INSTRUCTIONS
STEP A: Setting wireless channel (A,Bor C) and inserting
batteries:
1. Sensor. Unscrewthe battery door and open. Onthe left hand side you will see
a small black channel selection switch. It shouldbe factory preset to channel A.
If it is not, use asmall screwdriver or ballpoint pento move it tochannel A.
Insert 3 AAA batteries. Close thelid and screw tightlyshut to ensure a
waterproof seal.

2. Digital SoundMachine.
Turn the unitup-side-downand
remove the battery cover. In the
center of the battery
compartment you will seea
black channel selection switch.
It shouldbe factory pre-set to
channel A. If itisnot, move it to
channel A.
NOTE: Thesmall sensorand
the digitalsoundmachine,
must alwaysbe onmatching
wireless channels.A+A or
B+B or C+C
Channels of the SoundMachineand theSensor mustbe thesame or the unit
will not function inauto mode. Nowinsert 4 size C batteries, close the lid and
place the unit on aflat, dry surfacein the bathroom.
BE SURE TO KEEP THE UNITOFF. You can test this by moving the round
volumewheel unit theunit "clicks" OFF.
STEP B: Install the Sensor under your Toilet's lid.
NOTE: PAYATTENTION! The sensor must be installed correctlyfor the unitto
function properly. The sensormust be installed UNDERthetoiletlid, in alevel
position,with the screwat thetop when the lidis raised. LOOK at these pictures
carefully.
1. Raisethe SEATand
the LID of your toilet. (The
TT sensor should be
installed onthelid with
both theseat andlidupto
be sure itwill not hit the
seat when they areboth
down)
2. Locate where you want
to install the TT sensor. It
should be inthemiddle,a
bit belowcenter onthe
underside of the toiletlid.
Mark lightly with apencil.Remember the screwgoes UP and theunit
should be level!

3. Peel the backing off
the mountingtapeonthe
back ofthe unit and
gently press into the
marked place under the
toilet lid.Keepthe
sensor level, with the
screwat top.
4. Step back and besure it islevel and
centered. If youare satisfied with its
location,nowpress very firmly for10
secondstofully bond the adhesive to
your toilet lid.
5. Let the unit rest inthis position for 20
minutes before use. During this timetheadhesionwill becomestronger.
6. After 20 minutes place the toilet liddown.
STEP C Set-up
your digital sound
machine for
automatic use.
1. On the rear of the unit,
you will see a switch for
Manual or Auto function.
Set this switch to Auto.

2. Now, turn the unit ON, using the volume wheel on the front right side. You will
hear a CLICK as it turns on.
STEP D Using your Toilet Tunes unit in Automatic Mode.
1. Raisethe lid of your toilet. You will notice that music PLAYS onthe
Toilet Tunes digitalsound machine.
2. Choseyour Sound!Press the different selection buttons untilyou find
the soundor music that pleases you.
3. Adjust the volume.Turn the wheel counter-clockwise tomake the
volumeLOUDER and clockwise tomake it SOFTER.
4. Closeyour toilet lid. The sound goes OFF.
STEP E TroubleshootingAutomatic Mode
NO SOUND. If when you performedstepDyou didnotget any sound try the
following steps inorder:
1 besuretheunitis on,by turning thevolumewheel counter-clockwise.
Raise and lower the toilet lidseveral times.
2. change the mode switch in the back to manual and adjust the volume
wheel. If you still have nosound,check that the batteriesare new and installed
correctly.If there isstill no sound,pleasecontact customer service at 305 428-
2599. Perhaps you received adefective unit or your unit was damaged in transit.
3. If there issound in manualmode, change back to auto mode andtry
the toilet lidagain. The digitalsound machine must be inAUTOmode towork with
the toilet sensor.

4. If this does notsolve the problem, open the battery compartments of
both units andbe sure they are both on the SAME WIRELESS CHANNEL. AtoA,
B toB, orC toC.
5. Check that thetransmitter batteries are newand installed correctly
and that thelid is screwed tightlyshutsecuringtheir connection. Nowraise and
lower the lid several times. IF this does not solve the problem, we apologize for the
inconvenience and ask you to contact customer service at 305 395 3734.
STEP F Multi-Toilet Automatic Operation
In Bathroom1: Set one pair of digital music boxand sensor bothtochannel A.
In Bathroom2: Set the other pair both tochannelB or bothto C.
STEP G Manual Operation.
1. Set to Manual. On the back ofthe unit, turn the mode button away fromAuto to
Manual. Thewireless sensor isnowdisabled andyour toilet will nolonger control
the digital sound machine.
2. Turn unit ONand adjust volumeto desired level.
3. Select desired sound.
4. Press the Manual ON/OFFbutton (center top ofunit) to mute thesound. Press
again when you desiresound. The unit will nowwork manuallyat the touch ofthis
button.
5. To ChangeSounds. Press theManual ON/OFFbutton untilthe unit PLAYS.
Select the newsound. Press the Manual ON/OFF button until the unit is mute. The
unit willnowremainplaying thissound whenever you press theManual ON/OFF
button.
STEP H Making the sensor attachment permanent.
Weadvise sealing the edgeswith 100% silicone adhesive after youhave tried out
your Toilet Tune unit and are happy with its function and the sensors location on
your toilet. Youcanuseany silicone based bathroomcaulk or adhesive commonly
sold at Home Depot, Lowe's
or Ace Hardware. We highly
recommend100% silicone
sealant suchas GE Silicone
II Household Glue.

1. Turn thedigital
sound machine
OFF.
2. Cut the
adhesive tube open.
3. Raise thelid.
4. Squeeze sealant
all around the
edges of the
sensor, top, sides
and bottom.
5. You canleave as is, or if too "goopy" gently wipe theedges downwith your
finger or a caulking tool. For best results, try to leave the lid inthe up position
overnight while it dries. The silicone will dry clear and you will barely see it.

Appendix II: BATTERY LIFE
The sensor takes3AAA size batteries and ifyou use a high quality alkaline type
they should last for up to 1 year.
The digitalmusicboxtakes 4 Cbatteries, and highquality alkalinebatteries may
last 4to6months dependingon your households amountoftoilet useand the
volume level selected. As thebatteries get old, you will noticethe volumedecrease.
Whenthisbecomesvery low,or the unit begins tomiss automatic transmissions,
replace thebatteries.

Appendix III: GENERAL TROUBLE SHOOTING
If you unit misses automatic ON signals.
1. Jiggle the toilet lid.
2. Raiseit up andwait 3 seconds.
3. Lower it and wait 3 seconds. Try again.
If your unit does not turn OFF from automatic use
1. Jiggle the toilet lid.
2. Raiseit back up and wait 3seconds.
3. Lower it.
If unit stilldoes not pick upsignals.
1. Check that transmitterbatteriesare fittingtightly inside.Check that
screwis tightly closedtohold them inplace.
2. Check if music boxplays in manual mode.
3. Check ifwireless channelsettings arematchingon both transmitter
and music box.
