Bond button on Soul Sub to search
for the transmitting, non-favorite SKAA transmitter. The LED indicator will flash bright amber
when it discovers the SKAA transmitter signal.
3. When you hear your audio playing, press and hold the SKAA Bond button for four seconds to
save your SKAA transmitter in the green list.
4. The SKAA Bond LED will turn solid green to indicate audio is playing from the green list trans-
mitter.
5. After you add Ursula to the green list, press the bond button four times to return Soul Sub
into swing mode.
4.9.1 TIPS WHEN USING THE GREEN LIST
1. Soul Sub can save up to ten SKAA transmitters in its green list.
2. Soul Sub will auto-add a SKAA transmitter to its green list if you play from it for 30
minutes.
3. The SKAA cmd app identifies the available receivers your device can play to (via its
SKAA transmitter). Go to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and search “SKAA”
to download the app.
4.10 SWING MODE
Swing mode is the easiest way to use a Levven Audio receiver when you have more than one
SKAA transmitter in your space.
After you add or remove a SKAA transmitter from a Soul Sub’s green list, press the bond button
four times to put that Soul Sub in swing mode. The LED status indicator will turn red.
Now Soul Sub will automatically play from any transmitting SKAA transmitter in its green list,
without having to manually press the bond button. Disconnect the first SKAA transmitter when
you want a Soul Sub to detect and play audio from a dierent transmitter.
4.11 LISTEN TO A DIFFERENT SKAA TRANSMITTER
What can you do if you want to listen to a dierent SKAA transmitter when another is already
playing?
1. The easiest way to change the SKAA transmitter you are listening to – power o or discon-
nect the SKAA transmitter from the first device, then connect and play from a second device.
2. Activate swing mode so Soul Sub will automatically play from any transmitting SKAA trans-
mitter in the green list.
3. To manually control audio playback from Soul Sub, single-click the bond button and switch to
the next transmitting favorite SKAA transmitter or double-click the bond button to switch to
the next transmitting non-favorite SKAA transmitter.
4.12 RESET / CLEAR ALL SETTINGS
To clear all saved SKAA transmitters from the green list, press the bond button six times. The LED

status indicator will flash red, Soul Sub’s green list will be cleared, and volume settings reset. This
lets you add new SKAA transmitters to the green list.
4.13 USE WITH OTHER LEVVEN AUDIO RECEIVERS
Soul Sub works well with other Levven Audio products like Soul Bar, Soul Play, AR5, and RE1. Re-
view the possible speaker combinations on the levven.com web site.
5. TROUBLESHOOTING
Issues in audio systems most often stem from poor or wrong connections, or improper control settings.
If you encounter problems, isolate the area of diculty, check the control settings, determine the cause
of the fault and make the necessary changes. If you are unable to get sound from Soul Sub, review the
following conditions:
5.1 STANDBY LED IS NOT ON
No main power to Soul Sub. Check AC power connections at the amplifier and the AC outlet.
5.2 NO SOUND
If the product is getting AC power, but is producing no sound, check the Power LED. If Soul Sub’s
SKAA Bond LED is dim, it means that Soul Sub is seeking connection. Check the following condi-
tions,
• Is Soul Sub bonded to a wireless streaming device?
• Is the streaming device turned on?
• Is audio playing on the wireless streaming device?
• Is the streaming device on mute?
• Is the volume on the streaming device set too low?
• Is audio playing on the wired device?
• Is the volume on the wired device set too low?
Note: Soul Sub allows only one connection at a given time to play music. If a device is already
bonded with Soul Sub and you are trying to play music from another source, disconnect the de-
vice which is currently bonded with Soul Sub before bonding the desired device with Soul Sub to
play music.
If the SKAA Bond LED is on bright solid, it means Soul Sub has successfully bonded with a device.
Check all connections and control settings on associated components.
5.3 TROUBLE WITH SKAA

8. WARRANTY
1-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Levven Electronics Ltd. (“Levven”) warrants that Soul Sub you have purchased shall be free of any de-
fects in parts and workmanship if used under normal operating conditions for a period of one (1) year
from the date of purchase, except this warranty shall apply only to the original purchaser.
PLEASE RETAIN YOUR SALES RECEIPT, AS IT IS YOUR PROOF OF PURCHASE COVERING YOUR LIMITED WAR-
RANTY.
THIS WARRANTY IS VOID WITHOUT SUCH PROOF OF PURCHASE.
Defective units will be repaired or replaced without charge, at Levven’s discretion, with a like or compa-
rable product by the Dealer if presented with proof of purchase to the Authorized Levven Audio Dealer
from whom Soul Sub was purchased. Any repair or service performed by any person or entity other than
Levven is not covered by this limited warranty. Transportation costs are not included in this warranty.
This limited warranty becomes void if the product has been damaged by alteration, misuse, accident, or
neglect; or the product has been repaired or serviced by persons not authorized by Levven. THE FORE-
GOING CONSTITUTES THE ONLY WARRANTY MADE BY LEVVEN WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCT AND IS
MADE EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. Any implied warranties, in-
cluding without limitation, any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose,
imposed under state law are limited to the duration of this limited warranty. Some states do not allow
limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations may not be applicable to you.
This warranty is void if the Soul Sub enclosure has been opened.

Votre caisson de basses sans fil Soul Sub est conçu pour orir un bruit de fond et une distorsion
extrêmement réduits grâce à son haut-parleur de 8 po à diusion vers le bas. L’appareil Soul Sub
fonctionne avec les autres produits audio Levven, comme la barre de son Soul Bar, pour garantir une
expérience sonore complète.
3.1 PRÉCAUTIONS
Veuillez lire attentivement ce manuel. Ce manuel contient des instructions d’installation et de
fonctionnement pour les configurations du système Soul Sub ainsi que des renseignements qui
vous aideront à bénéficier d’une performance optimale de votre système.

3.2 EMPLACEMENT
Le produit doit disposer d’un dégagement adéquat autour de celui-ci. Évitez de placer le produit
dans une armoire ou de l’empiler avec d’autres appareils. Nous recommandons de placer l’appar-
eil Soul Sub sur le sol, accompagné d’un dégagement de 15 cm (6 po) de tout mur.
Au moment de décider du meilleur emplacement de l’appareil Soul Sub, veuillez inclure la dis-
tance requise pour transmettre l’audio des espaces extérieurs comme la cour arrière ou la ter-
rasse. Les transmetteurs SKAA sans fil peuvent diuser le son à une distance de 25 mètres (80
pieds) de diamètre. Pour une réception sans fil et une performance audio optimales, fixez votre
appareil Soul Sub à l’horizontale (pieds vers le bas) à côté du mur. Lorsque ce dernier est installé
sur le côté ou à plat sur un meuble, il ore une portée de réception sans fil plus restreinte.

3.3 PANNEAU AVANT
3.3.1 DEL D’ALIMENTATION
Le voyant DEL d’alimentation s’allume en rouge lorsque l’appareil Soul Sub est sous ten-
sion et actif. Lorsque cette DEL est éteinte, cela signifie que l’appareil Soul Sub n’est plus
sous tension.
Lorsque la DEL d’alimentation est faiblement allumée en rouge, l’appareil Soul Sub est en
mode d’attente de faible consommation.
3.3.2 TOUCHE D’ALIMENTATION
Appuyez sur cette touche, et maintenez-la enfoncée, pour mettre l’appareil Soul Sub hors
tension. Cliquez sur cette touche pour réveiller l’appareil de l’état d’attente.

3.3.7 FRÉQUENCE DE CROISEMENT ET TOUCHE DE PHASE
Cliquez sur cette touche pour ajuster la fréquence de croisement. En un clic, la sélection
de croisement passera au prochain réglage de fréquence.
Un réglage de fréquences plus basses fera passer moins de fréquences dans le caisson
de basses. Ce réglage vous permet de personnaliser le son à la pièce dans laquelle le
caisson de basses est installé.
Appuyez, et maintenez appuyée, la touche pour ajuster la phase du caisson de basses.
3.4 ALIMENTATION C.A.
L’appareil Soul Sub nécessite une tension c.a. de 100 à
240 volts pour fonctionner et une fréquence du secteur
de 50 ou 60 Hz. Il n’est pas nécessaire de convertir ou
d’ajuster l’appareil d’aucune façon.
Remarque : Si vous devez vous absenter de la maison
pendant une période prolongée, p. ex. un mois de con-
gé, il est préférable de débrancher l’appareil (ainsi que
tout autre composant audio ou vidéo) pendant votre
absence.
3.5 MISE SOUS TENSION
1. Installez le cordon d’alimentation dans l’appareil.
2. Insérez le cordon d’alimentation dans la prise c.a.
3. Appuyez sur la touche d’alimentation pour sortir
l’appareil du mode d’attente.
4. La DEL d’alimentation s’allumera en rouge vif. Cela
signifie que l’appareil est prêt à recevoir un signal
sans fil du transmetteur SKAA.

4. UTILISATION DE L’APPAREIL SOUL SUB
4.1 REGROUPEMENT
Le regroupement est une façon de synchroniser l’appareillage et le volume de multiples récep-
teurs audio sans fil SKAA, p. ex. une barre de son Soul Bar et un caisson de basses Soul Sub. Les
produits regroupés fonctionnent comme s’ils étaient un seul appareil. Lorsqu’ils sont regroupés,
tous les produits appliquent le changement de volume ou la connexion source simultanément.
Un des dispositifs du groupe agit à titre de dispositif principal. Tout changement de volume ou de
connexion source au dispositif principal sera reflété automatiquement aux dispositifs asservis.
4.1.1 PROCÉDURE DE REGROUPEMENT
Pour regrouper l’appareil Soul Sub à un autre récepteur SKAA lorsque celui-ci agit à titre
de dispositif principal et que l’autre dispositif est asservi, veuillez suivre les étapes suiva-
ntes :
1. Couper l’alimentation des deux dispositifs.
2. Placer le dispositif principal à moins de 2 mètres (6 pi) du dispositif asservi.
3. Assurez-vous que tous les transmetteurs SKAA à moins de 25 mètres (80 pi) soient
mis hors tension.
4. Veuillez mettre le dispositif principal sous tension en insérant le cordon d’alimentation
c.a. dans la prise d’alimentation c.a.
5. Cliquez sur la touche d’appareillage SKAA du dispositif principal, et maintenez-la en-
foncée, tout en cliquant sur la touche de mise en attente du dispositif principal pour
le faire sortir du mode d’attente. (Maintenez la touche d’appareillage SKAA appuyée
jusqu’à ce que la DEL d’appareillage SKAA commence à clignoter en rouge.)
6. La DEL d’appareillage SKAA du dispositif principal commence à clignoter en rouge.
7. Veuillez mettre le dispositif asservi sous tension.
8. Attendez que la DEL d’appareillage SKAA rouge du dispositif asservi clignote.
9. Attendez que la DEL d’appareillage SKAA du dispositif principal et asservi cesse de
clignoter (rouge continu).
10. Couper l’alimentation des deux dispositifs.
11. Vos dispositifs sont maintenant regroupés.
4.1.2 PROCÉDURE DE SÉPARATION
Pour séparer un dispositif principal d’un dispositif asservi afin qu’ils agissent tous deux de
manière indépendante à l’égard de l’appareillage et du volume, veuillez suivre ces étapes.
1. Veuillez mettre les deux dispositifs hors tension en les retirant des prises de courant.
2. Assurez-vous que tous les transmetteurs SKAA à moins de 25 mètres (80 pi) soient
mis hors tension.
3. Veuillez mettre le dispositif principal sous tension en insérant le cordon d’alimentation
c.a. dans la prise d’alimentation c.a.
4. Cliquez sur la touche d’appareillage SKAA du dispositif principal, et maintenez-la en-
foncée, tout en cliquant sur la touche de mise en attente du dispositif principal pour
le faire sortir du mode d’attente. (Maintenez la touche d’appareillage SKAA appuyée
jusqu’à ce que la DEL d’appareillage SKAA commence à clignoter en rouge.)
5. La DEL d’appareillage SKAA du dispositif principal commence à clignoter en rouge.
6. Veuillez attendre que la DEL d’appareillage SKAA du dispositif principal cesse de
clignoter (elle s’allumera en rouge continu).
7. Couper l’alimentation des deux dispositifs.
8. Vos dispositifs sont maintenant séparés.

4.2 CONFIGURATION DU TÉLÉVISEUR
Branchez votre téléviseur au transmetteur de télévision Levven Audio (SKAA Talisa) :
e) Trouvez un endroit adéquat pour fixer le transmetteur de télévision de façon perma-
nente sur le côté, ou la partie supérieure du téléviseur.
i. Repérez les ports USB disponibles de votre téléviseur. Si aucun port n’est dis-
ponible, trouvez une prise de courant à proximité.
ii. Repérez les ports audio numériques de votre téléviseur. Si votre téléviseur
comporte une sortie optique audio numérique, cette dernière peut être dé-
crite comme étant « digital audio out », « optical », « TOSLINK » ou « SPDIF ». Si
votre téléviseur comporte une sortie coaxiale audio numérique, cette dernière
peut parfois être décrite comme étant « digital audio out », « SPDIF » et com-
prendre un connecteur RCA.
iii. Le port IR sur le transmetteur de télévision devra faire face vers l’avant du
téléviseur. Il devra recevoir des signaux infrarouges de la télécommande de
votre téléviseur afin que vous puissiez utiliser la télécommande pour modifier
le volume.
iv. Veuillez tenir compte de la longueur du câble USB provenant du transmetteur
de télévision au port USB disponible de votre téléviseur. Veuillez prendre note
que le port USB du transmetteur de télévision ne sert qu’à l’alimentation de
l’appareil. L’adaptateur d’alimentation USB inclus peut être utilisé si vous n’avez
pas de port USB de disponible sur votre téléviseur.
v. Placez soigneusement la bande adhésive fournie (système de fermeture à
bouclettes) sur le côté du transmetteur de télévision et sur votre téléviseur.
Collez le transmetteur de télévision en place.
f) Veuillez mettre votre configuration d’alimentation à l’essai avec le transmetteur de
télévision :
i. Enlevez tout câble installé dans la prise 3,5 mm du transmetteur de télévision.
ii. Veuillez mettre le transmetteur de télévision sous tension. Insérez la fiche USB
du transmetteur de télévision dans votre port USB du téléviseur ou l’adapta-
teur d’alimentation USB fourni avec l’appareil.
iii. La DEL du transmetteur de télévision eectuera un cycle allumé pendant
quelques secondes à éteint pendant une seconde.
iv. Cela confirme que votre configuration d’alimentation pour le transmetteur de
télévision est adéquate. Veuillez noter que chaque fois que vous mettez le
transmetteur de télévision sous tension sans câble de 3,5 mm branché, sa DEL
présentera le même cycle.
g) Configurez le transmetteur de télévision afin de pouvoir l’utiliser avec votre téléviseur.
i. Insérez le câble optique dans le port optique de votre téléviseur ou insérez le
câble coaxial dans le port coaxial audio numérique de votre téléviseur.
ii. Veuillez mettre le transmetteur de télévision sous tension. Insérez la fiche USB
du transmetteur de télévision dans votre port USB du téléviseur ou l’adapta-
teur d’alimentation USB fourni avec l’appareil.
iii. La DEL du transmetteur de téléviseur restera éteinte. Veuillez noter que
chaque fois que vous mettez le transmetteur de télévision sous tension sans
câble de 3,5 mm branché, sa DEL présentera le même cycle..
h) Veuillez faire jouer un extrait sonore sur votre téléviseur en regardant une émission
télévisée ou une vidéo.
i. Veuillez mettre l’appareil Soul Sub en mode de réception SKAA.
ii. Double-cliquez sur la touche d’appareillage de l’appareil Soul Sub. L’indicateur
d’état de la DEL d’appareillage SKAA de l’appareil Soul Sub devrait s’allumer
ambre vif et vous devriez entendre le son jouer.

iii. Appuyez sur la touche d’appareillage, et maintenez-la enfoncée pendant trois
secondes pour ajouter votre transmetteur de télévision Levven Audio à la liste
verte de l’appareil Soul Sub. La DEL d’appareillage SKAA s’allumera en vert vif.
iv. Appuyez sur la touche d’appareillage de l’appareil Soul Sub à quatre reprises
pour faire passer l’appareil en mode d’oscillation. La DEL d’appareillage SKAA
s’allumera en rouge vif.
4.2.1 CONFIGURATION DE LA TÉLÉCOMMANDE INFRAROUGE
Vous pouvez utiliser votre télécommande à infrarouge favorite avec le transmetteur de
télévision. Le transmetteur de télévision comporte une capacité d’apprentissage intel-
ligente qui lui permet de reconnaître et d’enregistrer les nouvelles télécommandes à
infrarouge.
À l’aide de votre télécommande à infrarouge du téléviseur, vous pouvez augmenter, di-
minuer ou couper le son de l’appareil grâce au transmetteur de télévision Levven Audio.
Veuillez suivre ces instructions pour configurer cette option :
l) Préparez-vous en ayant votre télécommande infrarouge favorite à portée de la main.
m) Veuillez mettre le transmetteur de télévision hors tension en retirant la fiche USB du
port USB du téléviseur ou de l’adaptateur d’alimentation USB fourni avec l’appareil.
n) Enlevez le câble audio optique ou coaxial de la prise de 3,5 mm du transmetteur de
télévision. L’apprentissage infrarouge est lancé à la mise sous tension du transmet-
teur de télévision sans le câble audio.
o) Veuillez mettre le transmetteur de télévision sous tension. Insérez la fiche USB du
transmetteur de télévision dans le port USB du téléviseur ou l’adaptateur d’alimenta-
tion USB fourni avec l’appareil.
p) La DEL du transmetteur de télévision clignotera deux fois à la mise sous tension pour
signaler le début de l’apprentissage.
q) Pointez votre télécommande vers l’avant du transmetteur de télévision, puis appuyez
et relâchez les touches suivantes de la télécommande, dans l’ordre suivant :
i. Augmentation du volume
ii. Diminution du volume
iii. Muet
r) Après avoir appuyé et relâché chaque touche, la DEL du transmetteur de télévision
clignotera brièvement.
s) Après avoir appuyé sur la touche muet de votre télécommande, la DEL du transmet-
teur de télévision demeurera allumée en continu pendant deux secondes, confirmant
que le processus d’apprentissage a été réalisé avec succès.
t) Rebranchez le câble audio optique ou coaxial dans la prise de 3,5 mm du transmet-
teur de télévision.
u) Faites exécuter un cycle d’alimentation au transmetteur de télévision en enlevant la
fiche USB et en la branchant de nouveau.
v) Utilisez votre télécommande pour commander le volume du transmetteur de télévi-
sion.
REMARQUE : Si vous faites une erreur d’apprentissage des touches de votre télécom-
mande, redémarrez le processus et eectuez les étapes à nouveau.
4.3 CONFIGURATION AVEC UN SIGNAL AUDIO ET NON À PARTIR DU
TÉLÉVISEUR
Vous pouvez préférer configurer l’appareil Soul Sub lorsque les signaux audio ne proviennent pas
de votre téléviseur, mais de votre lecteur de disque, votre terminal numérique, votre décodeur
(Amazon Fire TM, Roku TM ou Apple TM), ou votre récepteur satellite.
Vous pouvez suivre la même procédure que celle décrite dans la section antérieure, mais vous
devrez brancher votre transmetteur de télévision à votre source audio préférée.

4.4 CONFIGURATION D’UN TÉLÉPHONE OU D’UNE TABLETTE
L’appareil Soul Sub peut également faire jouer un extrait sonore à partir de n’importe quel trans-
metteur SKAA.
1. Insérez un transmetteur SKAA dans votre dispositif.
2. Faites jouer un extrait sonore sur votre dispositif.
3. Double-cliquez sur la touche d’appareillage SKAA de l’appareil Soul Sub. La DEL d’appareillage
SKAA devrait s’allumer ambre vif et vous devriez entendre le son jouer sur l’appareil Soul Sub.
4. Appuyez sur la touche d’appareillage SKAA, et maintenez-la enfoncée pendant trois sec-
ondes pour ajouter votre transmetteur SKAA à la liste verte de l’appareil Soul Sub. La DEL
d’appareillage SKAA s’allumera en vert vif.
5. Appuyez sur la touche d’appareillage à quatre reprises pour faire passer l’appareil Soul Sub en
mode d’oscillation. La DEL s’allumera en rouge vif.

3. Faites jouer un extrait sonore sur le dispositif. Le dispositif transmet à présent l’extrait sonore
au moyen du transmetteur SKAA.
4. Si le transmetteur SKAA est le seul dispositif qui transmet l’extrait sonore et qu’il a été ajouté
à la liste verte, vous entendrez alors votre extrait jouer.
5. Si le transmetteur SKAA n’a pas été ajouté à la liste verte, veuillez suivre les instructions aux
sections antérieures pour ajouter votre transmetteur SKAA à la liste verte.
6. Si le transmetteur SKAA est le seul dispositif qui transmet l’extrait sonore et que l’appareil
Soul Sub joue l’extrait sonore à partir d’une autre source, veuillez suivre les instructions ci-
après pour entendre l’audio d’un transmetteur SKAA diérent.
